I can't recommend On Franklin Pond enough! The hosts are so gracious and generous. The space is well-appointed with furniture and amenities. The location was perfect. Remote enough to be peaceful, but Whiteface and Lake Placid are a short drive away. Plenty of good fishing in the area too. We loved it!!

Dick and Mary were just the BEST. The small apartment was very comfortable and they made sure that absolutely anything that could possibly be needed during the stay was there. They even had makeup remover wipes in the bathroom and ground coffee in case I didn't want the K-Cups. The temperature was super comfortable, even the floors were warm for bare feet. Franklin Pond was gorgeous and made for wonderful bookends to my days. I wished I could have stayed longer. I ended up taking a hike suggestion and was NOT disappointed. It was absolutely perfect for me and the view was amazing. Close to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid and was not too far from Tupper Lake (about an hour). Very close to Whiteface if that's what you're interested in. I will absolutely stay there again and I suggest you book it if you're on the fence! Thank you Dick and Mary for a lovely weekend stay!

The property was immaculate, it was equipped with everything I needed, and the hosts were exceptionally gracious. The property site is incredibly beautiful, with a breathtaking view out the entry way door.

Beautiful property and the hosts provided so many thoughtful touches for our arrival. Would recommend this to anyone in search of an Adirondacks getaway. Kayaking on the lake was wonderful and there are many great hiking options nearby.
