We had a great time at Cabin Run, the house was clean and as advertised! We enjoyed the property, the pond and our time in Potter County. Would definitely stay here again
Short trailered distance to Denton Hill Utv pilot program
Peace and quiet, Im a nurse and just wanted to get away from it! The fishing in the pond made our time hanging out at the cabin memorable, there are some big fish in there!
There is wifi, tv, blankets, pillows, sheets, towels, washclothes, firewood.
There is not a/c but there are fans, and the lower 2 bedrooms are nice and cool in the summer, our stay was Memorial Day weekend.
I loved that we could take our dogs with us too!

I can't say enough about Cabin Run!
My husband, our 2 dogs and 3 friends had so much fun.
The house is beautifully set back away from the main road making it like you were in the middle of nowhere, and we loved it. Carol is the BEST!!! We will be back!!! Thank you!!! Kathi, Jim, Chris, Hailey and Jeremy. Scarlet and Bob the dogs.
My children and i and our family dogs stayed for a long weekend. Much needed rest and need to get away from hustle and bustle. We enjoyed this place so much! So quiet and the property has so much to offer. Its 15 to 20 mins from Lyman Run- Cherry Springs and any market or town. I loved that! This place is very homey. The views during the day and night especially were breath taking!! We didnt even go to the park to star gaze.We stayed right on the property. Check in was easy. Carol came by to check on us to make sue all was well❤️and she left a batch of cookies for us. Such a great expierence! Im looking at renting here again next year as well. There is so much more to enjoy around there! We loved this trip! Thank youso much!!
Communication was great from the owners, very quick responding and offering information. The cookies were a nice touch! Very relaxing and just far enough off the beaten path. Fishing and boating in the pond were fun for all ages. Nice large living room to gather in and the dining room was great for meals. Can't say enough good things about this place and definitely hope to go back. Thanks for a great stay!

Logging Camp with no tv
We were not told until 1 week before our visit that there was a logging contractor on the property and also that the owners were not supplying basic tv. So, if you enjoy listening to chain saws and heavy equipment all day long on vacation, this is the place for you!
Another great year at Cabin Run. You can't beat the property, which you can explore for a full day without seeing it all. Carol is a fantastic property manager.
Location Location Location! Loved being off the grid! Relaxing Get-Away
This is a beautiful property in a stellar location! We really appreciated being able to bring our dogs & enjoying the outdoors.
I LOVED being unavailable to the world, in nature and listening to bullfrogs around the water!
For future visitors: bring your own music; we were listening to old records during our stay. No WiFi/TV/radio.
Room for improvement: if the pond was stocked with fish & the overwhelming smell of the musty place were gone, this would easily be a 5-star location that we would visit over & over again.
This was my families third time staying at this cabin. We always love the fact that we get to disconnect from the world for a couples day when we stay here, no internet or cell phone service just relaxing and spending time in nature. The children had a great time fishing in the pond and just spending time outside. We actually took a trip over to Cherry Springs one night to see the stars and another trip over to Benezette to see the elk, both trips did not disappoint, definitely recommend doing that while staying here. Thanks again for another great getaway at Cabin Run, I'm sure we will be back again!
This is a nice place. Very homey and large. The grounds are spectacular…once you get there. When we arrived in July, 2021, the road to the property was extremely muddy and difficult to navigate. Someone is building in the woods above this property, leaving the shared road a mess. Also, starting at about 8 am, there was LOTS of noise emanating rom the tractors and construction vehicles. So much for the idyllic silence. Fortunately it lasted only a few hours. It should also be noted that there is a large TV, but the satellite reception wasn’t working. When we called the information line to find out how to get it working, we were told she was just the housekeeper and didn’t know. No other assistance was offered. I suggest you bring dvd’s or download movies on your devices, since it gets pretty quiet at night.

Didn’t enjoy our stay
No air conditioning in humid pa
Road wasnt maintained-large ruts in gravel road need suv to get up it
Tv didn’t work
No internet
Will not recommend to others
If you're looking to get away from technology this is the place for you. No wifi or tv & spotty phone service. Carol, the host was wonderful and very helpful with answering my questions.
Property is secluded with a small pond which is great for kids and dogs to swim and play in. The deck and balcony was perfect to sit out on and enjoy the sunrise or sunset or just relax with a book. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked. Also not far to the Parks and grocery store and restaurants. Would suggest bringing games, DVD's or books for entertainment on stormy days or nights. Also downloading or printing out menus of restaurants if planning on eating out as well as the trail maps from alltrails. Overall wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.

This place is definitely secluded with it's own pond. We loved it! The place is huge with 3 levels. It's not brand new, but perfect for the setting. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.
This is our second visit. We happened to hit it when the leaves were changing and it was beautiful. There is a trail out of the back yard that is great for hiking. The property is older and might benefit from some changes, but we would definitely go again!!
Very secluded if you are looking to put away cell phones, I pads, and disconnect from the electronic world and just enjoy nature and family this is the place:
