    Alain was a great host! Check-in and out was easy. We loved being able to grill during our stay. The location was perfect for us with markets, bakeries and restaurants in walking distance.

    Great place to stay!!

    My husband and I really enjoyed out stay at Alain's comfortable apartment. Terrace is beautiful and peaceful. Great location, easy walking to the market, coffee shops, wonderful bakery, and places to eat. Alain was a great host. We highly recommend!!

    Home away from home!

    Alain was an excellent host and I highly recommend Chez Patrac for your next visit to Montreal. I travelled with my elderly parents to visit family and we were very comfortable. We enjoyed many meals on the terrace filled with beautiful plants and trees. It was our home away from home! I look forward to staying here on my next trip to Montreal!

    Convenient and cozy

    Great location, with a great boulangerie, a fromagerie, a grocery store all within two blocks. The wonderful Jean-Talon market and the metro are also an easy walk. The apartment is nothing fancy, very clean and homey. Nice sunny eating area and beautiful back terrace. We would stay again.

    Great host, loved the terrace

    We enjoyed our stay and the host made everything very easy. We usually stay downtown and it was nice to stay in a real Montreal neighborhood rather than a hotel. Very convenient to the metro station so you can easily go anywhere. The terrace out back was a really nice spot for morning coffee and end of day wine. Will probably book again next year.

    Awesome spot in Montreal

    My friends and I had such a good stay at Alain's place. It was cute, the patio in July was a welcome treat, and the location was perfect (less than a 5 minute walk to the grocery/liquor store, pharmacy, and subway station). Will definitely try to stay again next time I'm in Montreal! Thank you Alain :)

    Great Christmas trip

    This apartment is wonderful - very close to metro and food stores and restaurants and also where my children live. There were supposed to also be my son and his family but they were unable to join but regardless I felt very comfortable and I look forward to returning when it’s not winter time

    Great Place

    Nice 2nd floor apt in a townhouse complex. Very well furnished, it was 4 of us (2 adults and two kids) and we fit in well, with the kids having their own beds in the 2nd bedroom. Place is situated well also, 10 min walk to the subway 5 min to a supermarket, also great little areas all around. Lastly Patio was great for us in the summer. Alain and Patricia were also very friendly and helpful.

    A perfect neighborhood apartment

    This 2nd floor apartment in one of Montreal's fun neighborhoods fit us perfectly. Waking distance to the metro, numerous cafes, multiple ethnic foods and shopping made every day a new experience. Our hosts were both polite and accommodating. The space was enough to babysit our grandchildren and entertain a group of friends for breakfast. We hope to come back in the spring and enjoy the outside deck.

    A perfect spot

    This spot is the perfect location to take in all of Montreal. You can walk forever, hop on the nearby Metro, or catch your breath in the spacious apartment and its patio area. Parks are scattered around you. Shops are two blocks away. Restaurants encircle you. The charm and safety of Montreal await you.

    Loved it!

    The flat is in a great location. Unfortunately, there was a bad snow storm when we arrived so parking was a bit challenging the first day. Metro is a short walk (awesome) and plenty of restaurants all around within walking distance. And a grocery store, too. The owner is very easy to work with and communicate. We would love to come back and stay again in the summer. Highly recommend!

    Great Location….Everything You Need Close By

    We were two couples wishing to explore Montreal. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed sipping wine under the pergola on the deck and finding bagels, cheese and wine just around the corner. We bought a 3-day pass for the Metro and were able to access all of Montreal. The Beaubien metro station was just a few blocks away. We discovered great restaurants in the neighbourhood and can’t wait to come back!

    Worked perfectly for us

    Four of us, two parents and two teens, enjoyed a long weekend at Chez Patrac. We were settling daughter into McGill and wanted to be in a neighborhood outside of downtown. We could easily take the Metro downtown and to McGill, and when we drove places we easily found parking near the apartment. The boulangerie at the corner is fantastic and it's a nice walk to Marche Jean-Talon. The outdoor space was a great place to start and end our days.

    An unforgettable stay chez Patrac

    We spent two weeks in Alain's beautiful apartement. Even though we had read the favorable reviews as well as Alain's own description of the flat, we were more than amazed by its size, equipment and location Only 5 minutes to the next metro station Beaubien, a supermarket just around the corner and lots of nice restaurants/pubs in the neighborhood. Besides, we never had a problem to park our car near the house. The appartement itself is extremely well equipped and absolutely clean. It has a big and sunny kitchen. And a wonderful, quiet terrace with lots of flowers and plants I recommend this appartment to everybody travelling to Montreal! Thank you, Alain.

    Loved the outdoor space !

    This is a beautiful apartment in a very charming neighborhood . The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable , and the apartment has great living space . The kitchen is very well equipped , and Alain had even gone to the trouble of placing a vase of fresh flowers on the dining table ! However , our favorite part was the outdoor patio . It’s fabulous !! We spent our evenings out here under the stars ! Alain clearly loves to garden , and the planter boxes are filled with shrubs and flowers making this a delightful space to relax . The location is very convenient for the metro , and there is a good grocery store 2 blocks away . We are already planning to return next year ! Thank you , Alain , for a great visit !

    Great place and amazing location.

    We stayed here during the month of September and the place itself was great, as was the location. There are amazing cafes, restaurants, the metro and a bixi station (bike sharing system) just steps away. I've stayed in Montreal before, downtown, and really enjoyed this location much more. Everything is at your doorstep, however the neighborhood still has a peaceful and relaxing feel. There are so many amazing places, some just literally at the corner. We were able to walk or bike to Mont Royal, downtown and everywhere in between. Alain was also great, very responsive to any questions and emails and was very helpful during our stay. The apartment itself was clean, cozy and we felt right at home. We especially enjoyed the sunny outside terrace and had many meals outside. There were grapes growing on the terrace that we got to enjoy, and Alain even brought us additional grapes to try. The beds were comfortable and the extra desk space in one of the bedrooms was quite helpful as well. Without any hesitation, I would recommend this apartment for anyone looking to stay in Montreal. We can't wait to come back!

    Beautiful appartment in a central location witin a 5 min walk to the metro and many shops, cafes, and stellar shopping around the corner yet the appartment is still surprisingly quiet. Great place to stay if you want to live where the locals live. There is penty of kitchen equipment tobprepare your own meals and a beautiful outside terrace.
