Paradise inside and out! The elegant B314 is an elevator ride up to the third floor of the Maui Sunset, where you'll enjoy breathtaking ocean views right outside your window. The warm Hawaiian shore nestles directly against the Maui Sunset greenbelt, with beautiful landscaping, and the largest pool in Kihei. Convenient Aloha hospitality is found at the Maui Sunset poolside Activity Reservation center -- for a wide variety of activities to experience while in Hawaii. Inside this third story condo: new custom tile, marble countertops, all new appliances, new furniture, mediterranean shower tiling, and balcony lanai table setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The unit comes standard with local cable, wide screen T.V., stereo, phone, washer/dryer, and free wifi access. A beautiful cherry wood cabinet with built-in desk adds a touch of function for your computer/workspace. As well, our condo has a spacious 1 bedroom unit has two queen beds: 1 in the bedroom, and 1 custom built sofa sleeper to comfortably accommodate either 4 occupants or a couple for a private vacation. The bedroom has an attached bath, and the second bath is located in the main hallway near the living room. From this condo, visitors report seeing whales splashing and playing in the ocean. A little slice of paradise

We had a wonderful stay. The beautiful place was fully stocked, and had everything we needed to comfortably stay for the week or more. The pool, hot tub, view and all the other comforts were amazing and perfect. Wwilwdefinitely book again!

10th Anniversary at Kihei

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at this beautiful property that has a manicured grounds with lots of palm trees. We loved the ocean view, listening to birds early in the morning and sunsets. We would certainly stay here again.

This is a great place to stay!

We love Maui Sunset. We love this side of the condo. Third floor is great. There's a great view, the lanai is wonderful, and everything else is just top notch. Marty went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable, safe, and enjoyable. Absolutely perfect.

Maui Sunset condo on the beach was a perfect place and central location. Updated and very clean with all the amenities needed for a relaxing beach vacation. Owner was quick to respond to questions and made our stay wonderful. The sunrise outside of the front door was beautiful and the furnishings were high quality and were well taken care of. Plenty of beach coolers, chairs, towel etc.

At Home in Maui

This was our first visit to Maui and from the time we walked through the condo door to strains of Hawaiian music we felt right at home. The owners have thoughtfully decorated and stocked the condo with everything you’ll need from flickering candles to beach chairs. The location was central for all the activities we wanted to do. Mahalo for making our stay memorable.

Remodeled and a nice place and easy location to bus, shopping, restaurants, etc. Helpful to have a car, no charge for parking. Room is very nice with all amenities, well planned out and organized. Be aware that the master bed is a queen size.

Just like home

Upon entrance it was beautifully decorated, clean, and fresh flowers was such a sweet bonus. The view was spectacular from the balcony, even just sitting in the living room. The condo was well supplied, much more than I would ever expect. I truly appreciated it. The location was great for sightseeing and running! A perfect place for a much needed vacation. Wonderful Maui Condo!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Maui Sunset! It was a great location in Kihei fairly close to food and many beaches. The condo itself was clean and well stocked (towels, kitchen supplies/utensils, beach things, coolers, etc.), with a nice deck viewing the ocean. The property was comfortable and well kept. We enjoyed the outdoor live music on Wednesday night, availability of concierge, well kept grounds (pool, grills, outdoor games, gym, etc.), and the close beach access. Check in and check out was easy (though the office is closed on the weekends). We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property!

Wonderful stay at Maui Sunset

This is a lovely condo in the Maui Sunset community (2-buildings) with direct access to a beautiful open space and a lovely beach. The property also has a swimming pool/hot tub, tennis courts, BBQs, etc. The condo owners have thought of everything - the kitchen is fully stocked with teapot, coffee makers, toaster, blender, etc., pots and pans, cookie sheets, tons of utensils, washer/dryer, ziplock bags for packing up your lunches/snacks for excursion, detergent and cleaning supplies, beach towels, beach chairs and sun umbrellas, coolers, beach cart, boogie boards, beach toys, books and games, and so much more! It was very comfortable for our family of 3 - kiddo slept on the pull-out sofa and said he thought it was super comfy. The balcony/lanai has a wonderful view of the ocean and the sunset views are even better than the listing photo. There is a table for four outside on the balcony but only two kitchen counter stools inside - we generally ate outside except for one night when it was exceptionally windy. The property is very close to groceries and restaurants in Kihei -- easy to pop over via car or walk/bike over. The property also provides carts for owners/visitors to haul their stuff upstairs, and there is an in-person concierge at the pool who can help with booking activities if needed. We enjoyed a very relaxing week on Maui and would definitely consider coming back to this part of the island.

Amazing views

At the beginning the unit wasn’t ready for us until about 5:20p. No biggie went for our first walk. We ended up seeing 3 turtles swimming along. The complex is well maintained. Even though the unit is close to the pool and activities, there was never a time the excitement of others was bothersome. The unit is stocked with everything that you may need. Bathroom supplies, kitchen supplies, bedroom pillows and blankets, games and books galore. As a hint, if the unit gets warm start the AC in the living room and put the tower fan next to it. Once we did that the unit stayed cool and refreshing. We tried to use the strong trade winds it just unfortunately wasn’t blowing in the right direction. When we come back and if we choose to stay in Kihei this will be our home away from home again. Thank you for opening up this unit for others. It really help having a beautiful space to come home to each day.

Not as Perfect as the Reviews Suggest

We were drawn to this property because of its perfect reviews, though I usually take such things with a grain of salt. I hope this helps future guests and offers the host some constructive feedback.The location is convenient, and the property is well-equipped. However, the on-site beach is rocky, so you’ll likely want to drive to better ones.The host was communicative, but we had some issues. The living room AC barely worked, even after a temporary fix (maintenance said it needed replacement), and we experienced a leak from the upstairs bathroom into our bedroom.Marty was quite insistent that we wash towels before checkout—even though a cleaning fee was included—which felt unreasonable. He explained his washer/dryer was small, but a commercial laundry service would be a better solution. That said, we appreciated the free late checkout.

Why they chose this property

Our first trip to Hawaii was in 1979. Since then, the islands keep calling us back! We are proud to make the Maui Sunset one of our newest homes -- a home away from home, here on the beautiful island of Maui.

What makes this property unique

Each time we stay here at the Maui Sunset, it is not only visually spectacular and restful, but its amenities make it extra convenient. Whatever activities desired on the island, all are explained and arranged through some of the most congenial specialists -- right here, at our onsite pool each morning at 9am! We also appreciate the consistent quiet atmosphere our unit and its community maintains. B314 at the Maui Sunset is our little foretaste of heaven, and we try to make it the same for you! Mahalo!
