3) Access to Lake Sammamish via several spots: State Sammamish boat launch is 1 mile south. Lake Sammamish State Park is 2 miles south. Sammamish Landings Waterfront Park/day dock is about 5 mins. drive north.
4) Pine Lake Park is another popular swimming area, 2 miles east of the house.

This is a gorgeous, well appointed apartment, enhanced by spotless cleanliness and a huge deck with spectacular lake and wooded hill views.We would stay here again for any trip to the Seattle area. It’s located about 30 minutes to downtown Seattle and the SEA-TAC airport.

We were all very impressed with The Boathouse rental. Lovely views, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a great location! The home even had great sound proofing, very quiet! Beautiful lake view on the trail

We love the boathouse! Lots of sun and beautiful view upstairs. The house itself is well outfitted, cute decor and comfy beds. Really convenient for walking our dog as the trail runs right by the house. And Lisa was super communicative and helpful.

We stayed here with our adult children and three grandchildren while we were in Washington for a family birthday party. Owners have lived in the area since 1994 and have remodeled several houses and offer 4 on the eastside plus Maui, Alaska and Whistler Canada homes for rent. This diamond-in-the-rough estate property offered 2 homes and a chance to bring them from 1980's 'chic' into the 21st century with just a hint of nautical kitsch.

Why they chose this property

This combination boathouse/lake view home sits behind a larger lakefront home on a 1/2 acre lot. The 2 homes are eparated by hedges and a large garden area so guests have complete privacy. Listed in vrbo Bellevue (more people familiar with that area) but we are actually located on East Lake Sammamish Parkway, in the city of Sammamish at the south end, close to Issaquah. So easy access to Interstate 90.

What makes this property unique

Tons of natural light, sunsets and constantly changing sky and water colors. Eagles, falcons frequent the area. Trail that follows all along the east side of Lake Sammamish is accessible just 100 feet from guests' front door. Same trail takes you to Sammamish State Park boat launch or venture further on into Issaquah where you can grab lunch, hot coffee or ice cream.
