The apartment is situated on the first floor of a renovated farmhouse overlooking the Ionian Sea. The setting is a magnificent natural balcony surrounded by greenery, with a picturesque wooden bridge that leads up to the apartment. At only km 1½ from the nearest town the apartment is divided on two levels and is air conditioned. It includes a living room that converts to a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower. There are also two shaded patios where one can relax and enjoy the wonderful view of Taormina, Calabria and the beautiful sea of Fondachello. The strategic location makes it easy to reach the centres of historic, naturalistic and cultural value; Taormina and Etna can be reached within 20 minutes whereas a dip in the sea at Fondachello is only 7 minutes away.
The ground floor of the house is occupied by the proprietor who will be happy to provide information and advice for tourists.

Piccola casina semplice con vista meravigliosa

Il signor Leopoldo è una persona veramente gentile ed ospitale. La casa sarebbe il piano sopra la casa di Leopoldo. Noi eravamo due coppie e ci siamo stati bene😌 la vista dal terrazzino è spettacolare e si vede il mare. Ringrazio ancora Leopoldo per averci consigliato luoghi speciali che abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo! Grazie ancora per l’ospitalità

Gemütliche und toll gelegene Mansardenwohnung mit Balkonen

Wir haben eine tolle Zeit in Leopoldo Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und verfügt über zwei Balkone mit Aussicht, einen mit Blick ins Grüne und einen mit Blick in Richtung der Küste bis Taormina. Die Ferienwohnung ist ideal gelegen sowohl für die Erkundung der Küstenregion als auch für Ausflüge auf den Ätna. Leopoldo ist ein toller Gastgeber. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter.

Séjour agréable

Accueil chaleureux, bon emplacement pour aller sur l'Etna (1h en voiture), et à la plage (10 min en voiture). Le propriétaire Léopold habite au rez-de-chaussée de chaussée. Il est très sympathique et chaleureux. Je recommande.

Super vriendelijke gastheer en mooie plek

Prima ontvangen door gastheer Leopoldo. Al op de eerste avond zat ons zoontje (9) te tekenen met de potloden die hij te leen kreeg. Ook mochten we het atelier zien en de prachtige dingen die Leopoldo maakt. Het appartement is ruim en smaakvol ingericht. De 2 balkons bieden zon en schaduw. Mooi uitzicht op de kust van Taormina tot Catania. Minpuntje zijn de smalle, bochtige toegangswegen naar boven, op de uitlopers van de Etna. Anderzijds een zeer centraal punt voor uitstapjes aan de oostkust, wat wij veelvuldig gedaan hebben. Bij Leopoldo bij voorkeur de auto beneden aan de straat laten staan. Hij brengt de koffers naar boven (en terug) met zijn bestelauto. Alle egards voor Leopoldo en zijn mooie, artistieke leefomgeving. Dank Leopoldo voor de familiaire sfeer en het kunstboek(en). Onze zoon is er zeer verguld mee. Hopelijk tot een volgende keer!

Séjour très agréable

La maison a un charme fou, avec un magnifique jardin. Leopoldo est un hôte très délicat et accueillant. L'emplacement est pratique pour visiter l'Etna mais aussi pour se rendre à la mer. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr persönlich und liebevoll gestaltet, darum haben wir uns auch gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Wir waren mit unserem Sohn, 7 Jahre alt, und er hatte auch viel Raum außerhalb unserer Wohnung. Mit Kinder perfekt. Außerdem haben wir die beiden Balkone sehr genossen. So konnten wir je nach Sonnenstand, Lust und Laune draußen sitzen. Leopoldo ist wirklich ein sehr netter Vermieter, der immer für einen da ist wenn man etwas braucht und einem aber komplett seine Privatspähre läßt. Außerdem durfte unser Sohn mit ihm im Atelier malen und zuschauen und einfach auch nur dort sein, was natürlich der Hit war. Außerdem hat uns die Lage sehr gut gefallen. Man hatte das Gefühl mitten unter den Einheimischen zu sein und dennoch sehr zentral. Mit dem Auto (allerdings notwendig) ca. 5 Minuten nach Nunziata. Dort gibt es eine herrlich Bar zum Frühstücken und einen herrlichen Pizzabäcker für Pizzen zum Mitnehmen am Abend. Außerdem bloß ca. 20 Minuten zum herrlichen Strand von San Marco (Naturschutzgebiet). Wenn man es einfach, aber schön möchte, dann ist man bei Leopoldo bestens aufgehoben.

Schöne Unterkunft mit Meerblick

Wir haben in der Wohnung von Leopoldo sehr schöne und angenehme Osterferien verbracht. Die Wohnung ist eher einfach aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat im Prinzip alles Wesentliche was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Leopoldo war ein sehr aufmerksamer und gleichzeitig zurückhaltender Gastgeber der uns mit vielen Ausflugstipps und mit Zitronen/Orangen aus dem Garten versorgt hat. Besonders gefallen haben uns der Balkon mit Meerblick (ideal zum Frühstücken) bzw. die Terasse Richtung Etna (am Abend). Wir kommen gerne mal wieder!

Logement plein de charme et très dépaysant, bien équipé (climatisation, lave-linge), disposant d'une superbe vue de Riposto à Taormine et parfaitement situé pour visiter la côte Est de la Sicile, de Syracuse à Messine en passant par l'Etna bien entendu. Plages les plus proches à 10 minutes. Le propriétaire des lieux, Leopoldo, est très accueillant et disponible. The accommodation is full of charm and ideal to break from the usual routine, well equipped (air conditioning, washing machine), with a superb view from Riposto to Taormina and perfectly located to visit the east coast of Sicily, from Syracusa to Messina, and the Etna of course. Nearest beaches within 10 minutes. The owner of the place, Leopoldo, is very welcoming and available.

Beautiful place for a relaxed holiday

It was a great pleasure for us to spend our holidays at Dino´s house. As he lives downstairs and the holiday house is upstairs, he was always available for questions regarding the house or any recommendations regarding the region. We felt very comfortable at our stay as the house and its view is simply marvellous and thanks to Dino´s very kind and relaxed personality. The house provides everything you need for a perfect vacation. We cooked delicious meals we enjoyed having at one of the different terraces. We hope to return soon to this wonderful, quiet place and can highly recommend it to anybody longing for relaxed vacation.

Location agréable avec un très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Le propriétaire (Dino) est très sympathique et très serviable. La location possède deux terrasses : une avec une belle vue sur la mer et l'autre avec une vue sur le jardin. Elle se trouve à 7 km (en voiture) de la plage et se trouve également proche de l'Etna et de la ville de Taormine. Nager en regardant le volcan fumer est une expérience inédite en ce qui nous concerne ! Je recommande cette location qui se trouve hors des grosses stations touristiques.

Accueil convivial et chaleureux de la part de Léopoldo. Maison calme est bien située pour visiter la région et notamment découvrir l'Etna. Le propriétaire vie sur place, mais sait rester discret et serviable.Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Bon rapport qualité/prix dans une région très touristique.

The house is beautiful, spacious and is full of details that will help you to pass confortable days.
