This is a basic older apartment located on a traffic circle and with a restaurant below so it can get pretty noisy. The apartment has few amenities although it does have a washing machine which comes in handy. It is a block from a COOP supermarket and close to many restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, etc. There’s no AC so the apartment can get pretty warm. It has a functional kitchen with a dishwasher, two bathrooms and two modest bedrooms.

The apartment is very central close to shops, beach, restaurants and the town centre. The two bathrooms have been renovated and were the best feature in the apartment. It is an old apartment, I have no problem with that however it wasn’t very clean but rather dusty, the curtains were dirty and the bedding was old. My granddaughter who was traveling with me wouldn’t sleep in the bunk beds as the bedding was dusty & old. The cupboards to hang your clothes were also very dusty and we would often find balls of dust on our clothes. The floor tiles are very old and with a bit of restoration could be beautiful but they look dirty with several tiles being loose.The kitchen is ok there is a full size dishwasher and is well equipped however the freezer box was thick in ice with a bag of something stuck in it along with two celery sticks frozen in the ice. That to me is not acceptable and it should have been clean. There is no Wi-Fi the modem is there but disconnected and I was told Santa has good public Wi-Fi, this to me is not acceptable for a long stay as to do banking, pay bills etc is not secure on a public platform. There is a restaurant downstairs under the bedroom so it can be a little noisy in the evening. I personally wouldn’t stay there again as I feel standards most normal people expect weren’t there, especially when I saw the apartment across the hall which is also a rental which was beautiful, lovely white sheets, big bath towels unlike the small ones I was provided with.

Santa è sempre Santa

L'immobile avrebbe qualche lavoretto da fare, ottimi gli spazi e buona la posizione peccato il traffico e soprattutto il caldo!!! (Anche se penso che come in questo Agosto capiti poche volte). Le pentole forse le cambierei (un pochino troppo datate). Host gentile e disponibile!! In ogni caso è stato un buon soggiorno.... in fondo a Santa si sta sempre bene!!!!!

Schöne Wohnung, aber seht laut

Die Wohnung ist an sich schön und war sauber, gut ausgestattet, sie liegt zentral und die Vermieterin ist nett. Leider ist direkt neben an eine sehr laute Straße. Ruhe war deshalb in der Wohnung kaum zu finden. Eventuell könnten bessere Fenster für mehr Isolation sorgen.

Super bien placé proche de tout et de la plage.

Accueilli en voiture à la gare, top. Emplacement super même si l’immeuble est un peu vieillot et la serrure difficile a ouvrir. Les propriétaire se tenait à disposition par message whatsapp pour toute question sur notre séjour. Nous avons passé une superbe semaine même si nous avons eu chaud ( heureusement qu’il y avait des ventilateurs).

L'appartamento è un gioiellino

Bella casa un stile genovese. Ottima la posizione. Arredata con buon gusto e comodità. Nessuna lamentela da parte nostra. Considerata la posizione, rumore dovuto al traffico stradale , ma normale che ci sia e per nulla fastidioso. Signora Cristina sempre pronta a rispondere ad ogni nostro quesito. Ottima esperienza.

SOGGIORNO A SANTA MARGHERITA

la casa si trova in una zona abbastanza centrale ma rumorosa in quanto non si potevano chiudere le finestre dal caldo. Ventilatore non funzionante, casa vecchia e con poca manutenzione. Le stoviglie molto usurate e non pulite, unica tovaglia rotta con buchi, tavolo traballante e non sfruttabile. I letti sono comodi e i bagni nuovi. Al nostro arrivo i letti non erano completi di lenzuola, ma nell'inserzione non era specificato. E' vero che ci si adatta ma almeno le piccole cose di tutti i giorni, fondamentali, devono essere accettabili. Occorre sicuramente una revisione di tutte le stoviglie, piatti, bicchieri, prese per le pentole inesistenti e una pulizia approfondita prima di affittare la casa.

voor- en nadelen! ( advantages and disadvantages! )

De ligging van het appartement heeft het voordeel dat de winkels, bakkers en restaurants dichtbij liggen. Je loopt zo de gezelligheid in. Ook de afstand tot het strand van Santa is prima. 10 minuten lopen. Het nadeel is dat er veel hinder is van het drukke verkeer. Herrie en uitlaatgassen komen ongehinderd je ramen binnen. Omdat er geen airco is en slecht één ventilator is het erg vervelend om de ramen te moeten sluiten. Pas na 12uur 's nachts wordt het rustiger en kunnen de ramen open voor een verfrissend windje. Je auto in de buurt parkeren is bijna onmogelijk. Er is een parkeergarage bij het haventje voor 20 euro per dag. ( 20 min. lopen ) Het appartement is goed voor twee volwassenen en eventueel twee kinderen(stapelbedden). Het is te klein Voor 6 personen. Alles was redelijk schoon met uitzondering van de vloer in de slaapkamer. Leuke oude tegels maar mijn voeten werden er zwart van. Sleuteloverdracht door poetsvrouw die alleen Italiaans spreekt. Wel heel aardig maar toch wat onhandig omdat ons Italiaans wel ongeveer stopt na: " buon giorno " ! Wij hebben een fijne vakantie gehad vanwege de genoemde voordelen. Santa Margherita is een hele leuke vakantieplaats. Er waren optredens op straat( allerlei muziek ) en aan het strand en boulevard sportactiviteiten ( om te kijken!) volleybal, basketbal, voetbal, waterpolo. Portofino is te voet goed te doen, mooie kustwandeling over rode loper! ( het dorpje zelf is erg toeristisch, duur en eigenlijk niets bijzonders. Je kunt met de bus terug voor 3 euro. Of met de boot heen en te voet terug, ook leuk. In short in English: ++ Apartment is lively situated. Close to everything you want. (10 min walk to beach) - - traffic noise and smell of exhaust fumes if windows opened, hot if windows closed. No airconditioning, one electric fan. ++ Santa Margherita is a very nice little town. Beautifully situated, lively, cosy. Many restaurants. - - No parking possibilities near apartment. ( Parking garage harbour, 20 min walk, 20 euro a day)
