A Fantastic property, suitable for a large family holiday. Ample facilities, good location for a relaxing holiday with plenty for all to do. Hosts could not do enough to ensure everything was perfect. Would highly recommend for a family holiday of all ages.

Property exactly as described. Perfect for our family party of 25. All facilities provided with no shortage of dishes, cutlery, glasses etc. We couldn’t have chosen a more suitable place. Helped by the amazing weather, the pool was in constant use and a good size for us all. The games room was used by the young, but too hot for jacuzzi and sauna. Thoroughly recommended to anyone wishing to have a large gathering with plenty of space and a huge choice of entertainment.

This property is simply wonderful. Very comfortable and extremely well equipped. So many things for all ages to do. We were a combination of friends and family of all ages for a 70th birthday celebration and it was just a brilliant week. The area is beautiful with many things to do and see but you don’t even need to leave the house to have lots of activities (swimming, pétanque, billards, table tennis, hot yup, sauna, gym, volleyball court, bicycles, trampoline. The owners were delightful and extremely helpful and communicative. Would give more stars if possible.

Our Family loved our holiday here. A beautiful location looking out across vineyards, with a wonderful pool and sun deck area, lots of places to sit quietly but also lots to do to keep the kids entertained. Warm welcome from the owners and great communication. would definitely recommend as a venue for a large family holiday.

We had a wonderful week in this magical place with our family to celebrate our golden wedding aniversary. The weather was very warm for the entire stay so the pool was the most popular place.The Hosts were very attentive and gave us a full tour of the property on our arrival explaining how everything worked and how to keep the house cool in the heat.The property is very well equipped, our grandchildren loved the table tennis and made good use of the bikes. If the weather had been a bit cooler i am sure they would have enjoyed the volley ball as well.Everything was very clean and the host were happy for us to contact them if we needed any assitance.

Despite temperature records being broken, we had a wonderful stay at the property. The owners could not have been more accommodating and we spent a lovely week exploring the region (with 9 kids in tow). Would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone considering accommodating a large group.

Beautiful house with everything we could have needed. So well equipped for large groups. Pool was Beautiful. Hosts were so friendly and helpful. I cant say anything bad about this place. I would 100% recommend it. Suitable for all age groups too. Photos and details dont do it justice, you really need to see it. Its amazing. Very rural but I believe McDonald's deliver. No air con but fans provided throughout the house so even in 40 heat it was fine. If we go back to France on holiday again I will definitely be giving Daniel and Marie-Jeanne a call thanks again for a great week Marita

We had a fantastic stay, the property is amazing, the owners were very helpful. The views are to die for, the countryside is truly beautiful. Everything you could wish for in a French holiday destination.

Our first visit en famille to the Bergerac region

Wonderfull Place to be

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful house. Nice surrounding, pure nature and an extraordinary view. Marie-Jeanne and Daniel are very friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this accomodation.

We loved our stay in LES GRANDS CHENES and were sad to leave. The gite is set in beautifully kept grounds. However, in order to go shopping or on excursions one has to have a car.

Good food and fine wine with friends

There were 22 of us staying in the villa from 6 to 47 years old. We laughed, ate good food, drank fine wine and played by the pool, volleyball, table tennis, pool etc We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this villa to people. The area is beautiful and the villa is well placed to explore.

Lovely property in a fantastic location

Marie-Jeanne and Daniel's villa is in a beautiful location, with lovely grounds and a fantastic view over the valley below. The property is very well appointed and we lacked for very little. Our hosts' communication was excellent and they were extremely accommodating to our travel plans, etc. We had a slight issue with one of the ovens while we were there and Daniel sorted it very quickly. Highly recommended.
