Bagnols-en-forêt is a typically Provençal village with a magnificent view of the Estèrel, 15 minutes from the Côte d'Azur.

The house is located near the village. Quiet and sunny, it is pleasant to relax by the swimming pool, which is secured for children by an automatic safety shutter. The garden (2000m2) is fully landscaped with olive, palm, lavender, rosemary ... and very flowery. The house stays cool in summer, which is nice in the south.
Ideally placed for hiking during the late season, Bagnols-en-forêt is at the same time close to the Sea (22 km) from Cannes, Saint-Raphaël or Saint-Tropez, Sainte-Croix lakes, Saint Cassien ), the Gorges du Verdon (Biggest Canyon in Europe), Moutiers Sainte Marie, the hinterland (Grasse and its perfume factories, Fayence and its glider center, Draguignan.
Many cultural and sporting activities are available, especially in summer (3 golf courses within a radius of 25 km, numerous water sports on lake or sea, tennis, horse riding (including ballads), music festivals, festival.
Conveniences, a minimarket and a gas station are within a KM of the rental. Commerce (supermarket 1 km from the rental with a 24-hour service station)

Very nice holiday house with nice swimming pool. The garden is very beautiful too. The house is really clean and everything you need is available.The owners are really friendly and respond very quickly in case you have questions.If there would be air-conditioning, then the house would definitely get 5 stars!

Stunning property and great location

We had a fantastic stay in Bagnol-en-Foret in this beautiful home. The location is perfect and we enjoyed day trips to Nice, the Grotte de Cezaine and the nearby lake where we spent the day on the water.

fantastic house

We (two adults and two children) had a fantastic week in this lovely house. The grounds are lush and charming and the accommodation had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were fine and clean. Both kids and adults loved the large pool. We can highly recommend this property.

Excellent maintained sommer villa, very nice pool,very well equipped, well working and easy to use (2x SAT TV, DVD, Dolby surround, WIFI, extra sommer kitchen very useful with extra fridge, micro wave...). Lots of different plants, flowers, pool area well covered with trees and bushes to be on your own. Very safe for our children. Owners are superfriendly, we got always a warm welcome and a cool water or beer on arrival. We were staying there now 5 years in a row and booked already for next year. Highly recommended!!!

La Bellague

This beautiful property was the perfect get away for our family. The hosts were extremely patient as we had our flights delayed twice and they stayed up until midnight to greet us with a well earned cold bottle of wine and show us around. The villa was immaculate in every way and made for an excellent self catering holiday. The supermarket is less than a 5 minute drive away so very handy. The pool was fantastic and the kids really enjoyed the outdoor area during the warm days. The garden is picturesque and the villa as a whole is secluded with plenty of privacy. Our sat nav brought us from Nice but the quickest route takes you across the D56 which is not a good road if you are not used to it. On the way home we opted to drive down through the village on the D4 to get back on the A8 to Nice. This was much more comfortable. I would highly recommend this property and would definetley return again.

Absolutely fantastic property just outside Bagnols

This property was amazing. We had a couple of hiccups communicating with the hosts when we first arrived.* However, Google Translate came to the rescue. M and Mme Klis were wonderful hosts and showed us round the whole property. They also left is with an ice cold bottle of wine and a couple of soft drinks for the kids - all very well received. *This was noted in the description, and did not cause us any problems :) The property was perfect for us (family of four - 2 X early 40s, an 8 year old and a 6 year old). It is obviously well looked after and was pristine. Even in the drought, the garden was stunning and a lovely setting for the numerous times we used the pool. There was plenty of shade outside and the house was cool, with fans in each room - the sheltered parking came in handy. We couldn't work out how to walk into the village, but it was a two minute drive. The Carrefour Connect was very well stocked (actually had better selection than the Super-U in nearby Fayence). But there is also a choice of boulangeries in town - we had a couple of breakfasts at Epi Voila, a boulangerie with tables outside. All Bagnol-en-Foret's restaurants are in a row - we particularly liked Le Bistrot (they have some stuff cooked over a wood fire). Fayence was beautiful (we visited the thrice-weekly market) and about 15 mins drive. We did St Tropez/Port Grimaud/Gassin and the beach at St Aygulf (good parking and lagoon type swimming). A surprise for us was the Lake at St Cassien. We spent a glorious day there, mucking about on pedalos and swimming (there was also significant shade which there wasn't when we went to the beach). Absolutely nothing to do with the house, but a final word to the wise. Some of the local roads are very narrow and twisty with steep drop-offs. Absolutely stunning driving, but be confident of the width of your car (especially if you're in a LH drive car as we were)! There are wider roads if you travel direct to Frejus and then head along the coast - if you're not a confident driver, plan your routes well.

