Though we had an initial challenge checking in, the rest of our 14 day stay was fantastic! Nice property, wonderful pool, great central location! A wonderful vacation.

Pros: the house was clean and beautiful. Great safe neighborhood. Cons: neighbor building a pool, daytime noise level was extreme with heavy equipment digging all day directly next door. Host should have given a heads up or offered a discounted rate or let us choose a different home. This kept us from enjoying the lanai or pool except in the late evenings. The outdoor spaces were a lot of the reason we picked this house. AC in one bedroom was not working. I communicated by calling and messaging immediately. They sent someone out when we weren’t there and we were told it was fixed. Came home to a hot bedroom again. Host argued with me about it, told me to give it a bit. Next morning still 85 degrees in that bedroom. Called them again. The young lady acted like she didn’t know what bedroom I was talking about. It’s the only bedroom with French doors leading outside not sure how else I could’ve described it? It was never addressed in six nights. We gave up because I was spending lots of vacation time communicating to different people about the issue. They did offer a small discount on the last day after I told them this review would suffer and only after I said those exact words did they try to do anything to soften the stay. We paid a lot of money as a splurge to stay in this beautiful house! I have rarely ever left a negative review and I do believe once the construction is finished next door and the Ac is repaired you could have an enjoyable stay here. Aloha!

Quiet Neighborhood

We enjoyed this house for the 10 days our family spent in Kona. The pool Is not heated but felt good after being in the hot sun. Highly recommend this house to families. Will look at booking this place in the future!

Wonderful home

Beautiful property with designer island furnishings, stocked kitchen, great salt-water pool, perfect location in a gated upscale neighborhood. Property was perfect for our family of six.

Beautiful property

We had a wonderful two week stay. The pool was fantastic. Swam nearly every day. Plenty of comfortable furniture outdoors on lanai to just hang out and relax. A welcome relief from a brutal Alaskan winter for us.

Great Vacation Home

The house is just as pictured. Very clean, well stocked with all the things one could need, and in a quiet neighborhood. Very close to amenities and activities. The outdoor space is a great place to chill and the pool was AMAZING!! The Hosts left us thoughtful local gifts to enjoy and the gardeners brought us the BEST fresh picked bananas! We enjoyed our stay!

A WEEK'S STAY AT HOLUALOA

We loved our stay at this beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The grounds are quite spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. Well located close to town. Our only criticism is the barbecue was useable for our needs. Other than that we would definitely stay here again.

5/5 Stars – Amazing Stay!

We had an incredible time staying at this beautiful home! The location was perfect—close to beaches, restaurants, and everything we wanted to explore. It made getting around super easy. The house was extremely clean and very lush and gorgeous. Everything was comfortable and well-equipped, making it feel like a home away from home. We loved waking up to the tropical surroundings and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Hawaii!

Property was fantastic, especially the outdoor space. Kids loved playing in the yard and the pool. Beautiful neighborhood, we loved going for walks in the evening to view the sunsets over the ocean. Good central location on the west side of the island. Would love to visit again.

Great place for our family!

We joined our son and his family for their Spring Break in Kailua-Kona for a week. The house was wonderful - it was clean, well-equipped, comfortable and in a great location! David, the concierge, was really helpful and aanswered any questions promptly. The pool was big and there were toys, floaties, etc that entertained our grand children for hours! Thank you! It was a great vacation. :-)
