The home also features a gas fireplace, wireless network, Roku TV with hundreds of movies for free. There is a laundry room, a bonus room with queen beds, and a TV/DVD for the kids. There is a lovely swimming pond with a beach, fire pit, charcoal grill, and 185' boat dock on the bayside. Walk or bike to downtown Sturgeon Bay, Portage Park on lake Michigan.

Beautiful view of the bay. The swimming pond was a wonderful part of our stay. Bill supplied many floating devices that we used to relax with in the pond.

Memories Made

We had a wonderful family vacation over the 4th of July! We watch fireworks from the boat in Sturgeon Bay, made s’more by the fire, kayak on the lake and explored the beauty of Door County. Bill the host was amazing and so helpful, doesn’t get any better than Bill. The cute dogs were a bonus for our kiddos!

Great location, spacious condo, great host

Our group of 10 adults and 3 toddlers/infants stayed three nights in June at this spacious condo which is beautifully situated overlooking Sturgeon Bay. There was plenty of room for our group whether inside or outside. And, there are plenty of things to do including boating, swimming, enjoying the sandy beach, or simply relaxing and enjoying the view. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are grills available for outdoor cooking. Our host ensured that we had firewood and supplies needed to use the firepit which was appreciated. The washer and dryer are conveniently located on the first floor, and there is a 2-car garage attached which is useful for loading and unloading. It should be noted there are 3.5 baths, as opposed to the 2.5 baths listed.Our host was very responsive to our questions and our requests. At the beginning of our stay, the Sturgeon Bay area was experiencing a heat wave. When we noticed the air conditioning began to fail, we contacted our host who responded promptly and secured a repair technician within a couple of hours on a Friday evening. The bottom line is we enjoyed the rest of our stay in comfortably cool air conditioning.

Amazing Vacation Experience!

We had an amazing 5 day stay at this property, Bill the property manager was there when we arrived & lived close by to the home and responded immediately to any questions or issues we had. The "pond" was the biggest hit with the kids, they loved swimming, fishing, kayaking, etc., & the home itself was large enough to accommodate our family. We would absolutely stay at this property again! So much to do in the Door County area is another bonus to this location!!

Great place to stay! The grandkids loved swimming in the pond and the older kids/adults enjoyed fishing right out the back door. The home was beautiful and clean, and was located at the end of a quiet road so we felt safe and secluded. I would definitely recommend to families!

July 4th Week

This was the perfect stay for our family. Bill was amazing! He was friendly and available. He was also really helpful in terms of activities for the kids. He took us out for the fireworks on his boat, and it was absolutely amazing. The house and property are in perfect location with plenty to do and plenty of space. We recommend this house for a fantastic summer getaway.

William was very helpful! He came over quickly to help with issues such as the air conditioning and broken door handle. He even delivered fire wood for the fire pit! We would love to stay again and try William's half of the duplex! He was great to work with!

What a relaxing vacation!

This is the perfect place for families to gather. The swimming pond was SO fun for the kids--my six-year-old even got to try kayaking by herself! Kayaks and paddleboats are ready and available. The view of the lake is just stunning and it's a quick drive up to Egg Harbor. The house was beautiful and well-equipped, and we used the firepit every night :). Highly recommend this spot for families!

Port Haven North

Beautiful well placed on water. Swimming pond with fish to catch and release. Lots of amenities. We had 4 individuals that were on a work vacation. The internet was practically non existent making it difficult to work remotely.

Sturgeon Bay duplex

This is not a good area for fishing and not ideal for tubing or skiing due to large boats going through the channel to Lake Michigan. To get to the best fishing you need to go through about 2 miles of no wake area through the town. Also the swimming pond had blue die in it which was a little concerning. There were some repairs and replacements needed which in my opinion should not be the case for a rental charging as much per night as this one did. All that being said, we did enjoy the property and had a good time as a family.

July 2019 Stay

Would recommend this property! Couple things to know before booking though...1. Place is actually a duplex. The picture is of the back of the place, which is actually a duplex. You do not rent the entire house. 2. You share the pond, swim area and lawn with whoever is renting the other side of the duplex. A large group renting the South part of the property came in a couple days into our stay. Their kids were running around playing laser tag on our side. We have kids ourselves, so it didn’t really bother us. But if you are looking for privacy, you may not get it with this property. Overall, Bill was extremely friendly and helpful! Quick to respond to emails. The house had most of what you will need, including a nice supply of firewood to enjoy the fire pit and beautiful sunset!!

Door County wedding

This was an amazing weekend for my wife, family, friends and I. We had a 60 guest wedding in the property backyard. The location and property are perfect for a small wedding venue. The property owner/manager Bill was amazing. I can't say enough!

Great location, kid friendly

Very spacious with many places to gather indoors and outdoors. Also little extras including kids toys and water toys. Host was responsive and on property frequently to assist as needed. The property itself is a town home so you do share a wall and some outdoor space with your neighbors.

We are natives to Door County who are good friends of the former owner of this property, when his cottage was damaged in a fire we joined up together and started construction of the two units on this 3 acre plot.

Why they chose this property

For 10 years we've been coming to sturgeon bay for anything from snowmobiling to fishing or just relaxing by the fire on the beach; its on the end od a road in a private setting with three other homes ; there' water in front and back, the bay out front and a beach on the pond in back; swimming or boating all around you.
