It was our first vk as a family of 4 (a 6 week old and a 16 month old) and it was so family friendly- we had the best time and hope to return again next year!!

Great place. Very well stocked. The unit is in a very well kept complex. The pool and hot tub are clean and we typically had both to ourselves. The place is very quiet. A bit of a walk to the beach but definitely an over all good location in Solana. Very comfortable, clean unit. Our only significant complaint was the heat. No fault of the owner, since we were well aware there no AC other than a freestanding AC unit in the primary. We thought it would be cool near the ocean in September but unfortunately it was a very humid, hot week. So just be aware that the upstairs will be very warm if the weather is unusually hot.

We loved our stay in Solana Beach. The property was perfect for our family. The location near Fletcher’s Cove was great Beach access. Our only complaint was the ants that we could not seem to get rid of; which we understand is an issue for beach locations. We bought some storage containers for our food and the host brought over additional traps, so we made it work. The beds were good, the amenities and thoughtfulness of the hosts/owners were the best of any VRBO we’ve stayed at, from spices, towels, beach supplies, etc. We would stay here again.

A dreamy Solana Beach getaway! Accommodations were even more beautiful in person. The beds were comfortable and the space was clean. The host was flexible and easy to communicate with. Would stay here again without hesitation.

A simply incredible experience from the point of check in to departure! This Ocean Front property is AMAZING and the location was a perfect hub for our daily adventures. The property manager “Lars” was incredible to work with and made sure we had everything we needed! We plan on returning to this exact unit in the future!

This home was beautiful! Exactly as it’s pictured. Fully stocked with all the things you’ll need for the beach, entertaining kids, cooking, living comfortably. There was a fully stocked spice cabinet, books for kids, games, puzzles, pack n plays, high chair, towels, sunscreen.. you name it. We used the wagon everyday! Loved sitting outside and eating and enjoying the view. The beach is a short short walk. The pool & hot tub were great. Overall highly recommend, would stay there again! The host was quick to reply and very helpful.

Our family stayed here for over a week, and unfortunately we would not recommend this property.Early in our stay, we began experiencing a persistent ant problem that became far more serious than simply seeing a few insects. Ants were in the sleeping areas and on the beds. Family members woke up with ants crawling on them, including on their faces, and several experienced bites. Some of our family ultimately chose to leave early.Pest control eventually came and placed additional traps, but we continued seeing ants afterward. We were offered another unit only when we were scheduled to check out the following morning, making it impractical to pack up and relocate our entire family for one night.Cleanliness was also concerning. We found extensive spider webbing and buildup behind a bed and other areas that did not appear thoroughly cleaned, which we documented with photos.After our stay, we also discovered prior guest reviews mentioning ant problems at this property and other units associated with the same management, which was especially concerning given our experience.Problems can happen at any rental, but how they are addressed matters. This significantly affected our ability to sleep comfortably and enjoy our family trip. Based on our experience, we would not stay here again or recommend it to others.Checkout requirements were also extensive. We completed the procedures provided to us before leaving, despite later being told otherwise. Not an honest host.

This guest informed us of some ants in the kitchen after a couple of days of their week long stay. We directed her to the traps and spray we have in our supply closet and sent over an exterminator the very next day. Her party refused to leave for the required 3 hours the exterminator needed to safely do a full treatment so they did the best they could putting out traps and doing a partial treatment. Ling sent some photos of one or two ants on the counter and one on a bed. I've managed this property for 15 years now and we have never had a guest complain about an ant in the bed. We have regular monthly treatments with an excellent exterminator at this property and the others we manage in the complex. This summer was more challenging with ants at all our units and we've heard it's been the same with other units along the coast. Ling and her party left the property in complete disarray at check out. They soiled every sheet and towel we have (we're very generous with what we supply and most guests are respectful of this) and it took our cleaners an extra 3 hours to clean after their stay. They did not follow the check out criteria and left a huge mess for our staff to deal with. We gave Ling a $200 credit prior to their departure for any inconvenience the ants caused, even though we did our best to remedy it, but she came back with a threatening message obviously written by AI asking for a 15% refund. This guest was disrespectful to me as a host, our staff and our home.

This oceanside condo was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family needs. It was clean as a whistle and well stocked. The location is ideal - walking distance to EVERYTHING - beach, restaurants, parks. Just lovely.

A world away a few hours away

Stepping out of the Arizona heat and enjoying cool mornings great neighborhoods beautiful location is what my family needed. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time away and don’t want everybody to know about this little Jimm of a location, but it’s worth it.

Fabulous Location and View

This unit is in a great complex that is quiet and walking distance to everything in Solana Beach. Lovely to wake up to the ocean view every morning and watch amazing sunsets at night. Enjoyed having the pool and hot tub. Would stay here again if in the area.

Place was absolutely amazing. Very well stocked with all the essentials you would need. there was a great supply of beach toys, a wagon, beach chairs, pickleball paddles tennis rackets, games and puzzles, The view from the deck was awesome. easy walk to the beach, dining and shopping.
