Great country house with lots of charm and character, located in a unique area, secluded and quiet, with a beautiful view over the ocean and mountains, a few minutes walk away from the town centre.
It boasts:
On the ground floor: living area, fireplace, large kitchen, American-style bar, 1 bedroom (2 single beds) with en-suite shower room including 1 toilet.
Upstairs: 2 double bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms (including 1 with Jacuzzi bathtub) and 2 toilets, a sauna.

The villa and its pool are nestled in a wooded park where all the tree and shrub species of the Algarve grow.
In its garden, you will find rare rose bushes, agave and fruit trees.
At 460 m altitude, at a turn in a footpath the city of Monchique offers the spectacle of the sea, the freshness of crystal clear water crashing against the rocks, the orchards and terraced vegatable crops.

Heated swimming pool FREE of charge from March 15th to November 15th.

This is such a lovely villa in a quiet, beautiful part of Portugal. If you're looking for sleek and modern this won't be for you but if you're looking for rustic charm then you've come to the right place. The villa is quirky and spotlessly clean with a beautiful deep pool and endless fruit-filled gardens. The villa has everything you need and Eulalila was so very helpful. Both coasts are within easy reach by car and there are beautiful walks nearby. We would definitely come back.

The villa was snuggled in the woodland..soo peaceful, private and calm but close to supermarket and restaurants for all you need. Car is essential really due to access and busy road down to Monchique, but everything only a short drive away.Property full of character and traditional features...a real taste of Portugal with everything you need for a self catering hols. Pool is huge and deep so perfect for swimming. We arrived in a heatwave, so found ourselves living next to it to keep cool.Thanks for a lovely stay.

Comfortable cozy home in the peaceful hills above Monchique. Beautiful sunrises. Cooked most of our meals at the villa, well equipped kitchen. Easy, friendly communication with Pascal and Eulalia.

Super cosy and beautiful

The house is amazing, with cosy rooms and decor.The location is awesome for a chilled holidays.The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooked meals and it has a super nice outside space. We really enjoyed the stay and will definitely be booking the space again :)

Idyllic private getaway in the mountains

A beautiful property, very well equipped and an absolute tranquil setting with everything you could need within a 5 minute drive. Very private and remote off the tourist track a slice of heaven. Local restaurants are excellent too.

Beautiful private estate in Monchique

Nice traditional place on a large estate. Room for 2 couples had we known how spacious it was. Owners are very nice and helpful people and they have engaged a fantastic local property manager in the event that they are out of the country during a rental.

Unique Getaway

Charming and unique property minutes above Monchique. We had a lovely week here and enjoyed all aspects of this property. Eastern exposure gets the morning sun with shade splashing across the outside living areas by mid-afternoon. Walking distance to several excellent restaurants. Fabulous and highly recommended!

A beautiful property

This home was all it was cracked up to be, and more. The home is very spacious with many areas to hang out. The pool was pristine. The kitchen was extremely well appointed. We loved the sunroom. Check in and check out were made easy. We absolutely loved this place.

Lovely break and villa

Lovely villa with magnificent pool (deep) not ideal for younger children but great for swimming. Sauna added bonus and rooms tastefully decorated. Pascal and Eulalia hosted very discreetly but where there when needed. Thanks all for a wonderful visit. Restaurant at top of garden excellent, try the wild boar local delicacy.
