The cabin is very nice and located in a great location which allows opportunities to explore the area. The Saint George peninsula has many places to visit. Owls Head and Marshall Point lighthouses, Owls Head Transportation Museum, Port Clyde for beautiful sunsets and a ferry to Monhegan Island. We got delicious German food at The Happy Clam and the best lobster roll ever at McLoons Lobster Shack on Spruce Head island. The cabin is good for 2 adults or a small family and has a great screen porch. We did find there was too much in the kitchen cupboards, way more than 4 people need to cook and little room for the tenants. The bathroom and kitchen could use a good cleaning. The host was readily available and immediately took care of a minor shower issue. Over all we had a good stay.
This was our third time staying in the area and our first time in this cabin. We felt it was very cozy and accommodating for our family of four. We enjoyed using the fireplace and making meals in the kitchen. It feels very secluded at night and is extremely quiet. It’s also very convenient to tenants Harbor and Port Clyde.
I always enjoys staying at the cabin. It is clean, quiet and very private. The hosts are wonderful and very accomodating. Many thanks to Marilyn, Nicole and Del.
A surprisingly nice and quiet location. Surrounded by trees so you are unable to see the nearby lot with old vehicles. The house was stocked with all the basic necessities you would need for a home away from home. Basement was clean but a bit musty so we were unable to use the comfortable sleeper sofa as an extra sleeping area for a group of 6. As expected from a log cabin it is easy to wake up other guests so you have to walk lightly. In July the weather was great so we were able to use the covered porch as a sleeping area even during a heavy rain storm. We enjoyed a picnic in the backyard with a gas grill and a fire ring in the front yard at night. We were very happy with the cabin and it suited our needs for exploring the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin in the woods. Very private we had our two dogs with us and it was a great location. Only a mile to the beach plenty to do see and plenty of places to eat.

My husband and I spent our thanksgiving at this beautiful cabin. Would highly recommend!!
This is just what we were looking for - a comfortable place close to the water and hiking! We brought our dogs and enjoyed hiking and other activities close by. The cabin was comfortable and was a nice place for us to hang out at night as a family after spending the days exploring! We would love to come back! Great spot!

Lovely stay
Cabin had everything one could possibly need. Very comfortable queen bed. Listing should mention air conditioning in the queen bedroom.
Greeted with a fresh bouquet of wild flowers and a bowl of sweets. Great screen porch for relaxing outside without the bugs. The location made it easy to explore the area.
This is the second time we stayed there, enjoyed it both times and wouldn’t hesitate to return.
I looked for a place to stay with many amenities & peacefulness, log cabin experience, perfection for exploring the coastline of ME, lighthouses, restaurants, some days of just relaxation. We were able to get up from Port Clyde to Bar Harbor areas, visiting many towns in between using our chosen place as beginning/end point each day of the day trips we took.
We had a lovely time. Quick check in w key box. Comfortable beds; well-stocked kitchen and lovely things to eat left to welcome us. Once shower; lots of towels. Everything we needed was there and all was made very easy. Thank you.
