The Idle Hour cabin is a year round rental, fully furnished and outfitted for convenience and comfort. The cabin sleeps 4 with 2 bedrooms. It does have a sectional couch in the living room for sleeping also. You will enjoy the fully furnished kitchen with microwave, stove, and refrigerator with icemaker. The lower level is a fully screened in gathering room with a wet bar and a full size refrigerator. The half bathroom on the lower level includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. The Idle hour has front and rear decks, with a charcoal grill, and a campfire pit. Located 12 miles south of Prairie du Chien, WI the Idle Hour is 1 block from the general store and 2 blocks from the boat landing the River of Lakes Resort. ( Come fish the mighty Mississippi or take advantage of the variety of outdoor and water recreational opportunities. The Idle Hour has something for everyone.

Great place to stay in River of Lakes resort area. The internet worked great! Comfortable beds. Good supply of cooking utensils. Lots of spices to cook with. The decks are awesome, and the downstairs screened in porch with fridge is perfect when it gets buggy. The living room is very cozy with the big screen TV. Feels like home!

There were no surprises. Everything was exactly as represented. The host was very accommodating and pleasant. The area is gorgeous! Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. But we definitely plan on coming back!

This was our first time in the Bagley area and it did not disappoint. We were very happy with the location and the cabin. The cabin was stocked very well and was very comfortable for our two couples. When we visit the area again we will definitely try and reserve this cabin again!

The screened-in porch downstairs was exactly what we were looking for and it was perfect…no bugs, great seating, full sized fridge, charcoal grill, bathroom, & fun colored rope lighting! Location to bar/grocery store & beach area was nice bonus too!

Great place to stay near the Mississippi River

This place was perfect for us (4 adults and 2 kids). Very comfortable, nice living room area upstairs, well stocked, very convenient to the river and fishing. We panfish and caught a lot of fish, had the area almost to ourselves (early October). About 25 minutes south of Prairie du Chien.

The cabin was great. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. The location was quiet and comfortable. They have made several updates since our last visit. The new shower and living room sectional are welcome changes. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful time. Everybody was friendly ,and the store had everything you needed. Enjoyed the sunsets and fishing. We went to jays landing bagley bottoms and wylusing landing. . The bass were biting. Crappie, lots of fun.

Sisters trip.

We loved this place. The bar area with screened in room was great! We are already talking about staying here again! The only thing I could say bad was the lighting in the kitchen could be brighter. But certainly not a deal breaker! Highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I, along with our 17&19 yr old kids loved our 2 day stay at this cute cabin, it was clean, smelled fresh, was decorated nicely had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed playing trivia games and cribbage in the evenings after exploring nearby Wyalusing State Park all day. It was in a friendly neighborhood. The hosts were responsive and super nice. Thanks for everything!

From the description I thought we would have 2 full bathrooms with showers in both. Dust on lamps and cobwebs in kitchen cabinets. Overall stay was good!
