What an amazing find

The property itself had its own quirky typically spanish character and we loved it. Spotlessly clean, large comfortable beds and furnishings. The village is picturesque with a couple of bars and restaurants. The hosts could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended for a "get away from it all" relaxing holiday.

Great Time

45 min from the airport, 20 min to Maspalomas. Ideally situated for hiking and to explore the beautiful inlands. Nice and quiet, jacuzzi, heating and wifi worked all fine. There's a little shop with long opening hours in walking distance close by. Thank you Fatima for a great week!

fantastic ambiente

Gran Canaria is miniature continent that contains a lot of adventures and highlights of places of interest. Fataga is a central starting point to conquer the whole island. We had every day a new program an we enjoyed the ambiente in the mountains of GC. Fátima is a very helpful host for all issues you have during your stay in Fataga/GC and the house is arranged with all things you need in holidays. Internet, television and washing machne are you supporting in household, terrace and jacuzzi will be a perfect wellness oasis in the evening. Great, thank you Fátima!

Mysigt, lugnt o fräscht!

Väldigt mysig lägenhet! Har det man behöver för några dagar. Läget är tyst och lugnt i den vackra dalen. Det man saknar är att det inte finns någon kvällsöppen restaurarant. De två som finns stänger kl 17. En enklare finns vid bensinstationen men är inte så trevlig men de har enklare rätter.

Günstige Wohnung zwischen Meer und Bergen mit Whirlpool auf dem Dach

Unkomplizierter Empfang durch die Vermieterin Fatima. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem alten Reihenhaus in dem schönen Dorf Fataga. Wohnecke ist ok, Sat-TV und WLAN vorhanden. Küchenzeile ist mit Waschmaschine, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Zweiplattenherd ohne Ofen ausgestattet. Außerdem Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Saftpresse sowie Geschirr und Besteck ausreichend vorhanden. Leider wenig natürliches Licht in der Wohnung: nur ein Fenster zur (wenig befahrenen) Straße und eine Dachluke im Schlafzimmer, Glasbausteine (mit etwas Lichteinfall) über der Küchenzeile. Dusche ist sehr groß und komfortabel, Bad allerdings teilweise zur Wohnecke entlüftend. Highlight ist die (über eine Wendeltreppe erreichbare) Dachterrasse mit Whirlpool und Blick auf die Berge. Insgesamt sehr ruhig. Wegen der kleinen Defizite nur 4 von 5 Sternen, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist aber dennoch exzellent. Empfehlenswert für Leute, die mal in den Bergen wandern und mal einen Tag am Meer bzw. in den Dünen von Maspalomas (25 Min. Fahrzeit) verbringen wollen.

Location dans un beau village et bien située pour randonner

Le village de Fataga est idéalement situé entre la mer (cote sud) et le centre montagneux de l'île. La location est bien à l'écart de la route de San Bartholomé. Confort acceptable et équipements suffisants pour 2 personnes. Le séjour est un peu sombre mais une petite terrasse, accessible par un escalier, permet de profiter du soleil. Fataga étant dans une vallée, la terrasse était à l'ombre vers 18h début mars. Très bon accueil de la propriétaire.

Schön, dort zu sein.

Ein wirklich angenehmes, gut ausgestattetes Haus, sehr ruhig, sehr freundliche Besitzerin, wunderbare Gebirgsumgebung, außerordentlich schönes Dorf. Einziges Manko: Das Internet funktioniert manchmal nicht und ist eher schwach. Immerhin: zhlreiche deutsche TV-Programme (die immer funktionieren).

Authentische, typisch kanarische Unterkunft in wunderschönem Bergdorf.

Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war freundlich und unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft liegt in dem schönen Bergdorf "Fataga", ca. 25 Minuten entfernt von Maspalomas. Die Wohnung war sauber, aufgeräumt und geräumig. Die kleine Küche lässt kleinere Koch-Sessions zu. Der freundliche Nachbar hat uns Orangen aus seinem Garten geschenkt, die wir dann allmorgendlich zu leckerem, frisch gepressten Orangensaft umstetzen konnten. Die Terrasse im 1. OG lässt schöne Sternenhimmelblicke zu und die Gegend ist wunderbar ruhig und wirklich einen Besuch wert. Einziger kleiner Punkt war der Schreck als das Wasser in der Dusche kalt war, da der Boiler zuerst angeworfen werden musste. Das als kleiner Hint für die zukünftigen Besucher.

we stayed for one week and enjoyed an excellent holiday in the nice and well maintained house.

The central heating worked very well. This was necessary because the temperature fell sometines to below 10 °C. The terasse on top is wonderful.

Ideally situated between sea and mountains

The spacy appartment/house is perfectly situated in a lovely small village half way between sea and mountains. The hosts were very friendly, everything in the house was clean, all devices working reliably, completely quiet at night, and I did particularly enjoy the roof terrace in the morning when the sun started rising above the mountains. I can definitely recommend this place!
