Great stay

Great property in the quiet countryside of the Alentejo. Owners were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Good location - peaceful but an easy drive to both the coast and towns of Odemira and Sao Teotonio.

Fantastic place, great location

We stayed for two weeks and had a fantastic time. Luk and Charlotte were really welcoming and the family loved having the pool at the property. Stunning sunsets every evening, too. Highly recommended!

Lovely house

It was a lovely stay. The house has all the needed appliances and it’s located on a beautiful area, completely isolated. We had so much fun in the trampoline!

Sorry to hear hat. And it’s a pity that this was your main experience. Almost all our guests love our splendid location and it’s magnificent views and calmness. We get mostly five star reviews. Our house is also very accessible, for every type of car. Only the last 200m is a dirt road (in Portuguese: Estrada de terra batida), we prevent everybody to drive slowly. And to make sure that all our guests remain satisfied we will have upgraded the entrance road by April 2025.

Remote and peaceful holiday house

We spent a week in Luk's and Louise's lovely house on this very peaceful and quiet piece of land. The house is surrounded by oak trees and there are some nice trails to explore the premises. A big plus is the refreshing pool on a warm Alentejo autumn day, we used it every day. The house had everything we needed, we enjoyed cooking in the outside kitchen and sitting on the terrace watching the sun go down over the hills. We quickly made friends with the cat and dog (don't leave your shoes outside, the dog will quite likely play with it) who joined us on the terrace. In the nearby villages there are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The next beach is a 20 minute car drive away and definitely worth a visit. I recommend a stay here for everyone who wants to get away from the busy beach towns of the beautiful Alentejo coast.

Adorámos o ambiente envolvente, a tranquilidade do local,a casa era muito acolhedora, a piscina era ótima e sentia-se uma paz e um sossego espetacular! O único ponto negativo que temos a apontar é a estrada de acesso à casa e a falta de limpeza do mato envolvente. Não chegamos a saber o nome da cadela e da gata, mas são umas fofas e ótimas companhias. A anfitriã, muito simpática e acessível!

Voor het derde jaar op rij waren we te gast bij Luk en Louise. Drie weken om te genieten van de omgeving, de rust en het onthaasten. Het Portugal dat nog niet onder de voet gelopen is van toeristen. Ideaal om de batterijen op te laden.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 16 jours chez Luk. Le logement est idéalement situé pour découvrir l'Alentejo et l'Algarve, ce qui en fait un excellent point de départ pour explorer le sud du Portugal.Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la flexibilité offerte par Luk, avec la possibilité d'arriver un autre jour que le samedi, ce qui est un véritable avantage pour organiser son voyage à son rythme.Luk est un hôte très accueillant, disponible et attentif. La maison est agréable, bien équipée et offre tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un très bon séjour. Nous avons également largement profité de la piscine, très appréciable après une journée de visite.Mention spéciale pour la possibilité de recharger notre véhicule électrique sur place, une attention particulièrement appréciée qui a rendu nos déplacements encore plus simples.Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et remercions Luk pour son accueil.

Wir haben uns in diesem paradiesischen Häuschen von der ersten Sekunde an wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, sehr gemütlich, toller Pool, sehr nette, aufmerksame Gastgeber. Wer Ruhe sucht und in großartiger Landschaft zu sich kommen will, ist hier genau richtig. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Havre de paix dans l'Alentejo

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Louise et Luk en famille. La communication a été excellente.La maison est très jolie, confortable et bien équipée, notamment la cuisine d'été. La literie est très confortable également.La piscine est très agréable, nous en avons bien profité. Les enfants étaient ravis de la cabane dans les arbres et du trampoline. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen! Für alle die absolute Ruhe suchen und in die Natur eintauchen wollen genau das Richtige! Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und sofort zur Stelle wenn man was braucht aber gleichzeitig auch sehr diskret :-) die Strände in der Umgebung sind herrlich und das Essen superlecker :-) wir kommen sicher wieder!

Traumhafte Umgebung, Idylle, Ruhe! Wir haben uns richtig erholt und den Aufenthalt genossen! Portugal as it's best! Aussenküche mit Panoramablick auf den Sonnenuntergang! Luk und Louise sind so tolle zurückhaltende, aber immer aufmerksame Gastgeber. Jeder Frage, jedem Wunsch wird nachgekommen! Niet wat we er van verwacht hadden. De afbeeldingen op jullie site van de tuin komt niet echt overeen met de werkelijkheid. Tuin is verwilderd en het zwembad mag eens opgefrist worden. Maar dat is een persoonlijke voorkeur. Super vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. De weg vanaf de openbare weg naar het huisje is in slechte staat. Ideaal voor mensen die terug naar basic comfort willen.

Mooie, rustige locatie. Zwembad is top!

Als je de Alentejo kent weet je dat het “landelijk” is, dus geen Algarve. Heerlijk rustig gelegen huis met mooi zwembad maar verder “basic”. Geen vaatwasser of TV, maar dat hebben wij ook niet gemist. De zandweg was voor ons met de huurauto (Opel Mokka) prima te doen. Luk en Louise 👍

Foram 3 dias simplesmente maravilhosos. Um local maravilhoso, super limpo, relaxante, rodeado de natureza, uns proprietários extremamente simpáticos e acolhedores mas que em nada nos maçaram. Rust, rust, rust!

Zalig. Een prachtige plek om te ontsnappen aan de ratrace en te genieten van de rust, het uitzicht, de ondergaande zon, het zwembad... Luk en Louise hebben ons hartelijk ontvangen. De vakantie voor volgend jaar is al geboekt. :-)
