Emerald Island Villa Home Pool /Spa 3 Miles to Disney 5BR 3BA

Nestled within Emerald Island Resort, which is only 3 miles away from Disney’s park entrance and has easy access to local restaurants and supermarkets. This twenty-four hour gated community is the most elegant and beautiful in Orlando surrounded by conservancy, palm trees, large ponds and fountains. Its clubhouse provides many facilities and concierge service.

We built this home for our family’s enduring love for Disney. We have added many upgrades and considered lots of details to make it an extraordinary vacation home. It is our desire that your stay here will make some of your greatest Disney memories ever.

This home includes five bedrooms and three baths with comfortable furnishings, an upgraded pool with Spa (Jet tub).

The five bedrooms are two master suites at opposite ends of the home, each with its own private bath. The first master has a king size bed, second has queen size bed. The third bedroom also has a king size bed, and the rest two are twin size Disney-themed bedrooms. Adding the Queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, this house will make the perfect vacation for any family or group of up to twelve people. The three bathrooms are located perfectly to add luxury and privacy to the master suites as well as the convenience to the rest.

Living room is open to the pool with a sliding door. It contains a queen size sleeper sofa and a chair. Entertainment center is furnished with smart TV, home theater, and DVD player. Both master suite bedroom has 32" LCD cable TV. Local telephone is provided. Game room has a pool table, and cable TV mounted on the wall.

Kitchen is fully equipped with upgraded appliances and dinner service for twelve. The kitchen nook and a spacious dining table for four present an informal dining with a view of the pool, and a separate dining room is also located near the kitchen.

Our fully screen enclosed pool is custom built with a spill over from the raised spa. There is a safety net around the pool in accordance with the newest safety regulations and for your family's safety. Our housekeeper conducts maintenance check each Thursday for the pool water.

Nice

House was clean. Owners were good communicators before and during the stay. Hot tub did not heat up while we were there. Beds were average to poor in some rooms. Pool was nice.Cookeare and utensils could be upgraded. Overall good experience.

You Can Certainly Do Better

The first thing you notice when you enter is that every room has marks and scrapes on the walls and desperately needs new paint in all the rooms. The first bedroom on the left has stains all over the carpet and something is wrong with the bed. If two people are sleeping there you will tend to roll together in the middle. The first bedroom on the right has a moldy/musty smell but not sure if it is the carpet or the bed. All three bedrooms on the right have broken/bend slats in the blinds. The couch and chair shown in the living room are no longer there. They have been moved to the game room where most of the vinyl covering them is peeled or peeling off. They have been replaced with a couch and a bean bag chair which sits low and is hard to get out of. The tv will make a popping sound and go from color to black and white. I unplugged it and the color would return for a while. While unplugging the tv is when I found the extra speaker for the surround system laying behind the cabinet as well as lots of dust bunnies. The window over the patio door is dirty but some attempt has been made to clean it about halfway up (not very successful). The kitchen has wine bottles over the cabinets and they are covered with dust. Two bulbs were burned out over the table and I replaced them with bulbs from one of the bathrooms. It had lots of dust and dead bugs in it. The monitor in the master bedroom for the computer is so bad you can't use the computer. The pool rules are on a board that has fallen off the wall and is now laying on the ground. Don't plan on using the bbq grill. The grates are covered with rust and flare-up shields over the burners are rusted through. This could be a nice place to stay but needs a major renovation to be so. I would NOT recommend it until that is done. The staff at the club house were not happy to hear our finding.

Lovely Family Friendly Home

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. From the moment of arrival, we were impressed by the LOVELY entrance and the friendly staff at the clubhouse. We actually stopped by the tiki bar and sat by the clubhouse pool for a drink before we arrived at the house. Once at the house, we were impressed by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the house. My husband and children loved the game room. We enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub every night. To our wonderful surprise , we were able to see the fireworks from Disney during our night swims!!!! Everything was so amazing and the owner was extremely accommodating. I'm so glad I discovered HomeAway and I will definitely use this rental again (and recommend to all my friends and family).

Perfect stay

The house is incridible, the Condo also. We stayed ten days at this house and every simple thing worked. The owner is kind and helpful. As it was the first time I rent a house in Orlando, I had lot of doubts, and the owner answer all of them with patience. Every room in the house are beautiful and functional. I really has nothing to complain.

A Beautiful House

This 5 bedroom house has everything you need for vacation with all the comforts of home. The listing's description is accurate and the photos were exactly as we found it. The only thing that the photos leave out are all the amenities and attention to detail that the owner put into it. The rooms are beautifully furnished and decorated. The property was sunny, spacious, clean and well-maintained, conveniently located by Disney World and Sea World. We enjoyed our stay very much, and the pool and jacuzzi were equally lovely. What A Great Place And A Real Bargain To.