Un endroit paisible en pleine nature, avec une piscine et un jardin arboré très agréables. Dans la maison toutes les commodités nécessaires sont présentes. En l'absence de clim nous avons gardé les volets fermés et utilisé les ventilateurs pour garder un intérieur pas trop chaud.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und das Haus ist sehr sauber. Alles ist vorhanden. Der Garten ist sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Alles sehr gepflegt. Nur die Lage ist nicht so gut. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit auch nur einen kleinen Spaziergang zu machen weil es sehr enge Straßen sind ohne Fußgänger Möglichkeit . Man muss also auf der Straße laufen. Auch die Straße ist sehr eng und kurvig. Die Fahrt zum Strand also abenteuerlich.

Belle maison spatieuse et entretenu interieur exterieur . tres belle piscine dommage que la.mer soit a 25mn car les routes sont tres labyrinthes . Tres bonne acceuil des propriétaires nous avons passer un excellent sejour la clim aurais ete appreciables par ces fortes chaleurs.

Sonne und Ruhe tanken

Die Vermieter empfingen uns sehr freundlich mit kalten Getränken und zeigten uns sehr ausführlich das Haus. Es war alles sehr gepflegt und hübsch eingerichtet. Der Garten mit seinem Pool trugen zur Erholung bei. Das Haus befindet sich etwas außerhalb des Dorfes in ruhiger Lage. Mit dem Auto erreicht man schnell einen Supermarkt. Allerdings sind die Straßen dort mit Vorsicht zu genießen. Viele Autofahrer fahren für die dortigen Strassenverhältnisse viel zu schnell. Fusswege gibt es nicht. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und würden auch wieder dieses Haus buchen. Für das zweite Schlafzimmer würden wir den Vermietern empfehlen auch Mückengitter zu installieren.

Wir verbrachten als Familie (6 Personen) einen wunderbaren Urlaub in diesem schönen Haus. Wir können dieses Objekt nur weiterempfehlen. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, es hat alles was man braucht. Den Pool haben wir sehr genossen, er war sauber und gepflegt. Das Haus ist zur Alleinnutzung, dazu gehört ein großzügiges, umzäuntes Grundstück, viele Pflanzen, Bäume, alles sehr gepflegt. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig. Ganz in der Nähe kann man alles nötige einkaufen, mit dem Auto war für uns auch das Meer schnell zu erreichen. Fréjus hat sehr schöne und saubere Sandstrände. Die Vermieter Frau und Herr Klis sind sehr nett und haben uns freundlich empfangen. Sie stehen während dem Aufenthalt für Fragen und Probleme jederzeit zur Verfügung. Herr Klis spricht auch Deutsch, was für uns sehr hilfreich war.

Wir haben leider nicht so tolle Erinnerungen von diesem Appartement. Leider wurden uns jegliche Informationen nicht mitgeteilt, wie zum Beispiel, dass dieses Gebäude auf der Spitze eines Berges ist. Hätten wir das früher gewusst, würden wir es niemals buchen, den das Hinfahren war eine Würde. Dann noch der Traktor jeden Tag. Wir wurden jeden Morgen von dem Traktorlärm geweckt und hatten somit keinen angenehmen Schlaf. Jedoch hatten die Gastgeber alles Nötige zur Verfügung, wozu wir auch sehr überzeugt waren aber es wäre nett uns diese ganzen nicht so tollen Informationen schon früher mitzuteilen!

wie man sich einen Urlaub vorstellt

Das Haus ist sehr schön. Es ist alles vorhanden was man für einen gelungen Urlaub benötigt. Fam. Klis hat uns sehr nett empfangen. Durch die Lage des Hauses sind alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreichbar. Wir werden unseren Urlaub hier wieder verbringen. Viele Grüße
