Hey there, I’m so glad you enjoyed your time here! I’m actually just seeing some of these reviews, because we were traveling ourselves and I haven’t been too focused on it. But I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! It means a lot. I would love to have you back anytime.
All the best to you!
We loved the location and absolute charm of our stay. It was a great home base for our girl’s getaway. We were surprised that one of the listed queen beds was actually an air mattress. We had to adjust our sleeping arrangements, but we made it work. Overall it was a great stay.

Hey there, I’m so glad that you enjoyed everything! It is very kind of you to take the time to leave us this nice review. It helps us a lot. I really appreciate you taking such good care of everything also and wanted to let you know that we would love to have you back anytime.
First, this home is on the historic register and you must realize that comes with squeaks and groans from old age. The plumbing and electrical systems have all been upscaled and the home has "Great Bones". Truly a pleasure to stay there , even had their own resident pair of rabbits, one of which greeted us every time we went out. Fantastic location as you were within 2-3 blocks of probably 20 restaurants and/or bars. You literally can spend a week without getting in your car. Owners were very responsive and professional. Highly recommend!

Hey there Bob, I’m so glad that you enjoyed everything! There’s been rabbit families in the yard since we bought the place about 13 years ago before we even renovated it or anything. Anyway I wanted to thank you for taking the time to review us. And thanks for the nice words! It’s nice to have someone that appreciates having a house that’s antique yet fully modernized. It was a pleasure communicating with you and I’d love to have you back anytime. Thanks again for the review!
We LOVED this house. It's a must stay. Easy to lots of cool places in West Asheville area. We made the easy walk to grocery store (all sidewalk) to buy what we wanted to cook during our stay.Highly recommend and we will come back to stay.
The home is beautifully restored; the beds and linens are top notch. The master suite is private and spacious. We didn't cook on our long weekend, but the kitchen was well appointed. We appreciated the owner's restaurant recommendations and tried many of the ones within walking distance

The property was beautiful and immaculate. Mitch was a very good host , thank you for all the tips on where to eat and things to do . We used many of them . The property was so accessible to a lot of his suggestions .The kitchen had everything we needed and more . We had two vehicles so parking was a little tight but manageable .It was listed as four bedrooms but technically there were only three . The fourth was a blow up mattress that was used in the front parlor . It was not a problem for us as we slept on it and it was extremely comfortable .Just wanted to let you know there may be a slow leak in the blowup, we had to add air each night , which was not an issue , just wanted you to know . I will definitely recommend this house to friends and would rebook if I ever return to the Asheville area .Thank you again for sharing your beautiful historic home.

Hey there, i’m sure glad that you enjoyed your stay! And I appreciate you taking the time to leave this wonderful review. It is a four bedroom house, we just converted one to a parlor because I thought it would be nice to have a separate private living room, and we really wanted to put the power leather recliner in there. I’m sorry you had issues with the mattress. I actually think it’s because it was brand new. It’s a super high-quality mattress, but instructions say when it’s new it stretches out a bit and it feels like it’s losing air. Anyway we inspected it and I couldn’t find a leak. Anyway I think we may be getting a super comfortable sleeper sofa to go in there instead that way I can still have the versatility as a second living room. So if you ever come back, and we’d definitely love to have you! Ask me about it.
Again I’m really glad that you enjoyed everything, and thanks again!
Amazing experience! I rented this beautiful home for the weekend as a Christmas present for my parents. To call this home beautiful is an understatement! Chalked full of history and charm. The owners have done a great job and you can feel the love and intention that has been poured into it. I encourage everyone to read the history on this home because it is fascinating. The host was communicative and great to work with. 10/10 experience. We plan to come back soon!

The property is lovely and well cared for by a responsive host. We’ve stayed twice with various friends and all agree that it’s the best option for staying close to everything with the comfort of feeling like you’re home.
The house was the perfect place for a family getaway for my grown children and infant grandchildren. The layout was great for the family and the house was very nice and well stocked. The location was convenient to everywhere. We would definitely rent it again.
What a delightful home. Was a wonderful size for a family of 4 with a dog. It is very close to everything. I highly recommend this home. However, if traveling with a dog the yard is not completely fenced where you can let your dog roam on own and fence is not high - a midsize dog could jump over. You MUST have dog on leash at all times. But house is dog friendly. Had a lovely stay. Thank you.

Thank you for staying, and for taking the time to review us. I would like to clarify in case anyone sees this that the yard is 100% fenced. The driveway gate just needs to be closed after entering. Most of the back and sides are done in taller privacy fence, around the front Is a scalloped picket fence, as in the photos. I’m sorry if you didn’t notice the gate.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts!
All the best!
Mitch
This is a cool old house. It's comfortable and was pretty convenient for everywhere we wanted to go. I would say the listing is a little misleading - it is only fully fenced if you close the front gate and another gate that goes to the house behind, but that isn't really doable because of that other house, which shares the driveway.

I’m so glad that you enjoyed your stay! I’m sorry that you were worried about the fence. I wish you would have asked me, because there is a quiet, responsible and respectful lady living in the property to the rear, and she knows to keep the gate closed at all times. Anyway, thank you for staying and again I’m glad that you enjoyed your stay!
The house is beautiful, clean, and in a great location. It has a nice large backyard and well outfitted kitchen. The owners are responsive and helpful.
House was amazing and so well appointed! Owners were so helpful and accommodating. They made it so welcoming and crazy easy to check in and check out. Definitely staying here again! 10 stars!
