House / Villa - Santanyi

Very peacefuldeal vacation house any time of year. Well insulated, warm thanks to electric heat plus a wood stove in the winter, and naturally cool in the summer. Recently built, but in the traditional Mallorquin style, the house fits in beautifully in its rural setting. It is surrounded by almond orchards and carob and wild olive trees. Great for bird watching and for enjoying nature.

The house has two bedrooms with double beds, and a fold-out couch in the living-room. One full and one half bath. It has several terraces outdoors, a covered porch, and a barbecue, outdoor sink, and wood-burning oven for summer meals outdoors.

The location is ideal. The house is in the countryside between the towns of Santanyí, Es Llombards, and Ses Salines, in an area of little-used secondary roads flanked by dry stone walls that are perfect for walking or bicycling. It is a short drive to a variety of beaches, coves, or walks along the coast: S’Almonia, Cala Llombards, the natural park of Mondragó with its three beaches, and small fishermen’s ports such as Porto Petro and Cala Figuera. It is also close to Colonia de Sant Jordi, a summer resort with access to some of the best unspoiled beaches on the island: Es Trenc, Es Carbó, Es Perengons petits, Es Coto, Es Caragol, El Marques...
