We are located off the main road, down a long driveway to the back of the property where you feel welcome the moment you arrive. Sit back and sip a glass of wine on your private covered back patio off of the primary bedroom, complete with your own private hot tub. We can help guide you through your visit to the wine country. We are located 2.1 miles from the down town Sonoma Plaza. If you need suggestions about the best restaurants, wineries, hiking trails, horse back riding, historical sights, etc., we are there for you! If you are celebrating a special occasion, just let us know. As a standard, we offer a complimentary bottle of wine. We will make it special for you upon your arrival!

So charming and peaceful, this is the perfect place to stay in Sonoma. The scenery is beautiful and it's still close to everything. The private patio and hot tub were the perfect end to each day, under the stars, with a final glass of wine. We just loved eveything about this cottage!!!

Beautiful Place and absolutely loved it. Would stay here again and again. Lovely property and quiet. It is very spacious, comfortable and love the way it is decorated. It was my birthday and they had a bottle of wine, 2 wine glasses and chocolate, very thoughtful. The hot tub was great to get into and has a beautiful patio to lounge on. I am a local wine grower who loves to share the beauty of Sonoma with friends and family. I have lived in the Valley of the Moon for over 46 years. I have grown to love and appreciate Sonoma's fine history and lovely vibrant colors of green fields, blue skies, harvest vines and the radiant harvest moon.

Why they chose this property

This property has a unique history. It used to be a chicken farm back in the day. There was a huge fire that swept through the valley. This property became known as the Lucky Finato property which was the only one spared in this area. The property sits on an old creek bed facing the eastern direction of the valley. We have since planted a vineyard back in 1999 of cabernet in honor of my father, Francisco Roberto Maestas. My father had always wanted the family to stay together and live and work on a vineyard. Since his work took him to New York, the dream never happened. Until we moved to the property and planted the vineyard and named it after my dad. Dad now lives in Sonoma and loves to walk the vineyard and be a part of harvest.

Come and walk the vineyard and sip some wine from our vineyard. Enjoy the hot tub and the beautiful valley of the moon in the evening. Sit back, relax and enjoy the private back patio off of the master bedroom.
