The cottage was very clean. I'm sensitive to smells, and the cottage had none. It came equipped with everything I needed for a short stay and to make a quick meal, if needed. The bed was soft and comfortable. Sitting along the shore of Green Bay was awesome. Once inside, it looked like you were right on the water.
The cabin is so cute and comfortable. The colors chosen for the decor matched the well coordinated colors of the sunsets we watched each night. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace inside after the sunsets. Wonderful, quiet location. Again, amazing sunsets!
It was the perfect size for my husband and I. We enjoyed eating dinner while looking out at the water. The cottage is well appointed and is stocked with everything you need to make basic meals. Highly recommend!
The cabin was amazing! Found out that they had just done improvements before our visit and those improvements made this a perfect getaway. Watching the sunset each night and listening to the waves was magical. Thank you! We will be back!

Cottage was much nicer than it looked in the initial website pictures. It has been renovated and was clean as a whistle. Love the pickled pine board ceiling and rafters and the shiplap walls. Look at later pictures in the listing to see the renovations. Loved listening to the waves at night and enjoyed touring the Door County peninsula. Quaint, quiet little cottage. It was everything we needed for a long weekend getaway with our dogs.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the cottage was so beautiful, and we loved the proximity to the lake (we swam multiple times here—once you get past the rocks, there is a nice sandy bottom, and it’s pretty shallow). The interior decoration of the cottage also adds to the ambiance. Everything was clean when we arrived, although the floors were quite dusty. One thing to note—if you are above 5’-9” in height, you might struggle taking showers (the ceiling in the bathroom is quite low). Overall we really loved this place and would like to return one day.
We traveled to Door County to celebrate our anniversary. The property’s location was excellent! We enjoyed lots of water foul including a Bald Eagle that was perched in a tree a half block down the street. The cabin was well stocked with plenty of towels, coffee and other amenities needed for the long weekend. There were great places for meals only a short drive away. All the main sites in Door County were within a 15-45 minute drive from the cabin. We would recommend this cabin to any couple that wants to enjoy a great weekend in Door County, Wisconsin.
Storm came through as we were driving in.. Sitting in the Windows of the cottage was amazing. The waves were hugh. The tv was out but that made sense as the storm upended trees etc. All in all we enjoyed our stay
Small cottage by the lake with a small bed and small shower, but we didn't come to the lake for those things. We came for the view, and the view did not disappoint. We got up in the morning and had our coffee on the lake, at then end of the day, we had a glass of Door County wine or a beer on the lake and watched a beautiful sunset. We had pelicans & sand cranes & a blue heron visit us. THAT was why we wanted a cottage on the lake. We were minutes from Sturgeon Bay, just up the road was Egg Harbor. We felt that we were in a really good location. Great cottage, come for the view, it doesn't disappoint.
This little cabin is just that - little! Perfect for 2 adults. One small bedroom with full size bed, dresser, nightstand and lamp. Cloths rack to hang a dew things. Living room is cozy with a loveseat and chair, end table and lamp, fireplace and 42 inch satellite tv and dvd player. Eating area has a table and 2 chairs right next to a large window facing the water, which is literally 12 feet from the cabin! Outsde has a nice deck with seating and more chairs on the lawn next to a fire pit. There is also a weber style kettle there to use. Enough dishes, tableware, pots and pans etc to get your meals cooked and eaten. The bathroom although small has a shower and plenty of towels and washcloths. Even stocked with mini shampoo, soap and lotion in case you forget yours! We loved this little place as it truly had everything we needed to be comfortable in a beautiful, rustic setting. Not for those who want shiny, new and bright.
Felt so at peace. Had windows open and could hear the waves gently wash up on shore as we laid in bed. The cottage was comfortable and met all our needs. Highly recommend Snugg Harbor Inn. Loved it.
The cabin was so charming and absolutely perfect for my husband and I to getaway and unplug for awhile. I felt it was just as described. We loved listening to the waves all day and night. The cabin had everything thing we needed. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate but I still bundled up and had coffee outside one morning. Make sure to visit Birmingham’s for a meal, good food by great folks.
Rustic small cabin 15 yards from water. Great sunsets. Not for tall people :) Spotty internet/Verizon phone.

Cabin
It reminds me of a guys hunting cabin. Cracks and holes where plenty of spiderwebs old ones that have been there a long time to new ones. Coffee pot took forever to brew a cup to lights that didn’t work in the kitchen. If your above average in build the shower will be tight for you and a bed that is a full (not even a queen) and has a considerable dip! Grass was almost knee high and a pier that is basically unusable to secure a boat to. The positive’s ……has a great view!

Cute and clean but needs a little TLC
Midship is a charming, cute and very clean cabin. Close to the water - it's like listening to oceanwaves. So relaxing and beautiful. We noticed somethings that should be updated/fixed. The window screens have napkins and tinfoil stuffed in them to fill in holes. The curtains are torn pieces of fabric that are stapled to the wall and falling apart. The headboard of the bed is leaning against the wall. The acutal wall near the airconditioner has a huge hole in it. At least two of the lamps are broken. The storm door is rotten out/broken.
We chose this cabin because we wanted someplace in Door County that was reasonable and on the water where we could see the sunsets and this fit the bill. The VBRO property picture from the kitchen table was dead on, you are right on the water. We had a campfire each night and and soaked in the view and the waves splashing on the water.
The cabin itself was just that, a cabin, and being used to cabins we were not disappointed. It was clean with no frills (except the view).
Well located with great sunset views and very much worth the price. Convenient to explore Sturgeon Bay as well as other Door County villages. Good lawn space with deck, fire pit and grill. This is an older cottage with uneven floors which might be difficult for those prone to a fall.

We own and operate a small hotel in Sturgeon Bay, WI. I was a school teacher and my husband a welding inspector but decided to try our hand at running a hotel. We started 30 years ago and have never looked back. We love it. It does get a bit cold in the winter.... haha
