Ideally located for relaxing holiday

Lovely tastefully furnished villa located in quiet residential area of Calpe but within 1km of both the Levante and Arenal beaches. From the roof terrace you have a glorious view of the Penon De Ifach. The villa is built on two levels with the upper level comprising two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a very spacious lounge and dining room, a well equipped kitchen and a 'sun-trap' naya and with the lower level with separate entrance has two bedrooms, a lounge, a bathroom and a kitchen. Outside the villa there is an inviting 8 X 4m pool with outside shower surrounded by lush vegetation in the garden. Adjacent to the pool is another extensive terrace and BBQ area with access to a 'bar' room.

OTHERS : FREE WIFI ACCESS, AIR CONDITIONING IN THE LIVING-DINING ROOM AND IN ALL BEDROOMS, SATELLITE TV, LINEN AND BEACH TOWELS PROVIDED, PETS ARE ALLOWED.

Great Location

The villa is very well located for beaches & bars but is in a generally quiet location. The accommodation is particularly good for families with young adults as they can avail of the apartment. Outside area is very comfortable and gets the sun for most of the day. Indoor living area spacious and WiFi excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful time

Our stay at the villa was amazing. The Villa was well located to town and had everything and more that we needed. We really loved our stay and the help from the neighbour Danny made the holiday even more enjoyable. The communication from the owners was 100% and nothing was too much trouble . Would recommend and we will be back in the future.

Family holiday

Great villa, loads of space for 6 of us to spread out and enjoy a brilliant holiday. Outside pool area had different areas so there was always somewhere to sit in the sun or shade. Good size deep pool. Never been to calp before, but will deffinetly be back Next door neighbours were very helpful too

Loved our stay !

This was our second stay at the villa and again had an amazing stay. Jayne’s communication was again brilliant! The villa has everything you need and is very spacious. The pool is an excellent size for the whole family to enjoy. I would definitely stay again. The location is good with a 15-20 minute walk into the main strip of restaurants, shops and beach The supermarkets are even closer.Everything you need is within walking distance so perfect for a lovely holiday. Danny and Donna were waiting with the keys to show us around and explain what we needed to know this again was very helpful. A lovely couple that made the holiday even smoother.

Perfect family house

Everything about our stay was perfect. Quick and efficient communication beforehand. We met the key holder at the villa. The immediate surroundings are so peaceful. Plenty of space both outside and inside. We were celebrating a birthday party so loved the bar downstairs. Great BBQ and pool area. Everything you need here for a super holiday, either as a base for exploring the Costa Blanca, or a more relaxing holiday at the villa. Also loved the little bar/restaurant a few minutes walk away ... Really friendly people and fantastic prices!

Good location

We had a few issues such as tv not working but that didn’t really bother us. A local informantion pack on restaurants, how to get to beach walking, list of local taxis, where to take our rubbish etc would have been useful. Extra pillows and blankets would have helped, as in twin bedrooms, one wanted ac on the other didn’t so extra bedding would have solved this issue! No tea towels or bin bags. Villa smelt musty and we had some issues with cockroaches. Villa was well stocked especially with with crockery and cooking utensils. Pool was lovely as was the plentiful supply of pool towels.

Sorry to hear you had issues. We would say that the TV was working and that advice was on hand to show you how to work it however you advised this was not necessary as you weren’t going to be using the TV. Advice and directions to the beach were given and also on local transport numbers. We have found that guests use google for maps and the internet for restaurants etc. With regards to additional pillows and blankets again if this had been requested it would have been provided the same day. Several new tea towels were available on arrival as were bin bags. We are unsure why the villa was musty as it is aired prior to arrival and with regards to cockroaches we never saw any in the six weeks prior. The increased heat does however increase the likelihood of seeing them. We were disappointed to hear that all AC units were left running when you left the property and several bags of rubbish left on the naya. We have also been advised that neighbours that helped you with the shopping were left out of pocket as you never paid them back before leaving.

Wonderful Holiday

We stayed with our family, including our Grandchildren aged 9 and 11. Everyone enjoyed their stay especially having the use of the swimming pool. The villa was very clean and well equipped, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The Air Conditioning was a great bonus as the weather was very hot, while we were there. Also enjoyed the comfortable, shady seating areas and the barbecue. We didn’t hire a car, while there, but found it was a comfortable walk to both beaches, restaurants and the harbour area. Plus Supermarkets were on the route back, to pick up supplies. Donna, who lives next door was also very helpful. Thank you for a great holiday.

