Wonderful ski-in/ski-out location within walking distance to Breckenridge. Grand Timber Lodge offers fantastic amenities including multiple indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, fitness center, saunas, a restaurant, ski rental &ski storage, grills, and playground, Wifi, shuttle service, pool and entertainment rooms. Rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable. We always enjoy our visit to Grand Timber Lodge and Breckenridge.

The studio includes a queen-sized bed and a sleeper-sofa. There is a compact kitchen area, fully-equipped, TV with cable + dvd, and a shower/bath combo.

Love this property

We do a family trip every December and come back for a adult getaway in Feb and this is the only place i recommend. Only this I wish was better is the luggage rack carts I can never find them.

Challenges Checking In

The property worked fine. It's a standard studio with a Queen and a sofa sleeper. We arrived and checked in without difficulty. We rolled all of our luggage up to the room and found the room had not been cleaned from the previous stay and the room was about 50 degrees. The front desk was very helpful in getting the cleaning resolved and gave us a $25 credit on incidentals for our inconvenience. It took a while to figure out the unit wouldn't warm up because the windows were open. Unfortunately, the windows were frozen such that they couldn't completely close. The night was cool but not unbearable with some extra blankets. Maintenance arrived early the next day and repaired one of the frozen windows but had to be called back to fix the other later. I'm not sure why they didn't look at both while they were there. The second and third nights were uneventful and met expectations. My advice to the owners would be to make certain housekeeping makes sure the windows are closed after a cleaning and that the cleaning is timely. Without the cleaning and window drama, I would have given it a 4.

We had a great time here. There was only one hiccup at check-in, but that was quickly rectified. The location is ideal, the local facilities are great, and proximity to ski rental and slopes was unbeatable.

My wife and sons stayed at this unit for a short ski weekend while we visited from Houston. We loved this unit and the entire Grand Timber Lodge complex. We skied to the lift and skied to property so that was incredibly convenient. We took the shuttle into town and when we were ready to come back we just called and the shuttle was there to meet us within 15-20 minutes. Just a great experience overall.

Very pleased with our entire stay and will definitely be back. Proximity to lifts was very convienent and the shuttle service was beyond excellent.
