The house and pool were lovely and very accommodating for two couples. The proximity via walking to restaurants, shopping, and the bus was wonderful. It was also a good location for day trips to other towns. Florence was a great host.
We had a wonderful time in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon and the house was perfect! We enjoyed spending time at the beautiful pool, playing with the cutest house cat Minette and walking to the charming town. The house was a perfect size for two couples and completed with everything we needed.
Beautiful property within a short walk of the village, shops, and restaurants. We stayed in the 2 bedroom house. Well equipped kitchen and nice showers. Both bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Short drive to Avignon and several supermarkets.
We had a wonderful time staying here. Everything is as pictured and very clean. Plenty of space for the four of us. This town is in a good area to explore many villages in Provence. The only suggestion is that check in could be a little earlier than 4:30pm. Thank you Florence.
Beautiful home with parking. Great spot to take day trips in the area. There are markets nearby to get groceries and supplies. You will have to buy your own soaps and cooking supplies. Lovely yard with beautiful landscaping.
My husband and I spent almost a week with our two adult sons in Villeneuve-les-Avignon and had a very pleasant time there. The house has everything one need such as a well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. At most we enjoyed the large pool and the beautiful garden! Just remember to bring something against mosquitos: the only disadvantage of this green oasis!
A gorgeous setting; large property walled in for peace and quiet, full of trees and plants. An easy walk to the small village for restaurants, shopping, and at least one museum. Private parking, easy to get out for touristing. Two bedrooms, two baths, well- equipped house. An a sweet natured resident cat. I’d go back in a heartbeat! Highly recommended for a Provence vacation.
The Orangey is a fabulous place to stay with fantastic views of the Fort Saint Andre in Villeneuve and Avignon and the mountains in the distance.
A beautiful well maintained property surrounded by fruit trees and lush greenery.
Wonderful location for visiting the surrounding areas and great restaurants within walking distance.
Florence was a charming host and happy to help if required.
The pool and terrace areas so fabulous we found it difficult not to stay all day.
We could happily stay in this little piece of heaven forever.
My wife and I have stayed in some wonderful VRBO homes all across Europe. This one tops them all. Nestled in a garden of palms and other exotic sun-loving greenery, the house is a short distance outside the ancient walls of Avignon in the small village of Villeneuve-les-Avignon. The house, the bedding, the decor and all appliances are first rate. The pool is the centerpiece of the gardens and provides a peaceful setting for the terrace. If you're looking for a quiet, safe, clean and memorable place from which to visit the Avignon region and nearby vineyards, this is a great find and Florence and Vincent are delightful hosts. We hope to return next summer.
A beautiful place, but our stay was marred by a heatwave that made life very difficult. The air- conditioning system could not cope with the 40C temperatures, so it was far too hot inside the house, and difficult to sleep. The water in the swimming pool was 34C, so not even possible to cool off.We had to stay inside in the dark with the blinds down to keep cool, and left 2 days early.Obviously not the fault of the owners, as the temperatures were unprecedented.Beautiful design inside and out. Easy parking inside the property, and walking distance to restaurants.Hope to be back at a cooler time of the year.

Ended, the temperatures were unusually warm at that time, but regarding the temperature in the house, you simply set the wrong program because when i retrieved the air conditioning remote control, you selected "heat" instead of "cool," which didn't lower the temperature. I feel sorry for you because you would have been perfectly cool into the house.
This property is absolutely beautiful. The house was perfect for 2 couples traveling together: Offering privacy, comfortable beds, clean in every respect and a well-equipped kitchen. We had the use of a garage inside the gated property. The pool and lush gardens surrounding it provided the perfect atmosphere to relax after a full day of sightseeing.
We can’t say enough good things about our lovely host, Florence. She was very responsive from our first contact and throughout our visit with lots of helpful information for our stay. The resident cat, Minette, was a sweetheart too who greeted us each morning and spent evenings keeping us company as we sat by the pool.
A piece of our hearts remain in La Maison de Caserie.
Merci, Florence for a most pleasurable stay!
This is an amazing property. As soon as you walk in you have this beautiful lush garden that opens up to an elegant swimming pool with beautiful and multiple seating options. The rooms are large and the kitchen is fully equipped. We went in Sept so it was not as hot as July but I can report the air conditioning works very well. Florence is delightful to speak with and is very good at keeping you informed. The location is excellent especially if you have a car because parking is behind a gate under a car porch so no worries about on street parking. It was so quiet and peaceful. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Get out of downtown Avignon and stay in this area you won't be disappointed.

A great place to stay!
My husband and I stayed for 9 nights and were really glad of our choice. The apartment (home, actually) was perfect for our long stay and situated in a good location. We walked in to the little village every day, took the bus in to Avignon multiple times, and drove to little towns around the area. We spent quite a few afternoons sitting poolside in the secluded garden and enjoying the tranquility. Our only disappointment was that it was not warm enough to swim in the private pool (and that I was eaten alive by mosquitos). A private parking spot and secluded gated entry was a bonus. Although we only used the downstairs area, it appears to be perfect for two couples (another bed/bath upstairs). We enjoyed all the restaurants nearby and did not cook (just toaster and microwave for quick breakfast or snack) but the kitchen seemed totally loaded for anyone who would want to cook. We did take advantage of the washing machine, which was welcome after a month of traveling. Florence was very nice to deal with and we would highly recommend this property for one or two couples. Thank you Florence!

Thank you very much Laurie, it was a pleasure for us too.
My husband and I spent 5 nights at this property in September this year. We could not fault it in any way. There are no surprises when arriving as the photographs are accurate and in many ways don't do the house and garden justice.
The location is perfect. It is easy walking distance to the village - which was also even better than expected. It is also locate close to roads out of town for day trips etc but once inside the garden and behind the trees and walls, it is a very peaceful location. The perfect combination of convenience and solitude.
Florence, the owner, was helpful and charming. It was a pleasure to meet her.
