Going back in time

Accessing this place was an experience. We went up a rickety 17th staircase into the apartment where we felt liken we’d gone back in time to the 1980s. With the exception of the bathroom, everything looked and felt tired, grubby and musty - particularly the kitchen. And yet it was well equipped and everything worked perfectly - even the ancient electric coffee-maker.Whatever its shortcomings, the apartment is in the fascinating old town; it is spacious and it does have a small balcony. And it’s there that we would sit and have a glass of wine and watch a seagull turn up on an adjacent window ledge every evening about 7.30pm where a lady would open her window and feed it. It’s that kind of place

Vraiment déçu du logement

Ça nous a pris plus 15 min pour trouver le logement enfin a notre arrivée on n'a du monté une petite escalier en très mauvais état, une des marche est cassé on peut très facilement tomber. l'intérieur très ancien sol abîmé qui demande une vrai restauration et aussi un ménage très mal fait plein de poussière, toile d'araignée et du sable. Pas de connexion wifi ni de réseau. Pas de produit a disposition pour le lave vaisselle. Enfin a notre départ le propriétaire nous a réclamé de l'argent un total de 48€ pour les charges choses que j'ai pas vu sur l'annonce quand on lui a demandé des explications elle nous a répondu que c'était par qu'elle fait moins cher la nuit c'est pour se la qu'elle fait payé les charges.

L'appartement est idéalement placé, dans la ville haute très calme. La première déception a été la propreté assez relative de l'endroit, frustrante au regard de la provision demandée pour que le ménage soit fait... Je déplore par ailleurs l'inexactitude de la description de l'annonce, qui nous a pas mal compliqué la vie sur place. Il n'y avait pas le wifi (nous avons dû gérer l'installation de la box après avoir insisté lourdement pour qu'elle soit installée, le wifi se révélant d'autant plus utile qu'il n'y a aucun réseau téléphonique ou 4G dans l'appartement), pas de sèche-cheveux, pas le fond de cuisine indiqué, un appareil pour écouter de la musique dont le cordon est perdu... Pour le reste (tentative de nous faire payer l'eau et l'électricité (et ceci alors qu'un déshumidificateur électrique tournait sans relâche dans la salle de bains à notre arrivée ), en plus du prix de la location, prix au demeurant assez élevé pour les prestations proposées, indications par sms du type "voyez avec Philippe le buraliste" pour savoir où sortir les poubelles, vagues instructions pour changer la bouteille de gaz qui a lâché le lendemain de notre arrivée, store cassé dans une chambre dont la propriétaire nous a dit qu'elle viendrait le réparer - ce qui n'est jamais arrivé), nous avons préféré mettre cela sur le compte de l'inorganisation, voire de la très grande distraction de notre propriétaire, qui s'appelait Nicole dans nos échanges par mail et Aurélie dans nos discussions avec son père, venu à notre rescousse pour le changement de la bouteille de gaz... Tout cela nous a laissé un grand sentiment de confusion générale. Nous avons quitté l'appartement seuls, laissant les clés dans la boîte aux lettres, sans aucun état des lieux fait. Dommage...