We had our doubts about booking a home in Florida online, but we went for it, and found this jewel of Emerald Island. This home has 5 comfortable bedrooms, a pool, a jacuzzi tub, a games room, and many extras. 8 of us stayed for 13 nights, and didn't feel that we needed any extra room to find our own space. Judy responded very quickly to all our questions, she was very considerate of our needs, she is honest and trust worthy. We most likely will not be back to Florida any time soon, but we just loved this place and would recommend it for any family thinking about a Disney vacation. Emerald Island Resort is the added bonus behind this great deal, and is only a short drive from Disney-world. The community is well looked after, the staff is very courteous, the security is perfect and makes you feel safe. We did find a few small maintenance issues with the home, but nothing that would prevent you from having the most enjoyable and relaxed vacation spot ever. We opted for the pool heating, and found it to be very warm. What can we say, we are from Canada and used to swimming in cold water. We want to thank Judy and Kevin, for helping to make our Disney vacation a dream come true. We will tell all of our friends about this magnificent home for years to come, and would gladly share information with anyone asking about this place.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!

My family just recently returned from a 10 day stay here and it was wonderful! The house accommodated my entire party consisting of 5 adults, 1 teenager, 2 young children, and 1 baby without a problem. We all felt it was extremely clean and comfortably laid out. We loved having the pool for the kids which was always warm enough for them no matter what the temperature was! Even the foosball table provided so much entertainment for the kids while the adults were getting ready. It was 5 mins from Disney (where we spent most of our time) and conveniently close to super markets, restaurants, and even numerous fast food places. We've always stayed on-site at Disney but wanted to try a house this time after our last cramped resort room experience but have decided we would love to rent this one when we return for our next vacation! I really think having the space in the house and the private pool made our vacation so much better since it seemed so conducive for the entire family to spend time together. I HIGHLY recommend this house. The owner is wonderful to work with also.

Overall nice stay-more pros than cons.

Overall this was a nice property to stay. The owner was very easy to work with. The location was very close to Disney and other areas we wanted to visit. There were little things that needed to be addressed, such as the table was missing two supports so the table rocked back and forth, the skillets need to be put in the trash, we had to go out and buy one to have one where it didn't stick, and the pools lights did not work-the kids did a lot of night swimming. We would recommend this property to others. We were dissappointed because someone we knew had rented this the week prior and had left leftover items for our use such as laundry and dish detergent etc. and those items were not found.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! GREAT HOME

We loved staying at this home... a previous guest stated there was not a broom...although there was not a broom, there is a vacuum cleaner and that worked fine for us-- and we had 5 children with us. Owner is easy to work with and the people working at this gated community were always pleasant and helpful. Easy to get to anything you want to do. Recommend you do pick up gallan zip lock storage bags though for any leftovers .... there are only a few small containers with lids to store your leftovers. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at this home and have past this homes info on to all our friends and relatives.

Very nice home, but not well-stocked.

Pros: Very nice, clean, plenty of towels, great location, nice neighborhood. Great for a lot of people. Close to grocery store, restaurants, etc. Very reasonably priced. Cons: You will need to buy a lot of the little things that most VRBOs usually supply/or previous renters leave behind: dish & laundry detergent, dishrag, cleaning spray, salt, plastic wrap, napkins (none are supplied), toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, coffee filters, garbage bags (1 of each supplied). Also, couldn't find a broom to sweep up between meals. The TV in the game room does not work, and there are not enough outlets/no power strip, so you have to unplug the DVD player to plug in the cable box in the living room. Many of the chairs around the pool are rusted through and are not safe to sit on. I really like a warm pool, and even though we paid the extra for heat, it definitely wasn't turned up to 85 degrees as the contract stated. Overall: The issues above are fairly minor and would be easy to address before-hand with the owner. So YES I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE as a great alternative to an expensive hotel.

PERFECT!! EXC PRICE, EXC HOUSE!! EXC SERVICE!!

We stayed in this house for 24 days in July. We had the best time, we had a previous experience in emerald island so we loved the resort so we wanted to try another house. this house was perfect for us. My 6 year old boy loved it, specially the pool. When we arrive, we notice that a window was broken, we contact the owner and she took care of it with no cost at all. Everything worked fine, all the appliances in the kitchen, everything was very clean and organize. really, I would recommend this house to anyone, it actually has the lowest rates on Emerald and you will have a great time! really, we did have a wonderful time here and would go back if we visit Orlando again! :)

Highly Recommend!

This is truly a home away from home! This wonderful home offers everything you need to make your Orlando vacation absolutely magical! The owners are absolutely a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend this home to family and friends. It is conveniently located to most anything you'd like to do in Orlando. After a long, busy day, this home is the perfect place to return to! Best cost-benefit in the region

My family and I have stayed at this house three times now and we’ll continue to do so every time we go to Central Florida. Some of the key points of this house: - Great for a family getaway (5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms); - All appliances are new; - Broadband internet connection is fast and reliable. However, the provided desktop computer is old and slow. Bring your laptop, plug the ethernet cable in, and you’re all set. - It’s located just a few minutes from WDW (Animal Kingdom entrance); - Brand new ‘Super Target’ less than 5 minutes away. Additionally, the house is clean and the owners were always very helpful.

Great Place to Stay!

Very pleased with our stay here. We would stay here again and would recommend it to everyone. The accommodations surpassed our expectations and the pool is wonderful. Very convenient to Disney. Groceries and other shopping also nearby.
