Unfortunately, parking restrictions are set by the HOA and, in this case, we were notified at the last minute ourselves. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While we're sorry this property wasn't the right fit for you, we do feel it's important to clarify a few points in your review. Your reservation was made the day before arrival for Labor Day weekend, with another guest departing the property the same day you checked in. Our 5:00 PM check-in and 10:00 AM checkout times were disclosed prior to booking and are also included in the rental agreement you signed. That time between guests allows our housekeeping and inspection teams to properly prepare properties for incoming guests, particularly on busy turnover days. We also provide extensive photos of our properties online so guests can review the decor, furnishings, and overall style of a property before choosing to book. We understand that everyone's preferences are different, but the appearance of this condo was accurately represented in the listing. We do apologize that an area of the balcony was missed during cleaning and inspection. Our office is located directly across the street, and had you contacted us about this major concern, we would have been more than happy to have sent someone over to address it right away. Regarding checkout, we do not ask our guests to clean the property. We simply ask that trash be placed in the building's trash chute before departure, as outlined in the rental agreement. The cleaning fee covers the extensive cleaning and preparation performed by our housekeeping team between guests and is not a substitute for basic checkout requirements. Finally, the pool and common areas are managed by the condominium association and are shared with other guests and residents. Unfortunately, we cannot control the behavior of individuals using those areas. Had we been notified about the smoking or excessive noise; however, we would have gladly contacted the HOA of the building on your behalf. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we stand behind both the property as it was represented and the policies that were clearly provided prior to your stay. We hope you're able to find accommodations better suited to your preferences for your next visit to Pensacola Beach.
