Wonderful stay

Perfect Location

The apartment is a perfect Florentine experience. Marco was wonderful and attentive. It is close enough to everything you would want to see in Florence, but far enough away from the crowds to relax. We would DEFINITELY stay here when we return to Florence!

Great apartment in Florence!

We had the best time visiting Florence and staying in Marco’s apartment. The apartment looks just like the pictures and has everything you need for your Florence adventure. Marco was incredibly helpful and responsive. He met us at the apartment to show us around and even gave us a bottle of Chianti- which we loved. The apartment is a quick 15 min walk from just about anywhere in Florence you’d want to visit. We definitely recommend staying here!

It is really a very nice apartment and Marco treated us very well.

We loved the apartment and Marco went out of his way to make sure we felt welcomed. The kitchen was sufficient to cook dinners, although there are many places nearby to eat. The only thing I wish it had was AC. We were there in July and we could open the windows at night to cool the apartment but it was warmer than what we were accustomed to. It is in the Oltrarno which we like, and it is close to several bus lines. Nice location!

A beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment that is true to its photos. Located in a quiet street close by beautiful attractions, delicious restaurants, and shops, this location is ideal for travelers looking to explore and fall in love with Florence! Marco is an exceptional host who is responsive in our communications and made himself open for further questions at any time during our stay. We were given a brief description of the area, and Marco's recommendations on local restaurants - it was much appreciated for us first time explorers of the beautiful city of Florence! We would definitely love to book with Marco again for this apartment should we ever get a chance to visit in the future.

A wonderful place to stay in Florence

We spent a week in Florence and found this apartment to be very comfortable and a great place to stay while enjoying all the Florence has to offer. We were met at the appointed time and let in and shown the apartment by a very friendly associate of the owner. This apartment has everything you need to be comfortable and is in a great location - near grocery stores, mini markets and the bus stop to get you where you are going. Santo Spirito is just a 5 minute walk away where there are great bars, restaurants and a market every morning where you can get produce and other goodies without the usual touristy trappings north of the river. Marco is an excellent property host. Very casual but professional. We hope to go back again soon.

"Apartment was in a nice place, however it has a horrible, very narrow staircase , the light there did not work and to walk the stairs to the third floor was a risk. The window in a bedroom is permanently closed due to the fact that it overlooks the filthy very small yard. Beds are not comfortable."

Sweet apartment and location

The apartment is bigger than it appears. Lots of drawer and closet space. Marco did a wonderful job furnishing it. (Tip: if you want to use the top bolt, have Marco explain how to unlock it. There may have been a few moments of calm panic my first morning...) Then there's Oltrarno: fantastic area. There is an entrance to Boboli Garden right by the Porta Romana, lots of buses, places to get breakfast. There are many ateliers in the area, so if you like fine and unique clothes, it's far better than Via Tournabourni. It also felt safe to me as a woman traveling solo. Marco was a wonderful host, responding quickly to a couple requests and making good restaurant recommendations. Can't wait to return!

Una autentica experiencia Florentina

Si buscas vivir una inmersión en Florencia, es la opción perfecta. El apartamento está ubicado en un barrio muy florentino, fuera de las murallas pero muy próximo al ponte vecchio (no mas de 10 minutos a pié). Marco es un encanto y nos atendió como si fuéramos propia familia. Si lo que buscas es un alojamiento con las comodidades de un hotel 5*, no es la opción que buscas, pero si lo que quieres es vivir la experiencia florentina, en mi humilde opinión es el apartamento perfecto. Great place and host with authentic feel

Starting from an easy trip from the train station with a close bus stop, Marco's place was everything we could've asked for. Marco was very friendly and met us at the bus station in the rain and helped us carry our bags. The apartment was exactly what my wife and I wanted; an authentic Italian apartment in an old building not surrounded by tourists but still close enough to walk everywhere or hop on a quick bus ride if needed. I've got nothing but great things to say about Marco and his apartment and would be more than happy to stay here again.

Perfectly located, comfortable place.

Marco was wonderful! He was very easy to get ahold of and checked in with us before our trip to prepare us with details on how to get there from the train station. As we were walking up to his place we were greeted with a friendly hello from the upstairs window. We instantly felt welcome. He gave us a tour then gave us a bottle of wine as a gift! It was a warm romantic stay with my fiancé. The butcher across the street has amazing food and the mini market four doors down has everything you might need including great prices. It was a short walk (maybe 10 minutes, all flat) to the Ponte Vecchio through safe and friendly neighborhoods. It’s also literally across the street from the Boboli Gardens which was one of the highlights of our trip. We can’t wait to return to Florence and when we do, we look forward to staying here again! Thank you Marco!

Splendida vacanza

Confermo tutte le recensioni positive. Appartamento molto accogliente a due passi dal centro in un quartiere molto tranquillo e perlopiù abitato da fiorentini. Marco, il proprietario, è davvero simpatico, disponibile e per nulla invadente. Ci ha accolto con calore e ci ha fatto sentire come se fossimo a casa nostra. Molto graditi i doni di benvenuto. Tutto perfetto, mi sento di consigliarlo anche a chi, come noi, ha soggiornato con una bambina. Se dovessi tornare a Firenze spero di poter soggiornare ancora in questo appartamento. Io e la mia compagna siamo stati nell appartamento 3 gg la scorsa settimana per visitare Firenze ..che dire,proprietario gentilissimo ci ha fatto vedere la casa e ci ha dato consigli su zone da visitare e ristoranti..la casa e molto carina,ben arredata e dista solo 15 minuti a piedi dal centro storico..sicuramente la consiglio a tutti...grande Marco
