This was our third trip to the Cape and the second time staying behind Scallop Cove. Everything was great! The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. It was hard to get in the top bunk, but we made it work. Super clean and can’t beat the location. It was a great week and can’t wait to come back!

This charming villa was beautifully updated (we used to stay at Scallop Cove many years ago), clean, and had all the necessities needed for our stay! The only recommendation is a new master bed frame (it creaks/squeaks when you move). Thanks so much for a relaxing, wonderful time at the Cape!! We definitely plan to be back!

Really enjoyed staying at your place. Location was a great view of the bay and short walk to the dog friendly Gulf Beaches. Kitchen was well appointed. Master bedroom was a little smaller than expected, but not an issue.

We just loved this cottage. It was perfect for our relaxed beach vaca. The screened front porch was perfect for watching the sunrise over the bay. We also loved opening the french doors to allow the breeze in. The kitchen was SO nicely appointed!! Great cookware, nice stemware & even insulated drink cups for the beach. Everything we needed to make our meals with ease (even some spices). The bed was very comfy. The rooms are tight and not much room for luggage but to us this wasn't a concern as we used the 2nd bedroom as a closet. I would definitely stay here again! The private beach right across the street was so convenient. And the general store is there is you need anything. Check in was a breeze. Good wifi strength too.

First time staying on the bay

This was our first time staying on the bay as we normally stay Oceanside. Everything about the home was perfect. My daughter had a blast playing on the dock, catching crabs, and whatever else she could find. The only downside I will say is the bunkbed was very difficult to get into because the letter was not accessible on it. Very minor inconvenience for an overall amazing place to stay.

Easy check in, Courtney was super responsive. Well-stocked kitchen. Everything was very clean. My only tips for for absolute perfection would be to 1) check the AC system, there was some visible black debris on the vent on one of the bedrooms and 2) fix the big hole in the screen on the porch to keep skeeters out. The location was amazing! Our son loved fishing off the dock and the walk to the beach was easy, even with the dogs. We would definitely come back!

Convenient and just what we needed

When we arrived we had slight delay in check-in due to cleaners still being on site (only a few minutes behind). A was not left inside the property as mentioned in the breakdown after booking; however I was able to reach the manager/owner and he informed me he would take care of it- to just use the one in the lock box. Upon entered the premises we did notice that the bathroom sink did not drain properly so we opted to use the kitchen sink instead for brushing teeth, hand washing etc. The cleaning ladies could have put a little more effort into cleaning (wiping down areas that aren’t touched often) and areas like light switch that get touched frequently. I have a son with special needs and who gets sick easily so it’s important to us that a facility be super clean. So I took it upon myself to wipe the inside down as much as I could with disinfectant wipes. Overall the property was nice and as described in the listing. The view of the bay was perfect and we were in short walking distance of the beach! I would recommend this place to others - hopefully it will have a little more of a thorough cleaning next time we stay.

Nice place - biggest suggestion is that check in was late (4pm) and checkout was early (10am). It would make the experience much better to change checkin to 2pm and checkout to 11am. Also pier/deck for beach access was a mess - rotted wood with exposed nails. Obviously from hurricane damage however should be repaired by now
