Nice cabin that sleeps 6 comfortably. Quiet relaxing setting. Clean on arrival. Peaceful walking trail down to the lake. We enjoyed our stay while we visited Fall Creek Falls State Park.
Lofts/beds were very dusty. Had to spend time dusting the ceiling and putting all the bedding back through the dryer before bed the first night. Gave my kids a cough after the first night. The lofts were super fun, the downstairs was clean. Just the dust was out of control. Loved the screened in porch.
We loved our stay here We had teenagers with us that also loved there stay The most fun afternoon was the firepit and having hotdogs and s’mores roasted outside We saw beautiful waterfalls and scenery
Very nice, comfortable cabins tucked away on the Cumberland Plateau just a few miles from Fall Creek Falls TN State Park. I have stayed here several times while working in the area and I always love it. Will plan to return again soon.
Second time I've stayed here and it has been fantastic both times. I come through the area for field work in remote locations and these cabins are a great place to stay. Easy to get settled in, cook dinner and breakfast, and take off for another day of exploring. Highly recommended!
This was the perfect getaway! Quiet, close to parks and the owner and manager were friendly and helpful. I wish we had found this place sooner. Will definitely be staying here on future trips!
Ver cozy cabin exactly as represented on vrbo. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch in the mornings while watching the dear, and enjoyed the campfire at night. Very quiet and comfortable, and close to both fall creek falls and rock island. Loved this place.
We enjoyed our stay here in the Twin Oaks cabin. It was stocked with everything we needed. The kids enjoyed having their own lofts! We liked walking to the pond and having our own firepit with wood provided. It was a perfect fit for us.
I have stayed here before and I always keep coming back. It’s located so close to the Falls and is always clean and the owner is very responsive to any requests or concerns. I will be back!
Great location, wonderful owner, Manager and mascot (sweet kitty named Sunny). The cabin was quiet, cozy and clean. Hope to return, many hiking trails in the area still to conquer.
This cabin is one of several in a group called the "Cumberland Plateau Retreat." It was comfortable, well-equipped, and convenient to Fall Creek Falls State Park, which I visited during this trip. Because of the cold temperatures, (43 degrees or lower), the well-kept screened porch and outdoor seating were not as useful as they would be under better weather conditions.
As described very quiet setting in a small group of 3 other cabins. Cabin has everything you need and a nice outdoor space with large swings, a nice fireplace and plenty of free wood for s’mores.
Kids loved the loft, fire pit and kitty! Very nice piece of land cabins are on. Owner on site if you have any issues. Great location close to the state park!
Property owner Jim and manager Cheryl were very attentive and helpful during our stay. Jim pointed out a couple of easy hiking trail on the property which we really enjoyed hiking as did our little dog.

About the host
Hosted by James M Campbell
Retired in 2004, I needed something to do to occupy my time. Since originally being from TN, and owning several acres on the Cumberland Plateau, it seemed only natural that I would eventually return to my home state. Renting vacation cabins came purely as a coincidence after buying out an ol' Navy buddy and winding up with more cabins than I could use. Since I enjoy meeting and talking to different people, this seemed to be a perfect fit for that passion.
Why they chose this property
I bought this property several years ago after passing through the area on trips to my mom's place in KY. Since the Cumberland Plateau area offered such serenity and beauty it seemed only natural that I would wind up owning property here.
What makes this property unique
The quiet and beauty of this area is what attracted us here in the first place. To be able to actually own property here on the Cumberland Plateau and be able to enjoy its beauty year round is a true blessing.
