The condo is located across the street from one of Maui's nicest beaches which is great for the entire family to enjoy swimming and snorkeling. Within walking distance there are world class restaurants, shopping, and golf courses. The resort has a 24 hour front help desk, internet access, and an activities desk.

To Reserve The Condo, We Take A $400.00 Deposit And The Balance Is Due 30 Days Prior To Your Arrival.

Cancellation Policy: If you cancel prior to the balance being due (30 days prior to arrival), nothing further for the reservation would be processed and you would only forfeit the deposit.  If you cancel after paying in full, we will refund you for any nights that we are able to rebook, minus the $400.00 deposit.  If we were to close to tourism, you would be fully credited the amount that you have paid towards a future booking and the balance would not be processed. Travel Insurance is available and strongly encouraged.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was great for my husband, daughter and I. It was very comfortable and well equipped. We wanted to be oceanfront, but this was a good compromise to get the most things we wanted out of our vacation rental while still being super close to the beach. Comfortable accommodations (king size bed was very comfy novaform mattress, and even the twin Murphy beds were comfortable enough.) The kitchen had everything we needed, including some plastic snap ware which is super handy for packing beach lunches! There were a few minor things that came up and the rental agent Matt promptly replied to my early morning email and came to fix the items while we were out that day. The grounds at Kamaole Sands were well kept and beautiful, and we enjoyed swimming in the pool. The beach towels were a nice bonus, though we usually bring a few of our own, this meant we always had fresh towels. My only suggestion would be that the gray bath towels are swapped for white so they can be bleached between guests. The bath towels had that funky towel smell to them as soon as they get wet.

I would recommend getting new towels more frequently. After one use, they often smelled. I don't like wasting water, so I try to re-use towels a few times.

The perfect place

This place was amazing. The Murphy beds were perfect for our teen and pre teen. I don't know why more rental properties don't use them! We needed nothing for our stay here. There were boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, a beach cooler, a rice cooker, coffee maker, Tupperware for leftovers and a great ice maker! The location is great! You're right across the street from Kap 3 beach, where people gather every evening to watch the sunset on the grass. The beach also has the best snorkeling. No joke we had to avoid the turtles just to get in the water. The complex is pretty quiet. Lots of retired couples and folks with young families. Pool is great. Tennis courts were always available. Overall a fantastic trip. Would definitely rent here again!

Reviewer Comments: We have rented this property a total of 3 times, we hope to return to it soon. This is a spacious, renovated 1 bedroom that is very comfortable for two people. It is well equipped and furnished. The orientation of the covered Lanai makes it useable even in the hot afternoons. Close walk to the pool but far enough away that the sounds of enjoyment by pool uses is not an issue. Parking is reasonably close by. When we are satisfied with a property or service we are typically 4 star givers so don't read too much into 4 stars vs 5 stars.

Location of the condo was idea, view of the gardens. Quiet location, no issues with cockroaches but it had tiny ants in Kitchen area, common to Hawaii. Kept sink free of food debris and compostable waste in smaller bags to discourage bugs from congregating. The host paid attention to details. King bed is a plus. Host provided detergent, hand soap and paper for the stay. I would recommend this unit to friends.

Bugs! I wouldn’t stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First there were sugar ants in the kitchen. Then an explosion of termites one evening. We vacuumed them up from the ceiling. There was a pile of what looked like sand under a living room chair. It was actually wood and the termites were living in this chair. The property managers were great in taking it away and replacing it. In our clean up of the underside of the couch (we wanted to check it for bugs too and all the underside black cover paper material stuff was disintegrating) we found silverfish living in the couch. We also had a larger type of ant stream inside near the patio doors. The place is very cheaply furnished. The beds and couch are cheap and uncomfortable. The kitchen is a mismatch of old items, particularly cheap cooking pans. I would not choose to stay in this place again. It was a mistake. It has great management though and they have other nice places.

Wonderful stay in Maui

Very nice condo in Kamaole Sands, recently remodeled with good taste and quality materials. The two murphy beds in the living room were perfect for our family.

Great property. Grounds are very clean and the unit was as described. It had everything we needed.

Dealing with Matt was great. Very responsive. The two bathrooms and two Murphy beds were great for two teenagers. We had a great time sitting in the lanaii playing cards at night. We just got home this morning and we are all sad. It was so much fun.
