Foggy Mountain Cabin is the perfect getaway for a romantic weekend or a vacation with the children. This 2 1/2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with a hot tub is very well appointed and is nestled in a quiet gated community with all the amenities. A very well stocked kitchen, large deck area, and outside fire pit are just a few items that you are sure to enjoy at this cute and cozy cabin. Living room and bedrooms all have TV's.
To cool off on a hot summer day, be sure to visit Fall Creek Falls State Park and their Olympic-sized pool with children’s wading pool, bathhouses and a snack bar. Lifeguards on Duty. Open 10am-5:30pm June/July Daily – August Weekends Only - $6 pp, per day; children 2 and under free. Beautiful Fall Creek Falls State Park is also home to 21 waterfalls, 4 suspension bridges, lakes, and hiking trails. Other hiking favorites are: Savage Falls, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, Virgin Falls and more. There are also multiple local fishing spots, backroads and walking trails to explore. Other notable attractions are: Bone's Cave (16 mi), Cumberland Caverns (18mi), Falcon's Rest (20 mi), and Rock Island State Park (22 mi).

Great location

Our family had a great stay. Less than 10 minutes from Fall Creek Falls State Park and about 50 minutes from Rock Island State Park. The house had everything we needed and the hot tub was wonderful after hiking all day!

Bed covers stunk. Dusty. Cobwebs everywhere. Mold in the shower and on shower curtains. Musky stink throughout the house.

Relaxing disconnect

This weekend, my wife and a couple of friends stayed at the cabin. It was a great place to go and disconnect from the normal day-to-day grind. It was a place where you can go and relax and rest. We will definitely be going back again and would recommend for others to go too.

Peaceful and relaxing

We chose this for the proximity to Fall Creek Falls and was not disappointed. Very relaxing countryside setting where you have a bit of space between homes. Great open floorplan. Did not use fireplace or spa but both are a nice touch to this place. When not exploring, we enjoyed our downtime here. We will definitely return!

Great place to rest and relax

The cabin is spacious and clean. It is well-furnished and comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking, including a pizza stone with a serving rack. The area is quiet and peaceful. There are a few things to note:1) lack of pantry space. We stayed for a few days and when unpacking noticed all of the cabinets were full and had to store our dry goods on the counter and shelf on the wall of the dining area. It is a personal thing for me as it made the space feel cluttered.2) Blinds in the bedroom let in light. It was hard to sleep as lights from the neighboring houses still came in at night. I ended up putting a blanket over the headboard to block out the light. It also made me question the privacy of the blinds, if I could see out, could others see in.3) Lastly, in the winter there is no privacy on the deck due to the trees being bare. Nothing that can be controlled but something guests should be aware of when using the hot tub and back deck.Overall this pace was great. There were just a few minor things that stood out. Will we stay in the particular cabin again? Maybe, maybe not but we WILL check out others from this owner. They were attentive and great to work with throughout our entire stay.

Wonderful time

It's a beautiful place to stay. I would love to stay again. The only complaint I have is the solar power lights was not working. The walkway is very dark.
