Bluffs neighborhood, an 8 minute walk down to the Old Mill & River
A single-story, 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhome. The best thing about the home is its location - a quiet, safe neighborhood where you walk down to the Old Mill District in 7 minutes to watch a movie, go out to eat, walk/bike along the river, or attend the festivals and concerts; downtown Bend is about 1 mile away; the ski shuttle is 1.5 miles away or drive yourself to Mt. Bachelor, which is 22 miles away.
You also are less than 1/2 mile from 3rd street, which has many grocery stores, restaurants, and the Outlet Mall. Get on to Hwy 97 just four blocks from the house off Reed Market to get to Trader Joe's, or to head north to Redmond or south to Crater Lake.
It has an open floor plan that allows people in the kitchen, living and dining areas to stay connected while cooking, eating, and watching a movie. Tall windows bring in lots of natural light. The gas fireplace adds a cozy feel. There is a large dining table (seats 6) and seating for 4 on the bar stools at the kitchen counter. A high chair and Pak-n-Play are available for the little ones.
The TV is a 43" LED LCD with 1080p (not a Smart TV), We have a Blu-Ray DVD player and movies. Wi-Fi is included for streaming. Board games, card games, and books for all ages. We have maps, brochures, and a local guidebook on activities and destinations in the area.
The kitchen is FULLY EQUIPPED with Cuisinart cookware and bakeware, blender, coffee pot, toaster, Pyrex dishes, roasting pan, Dutch oven, loaf pans, mixing bowls and other kitchen tools. Enjoy the wine and champagne glasses. There are matching plates and tumblers for dining on the patio if you want to cook on the gas grill. Propane is provided.
The master bedroom has a queen, Memory Foam bed. Enjoy the full en suite bathroom with a large walk-in closet (about 7' x 9') and skylight. There is room to set up your computer on the desk.
The second bedroom has two twin beds (in a trundle). The mattresses are firm. There is a chest of drawers, luggage rack, nightstand and hooks for hanging items. This room does not have a closet. There is a closet across from the bedroom in the hallway with more storage space. Or, you can hang items in the utility room (see photos). There is a full bathroom with tub and shower combo just across the hall from second bedroom.
Full size washer and dryer with 1/2 size ironing board. Utility room with cabinets and shelves.
The large garage is attached to the house, so you don't have to walk in rain or through snow to carry in your groceries. There is room for your bicycles, kayaks, & skis and hooks to hang wet gear. We provide igloos, plastic cutlery, and lawn chairs for your picnics and day-trips from Bend or attending summer concerts at the Old Mill amphitheater. We'll give you an electric garage door opener.
We have children's life jackets, inner tubes to float the river, with a foot pump to inflate them, a set of plastic oars and towels you can use at the river or pool. Use of any owner's available sporting equipment is used at your risk (owner does not assume responsibility for your use).

My daughter and I share a birthday and we this was such a great location. What a perfect place to stay- very comfortable, easy to get to, and close to everything.
This is such a nicely appointed & clean rental. We stayed for 11 nights and I don't think I could have found anything better because this was the best. Quiet neighborhood, close to everywhere you would want to go. The Old Mill District is a short walk away on a path, it was so easy. Lots of light comfortable mattresses and plenty of linens etc. Having the washer dryer was great. Tons of closet space. The communication with Christine was exemplary. Rent this place, you won't be sorry.
Host was outstanding and responsive in every way possible. Location excellent.
See above. Outdoor space very nice. Second bedroom bed and sleeping arrangements definitely could be improved. Drawer pulls on kitchen drawers and cabinets would be huge improvement. Consider bunks or queen. Would definitely rent the unit again.
Beautiful place to stay and operate out of. Excellent location for visitors to Bend and all of its charms. For me, it is perfect to come back to after a day of fishing the rivers outside of Bend, picking up some fast food for dinner, and crashing. Breakfast at the nearby diner named Seargents is outstanding and have eaten there since the 1960s. Shopping areas abound.
Nice place, well equipped kitchen, good neighborhood, convenient location in the middle of Bend. Nice running and walking trails nearby. Twin bed mattress a bit uncomfortable.
Wonderful property close to the Old Mill District, no need to worry about parking there, just a short walk down the hill. Close to the parkway for ease of getting around town. Stocked with plenty of games and kids books (our son forgot all about the stuff he brought). Plenty of kitchen supplies and storage room if needed. Will definitely book again!

Great house for family of four and tons of equipment
The house is new and very clean. All the key areas are well sized - large garage with storage and hooks, large laundry room with tons of storage/shelving and W/D, nicely sized kitchen, large master. We had plenty of space for our winter gear and clothing. The second bedrom is small and will work great for kids but not for a couple. The location is great and easy walk to Old Mill (we walked there) or even downtown (didn't try walking there). As someone else mentioned house manual was great with lots of useful info. Also lovely biking and kayak/canoe themed decorations all over the house. Kelly was very responsive and helpful.

Great family house short distance from Old Mill District
We have really enjoyed our stay as the property suited our needs perfectly. The house offered plenty of space for our family of four and our kids were excited when they discovered all the board games and DVD’s. The house has a great curb appeal and is located in pretty quiet neighborhood (there is a road construction being done one street down but it didn’t affect us). The house on the inside was little older without many updates (thus the four stars) but it was very clean and bright. We were impressed with the owners manual. It was very well put together and very helpful. We also loved that we were able to use the washer/dryer after being on the road for days. We would recommend this place and would stay again. Thank you!

Exactly what we wanted!
Everything was seemless, from the check in, to the quality of the place, to the checkout. It was very clean and had a well supplied kitchen. If you like reading, they have a well stocked library. We had our two young kids with us so we didn’t get a chance but would have liked to! The garage was wonderful for parking too. We didn’t have to load two kids into car seats in the snow. We would definitely stay here again!!

The kitchen, bathrooms, laundry area and garage had everything we needed to make it feel like home! Thank you for a great visit!

Great spot close to Old Mill!
This property worked out perfectly for our family. We could easily run or bike down the gravel trail to get to the Old Mill in just minutes. I also easily rode my bike to downtown Bend. It was a cozy, sunny spot to return at the end of the day - and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We will definitely return to this spot!