Calpe Stay

Just returned from a fantastic week here. The layout of the villa is unusual with two of the bedrooms in a separate annex downstairs, that can only reached by exiting the main villa and walking round but this was communicated with us by the owner prior to booking and actually worked well for our teens who felt they had a little independence, whilst still being very close to us. The villa is really well equipped and there are so many outdoor spaces in the garden set up for sun or shade. The walk to either of the beaches was around 10-15 minutes depending on the heat (longer on the way back as slightly up hill). Big Aldi and Lidl within walking distance. Communication with owner before arrival was excellent and Donna, next door was really helpful on arrival and with any queries during our stay. Genuinely did not want to leave.

Fantastic

We stayed in this villa with our children aged between 2 and nearly 14 for 8 nights and all had a great time. The gardens and pool are absolutely lovely and there were lots of toys/games, beach stuff and inflatables left for our use, which the kids loved. The inside is spacious, beds comfortable, and our older kids enjoyed having their own ‘apartment’ downstairs. There are lots of lovely different areas of the villa in which to relax and enjoy meals. It felt like home and we were all very happy there. The area itself is peaceful but not remote and all of Calpe and the supermarkets and beaches are within walking distance; we did not hire a car and this was not a problem at all. Calpe is beautiful with lots to see and do, we enjoyed the tourist train and the funfair. The Casco Viejo (Old Town) is beautiful and you can also climb the Peñón de Ifach, which my partner and son enjoyed attempting, and almost made it to the top, although this is not for the faint hearted!!! Jayne was super helpful answering queries in the run up to our visit and very hospitable on our arrival; the neighbour Donna is also really helpful when Jayne is not there. We ordered an online delivery from Mercadona to save having to go out and do a big shop and this was great, easy and very efficient so would recommend this. We could happily have stayed another week (or more!) here.

Slightly disappointed with this rental

The heater made a loud noise which made it terrible to sleep in the evening. Combining this with a home layout with two separate entrance's to the first and second level, the low ceiling in the “basement” and lack of amenities, I would not recommend this location to stay. No soap, enough hand towels and trash bags, you will also have to make a run to the store before you can make yourself comfortable. Seriously, just get a hotel. If you are seeking a simple, low key home with a lot of inconveniences, then this is your place. The one okay thing was the location.

With regards provisions we would have been delighted to get supplies for you had you requested a starter pack. Großzügiges Haus

Das Haus ist geräumig und hat einen großen Außenbereich mit viel Privatsphäre. Check-in und -out waren unkompliziert. Es war angenehm für uns mit zwei separaten Wohnungen, so konnten meine kinderlosen Geschwister ausschlafen😊der Pool war auch super und insgesamt im Aussenbereich auch alles sauber und gepflegt. Innen ist die Einrichtung eher in die Jahre gekommen und in der unteren Wohnung war es etwas muffig. Preis-Leistung war für uns aber auf jeden Fall in Ordnung. Super auch,dass Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Strandtücher da waren. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche,danke Jayne!

Bon séjour

Nous avons passé un bon séjour ici, cependant l’accueil de Nonna est affreux. Après 12h de route avec des enfants en bas âge et une arrivée à 12h elle ne nous as même pas laisser déposer nos bagages afin de pouvoir attendre la fin du ménage et nous raffraichir à la piscine. La maison est bien divisé en deux appartements mais celui du rdc est plus une « cave » qu’un réel appartement. Très sombre, pas de micro onde pas de table et de chaise pour s’asseoir. L’extérieur est très joli cependant les abord de la piscine sont très glissant et avec des escaliers, dangereux avec des enfants. Rien que pour l’accueil que nous avons eu au départ c’est la première fois en 16ans de vacances à calpe que nous sommes accueillit ainsi. Nous ne reviendrons pas malgré la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Jayne la propriétaire avec qui j’ai pu échangé.

Sorry to hear about your disappointment but we discussed on several occasions that early entry before 4pm was not possible as time was required to clean the villa between clients. We understand on arrival at 12 an offer was made to store your luggage to allow you to go to the beach until the villa was ready for you. There is ample chairs and tables through the villa and garden for dining and relaxing

La villa est située en hauteur dans un quartier calme et proche du front de mer (20 mn à pied). Possibilité de faire ses courses sans prendre la voiture (10 mn du 1er supermarché). La villa est grande et possède divers emplacements pour déjeuner ou dîner en fonction du soleil. La piscine, très agréable, est ensoleillée toute la journée. Et nous avons été accueillis fort agréablement

Todo muy bien excepto porque la nevera del piso de abajo no funcionaba, avisamos desde el primer momento, y la nevera de arriba resulta insuficiente para las plazas ocupadas.
