This was the perfect place for myself, spouse and our two English Labs. We loved the location. We walked to the parks, breweries and restaurants. The garage was key especially since the weather turned cold and sometimes rainy. The place itself was cozy and had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. Overall, we would love to be able to stay again.

Bend Experience

Little Milky Way is well-appointed for two people and its location is within walking distance of many attractions. The garage is big enough to park inside and store two e-bikes.

Great part of town

This is a great location - very walkable, close to DT with great places to eat and drink. The bikes were a nice perk and we enjoyed biking along the river. The unit was very comfortable and we lacked for nothing!

Great Carriage House Near Everything

We loved the carriage house apartment! It provided all the amenities and was close to everything. The included garage and bikes were an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place in Bend!

Everything was wonderful. The place was clean and really well stocked and the perfect location to walk everywhere in town and bike and run too. Porch was nice to sit on and drink coffee in the am. Would stay again!

Lovely Apartment in Bend

This is a great location in Bend. Close to shops, easy walk to downtown. Apartment is above the garage and not attached to the main house, so quiet and comfortable. The garage is a big plus. Ok for remote working, no desk. WiFi is strong.

Perfect location! Loved having the bikes to ride around town in the evening. Condo has plenty of towels and wash clothes, kitchen is small but very well stocked, and it was very clean. Lots of attention taken to details that make this little condo a perfect place.

Immaculate upstairs condo in a walkable neighborhood. Only a 30 minute drive to Bachelor and minutes to downtown Bend. Loved having a garage (especially in winter). Definitely would stay here again.

Great property, Perfect location!

My husband and I were in town visiting our daughter and family. This apartment was perfect as it's in the same neighborhood. The unit is perfectly equipped with everything needed and more. We had our little dog with us and he thoroughly enjoyed the large bed and treats. We will be back!!

Nice place, Great location.

This is a great spot in the heart of Bend, walking distance from many great places. My only complaint is the instruction to the front door need to be more clear. Make sure you enter from the back alley and not the front door of the address given to us like we did, oops. Luckily the people staying in the front where nice enough to explain were we needed to go.

Best Apartment in NW Bend

We are very familiar with Bend and have stayed in all kind of rentals. This was the first time we stayed in an apartment - above a garage...so I was apprehensive! Well, the place was so cute. the best equipped kitchen/pantry/bathroom I have ever seen. The owners understand the needs of short-term renters: spice rack/beautiful pots / stocked kitchen with coffee pods, sugar, cleaning products, laundry facility. Knives that actually are sharp! Small things matter! and whoever is in charge of these accommodations did an excellent job!

Discovering Bend!

Our very first trip to Bend couldn't have been more fun! And The Little Milky Way was even more wonderful than the VRBO pictures and description. What an ideal location! And it offers everything -- and more -- than you could possibly need....comfortable bed, large bathroom, washer/dryer, sitting area with large TV, bikes, amazingly stocked kitchen, your own garage, and being within walking distance of SO many things! The owners have done a superb job of making your stay there comfortable and easy!!! And they/the staff were extremely prompt, thorough and helpful. We walked to: 10 Barrel Brewery for a beer and a take-out yummy pizza; the Dough Nut for a decadent morning treat; and The Victorian for a delicious breakfast (go early.....or be prepared to wait a while!). We also ate at Bend Burger, Baltazar's Seafood Restaurant, Bend Brewing Company and Sweet Saigon Crawfish House. All very good! We took the very interesting Deschutes Brewery tour. Reservations are required, but we managed to be called off the wait-list. We loved the drive up to the top of Pilot Butte for an incredible view of Bend and the surrounding area! We spent one whole day just riding the bikes all over town. If you're coming from/going to Eugene, we highly recommend Route 242. We loved driving right through the lava field! You'll love Bend.....and you'll love The Little Milky Way!

Very nice little apartment perfect for our needs. Fabulous location in walking distance to great brunch, lunch, and dinner options. Spacious bathroom, everything very clean, laundry in unit. Instructions for the keypad were initially a little confusing but once we figured it out, it was very convenient. Would stay again!

Excellent Choice!

This is a wonderful place for 2 people. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots/pans, utensils, etc. It has a spice rack, salt and pepper grinders. The coffee pot uses either pods or you can brew a whole pot. The bed is super comfy; the pillows are very soft (so if you prefer a firm pillow, bring it). The washer and dryer is a hug convenience. There was laundry detergent, pods for the dish washer, dish washing soap, sponge for cleaning, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, body lotion and body wash in the shower. There are lots of restaurants nearby but with the great kitchen, we ended up cooking in almost every night. Costco is between Redmond airport and Bend and was very convenient, There are Safeway grocery stores all around. So to make a long review short, you can't go wrong with this rental!! And, if you want a great smash burger, go to Willyburger in the Deschutes Brewery parking lot!
