This cabin has two queen beds; one downstairs & one in a large loft. The cabin sleeps up to 5 Adults. It has: • Full Bath • Heat and Air • Full Kitchen • Microwave • Washer/Dryer • Flat screen TV w/ Dish Network • 1 DVD/CD Player • Park Grill and Fire Pit • Covered Back Porch, with breakfast nook • Handicap Access Ramp.

Cumberland Plateau Cabins have all the amenities for your convenience: pots, pans, silverware, towels and linens are all there on your arrival. We accept pets with a $50 fee for up to two pets per visit plus tax. Additional pet is $25 per pet if approved.

Wonderful experience

This is my second time staying at this location, it was just as wonderful as the first time. Even better they added a man-made lake! Perfect getaway if you’re looking for a quiet well kept cabin with no worries!

We love coming back to our fav cabin & solitude retreat!!! AND of course we can't forget our stay with the Mascot Cat, Sunny!!! Spent a relaxing afternoon on the awesome deck at the lake enjoying the beautiful swings & sunshine!! Thank you Sheryl for making my bday trip a fantastic stay!

Geat location close to Fall Creek Falls for a relaxing and peaceful weekend getaway. Cabin was nicely furnished and clean, very private feel with great place for fire after dark!

We loved it!

The cabin is well laid out, clean, and comfortable! I’m picky about cleanliness, and I was so comfortable here. The grounds are incredible. We loved walking to the lake and just overall enjoying the outdoors. The fire pit with SWINGS was my favorite. Fall Creek Falls is super close just as stated. I highly recommend the Hickory Springs cabin! Thanks Jim!

Cumberland Retreat

Beautiful, peaceful cabin in a scenic wooded area. Close to several waterfalls & walking trails. Host met us at the property and explained working details of the cabin. Very comfortable and very affordable!

Amazing Stay

The place was great! This cabin is the most private but all of them were nice, quiet private and it was wooded and gorgeous scenery and relaxing, pictures are exact accurate description of property and the property manager and owner were so kind and greeted us to say hello and give some info about the property and the rest of the time we wouldn’t have even known anyone was around! We would definitely come back again, we were obly about 15 minutes from the Falls state park which was a great place to visit thank you! 😊

Cabin trip

This cabin was amazing. It was everything my neighbor said it was and then some. It was very easy to find and the Host Cheryl was super sweet in coming over to introduce herself and make sure we were comfortable and let us know not to hesitate to reach out if we needed anything. The cabin had everything you would need! Will definitely stay there again. Was also very close to fall creek falls.

HATE TO LEAVE THIS PLACE!

This is our 2nd time here & we LOVE IT! It's a BEAUTIFUL place to visit & it surely is a peaceful retreat atmosphere!!! We love Jim & Sheryl! Couldn't ask for better host!! The hardest part for me is leaving the scenery BUT most of all, leaving Sunny (the resident mascot-CAT!). We can't wait to come back soon!!! Fantastic Experience

My partner and dogs stayed here over Thanksgiving and loved it. Very warm, cozy cabin with Wifi and Dish TV. Fully functional kitchen, nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Firepit was easily accessible as were the woods where we could walk around. The property manager was friendly and easy to reach as well. Great experience all around!

Beautiful cabin for a week of hiking to water falls

Cabin was just right for 2 of us and our Beagle. Cozy and warm even with a cold snap. Enjoyed the woods and visiting deer outside the back porch. Property manager was quick to respond when we needed a porch light replaced. The location is perfect as a central location to visit state parks with cliffs, gorges and waterfalls.

As a 2004 retiree and needing something to occupy my time I decided to open a cabin rental business. This occurred after winding up with more cabins than I could use at one time. Since then we have added additional features and at least two additional cabins to create a more complete offering of choices to our customers.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the area several years ago while passing through on the way from GA to KY. Since originally being from TN, the Cumberland Plateau seemed to offer all the serenity and beauty I was looking for.

What makes this property unique

The quite and beauty of the Cumberland Plateau is a natural attraction and is what brought us here in the beginning. To be able to enjoy all it has to offer on a continuous basis is amazing.
