Surrounded by greenery and overlooking one of the most evocative stretches of coastline in Sicily, our loft enjoys a unique and privileged location, with private access to the sea within the Cyclops Marine Protected Area. A truly special place where nature, the sea and comfort come together to offer an unforgettable stay.

With a pleasant 600–800 meter walk, you can easily reach the charming seaside villages of Aci Castello and Acitrezza, rich in restaurants, cafés, markets, shops, banks, post offices and rental services (bikes, canoes, cars). Everything you need is within walking distance, with no need for a car.

The location is also ideal for exploring Eastern Sicily: Catania and Acireale are just minutes away, while Taormina, Syracuse, Noto, Mount Etna, Caltagirone and Piazza Armerina are all easily accessible. Urban and intercity bus stops are located directly in front of the property, along with the Tourist Bus, allowing guests to move around comfortably and freely.

The seafront, considered one of the most beautiful in Italy, is fully equipped with beach clubs, solariums, diving centers, water sports facilities and boat rentals. Wonderful time at A I Castelo

We had great time at Horazio's place in Aci Castelo. The apartment is very well arranged. Horazio was very attentive and responsive to our requests. The apartment situated in a beautiful area over looking the sea,with short distance from Catania and Taormina. We recommend warmly this place.

We had a fantastic stay in Sicily and the accommodation was fantastic and ideally located near the Beach ( Rocky but with good access via various boardwalks where payment is required but well worth it ) Our host Orazio was brilliant and even helped us sort out repairing a puncture we suffered on the first day and then invited us to a party he was holding that evening, Highly recommended

Très bon accueil des propriétaires, très aidants. Le logement était très propre. Le jardin permet de manger et se détendre à l’ombre. Pas de piscine mais il suffit de traverser la route et on accède à la mer. Côte rocheuse où nous avons fait de belles séances de snorkeling avec nos ados dans la réserve marine. On peut très facilement aller à pied soit au beau village d’Aci Castello soit à Aci Trezza pour louer pédalo,paddle ou manger des glaces.

Perfect Condo in Aci Castello

Property was perfect for our family's stay. Very good location within walking distance of Aci Trezza and Aci Castello. Orazio communicated well before and during our stay - definitely an awesome and accomodating host. Gated onsite parking was a nice plus.

Delightful for Christmas sleepovers!

Orazio (owner) went the extra mile for us. Arriving in the dark, it was very difficult to locate, so, after WA-ing between us, he and his son stood out on the road to ‘direct’ us! Then throughout our stay he responded immediately when we had questions/concerns.... The apartment was as per the pics online. Spacious and light; the patio area well-screened with gorgeous mature plants.... Recommend highly. “We must come again” became our mantra!!!!

2 Wochen in Aci Trezza - Unterkunft okay aber für 2 Wochen zu wenig Komfort und zu laut

Zunächst einmal möchte ich betonen, dass der Vermieter sehr freundlich war und der Kontakt immer sehr nett war. Weiterhin möchte ich darauf hinweisen, dass unsere Bewertung aus UNSERER Sicht (deutsches Paar ohne Kinder, 35 Jahre) geschrieben ist und wir eventuell einen höheren Anspruch an Qualität haben. Ich finde faire und ehrliche Bewertungen wichtig da ich mich selbst darauf verlasse bei Buchungen, daher kann ich die anderen SEHR guten Bewertungen zu diesem Appartment nicht verstehen. Hier also unser ganz ehrlicher Blick auf die 2 Wochen vor Ort: Pro: - netter Kontakt zum Vermieter, er ist immer erreichbar - problemloser Check-in am Anreisetag - großes Appartment mit viel Platz - schön angelegter Vorgarten - funktionierende Klimaanlage - helle, offene Räume - Privatsphäre obwohl die Vermieter direkt darüber wohnen - Parkplatz direkt vor dem Appartment auf dem Privatgelände, daher sehr sicher - Supermarkt zu Fuß erreichbar sowie auch diverse gute Restaurants in den 2 benachbarten Ortschaften - In nur 50Min (mit dem Auto) am Ätna Con: - es ist unheimlich laut! Eine größere Straße geht direkt vor dem Haus entlang und dort ist ständiger Verkehr, auch nachts. Ich konnte aufgrund der Lautstärke sehr schlecht schlafen. - zur Lautstärke: man hört im Appartment ständig den Wasserheizer (Boiler) bzw. das laute Quietschen, wenn jemand der Familie des Vermieters oben in ihrer Wohnung einen Wasserhahn aufdreht oder duscht. Das geht leider von 7:30 morgens bis 23:30 abends... uns hat das sehr gestört, weil man auch immer davon aufgewacht ist. - Ausstattung: die Betten waren für unsere Verhältnisse sehr unbequem, die Kopfkissen sind keine richtigen Schlafkissen, eher Deko-Kissen. Wir haben daher eher schlecht geschlafen. Da wir die Insel eh noch erkunden wollten, haben wir 5 von 14 Nächten spontan in anderen Appartments in anderen Städten übernachtet, daher war es am Ende nur halb so schlimm. - Ausstattung: das Bad ist leider in die Jahre gekommen... die Toilette war kaputt (der Sitz ist immer verrutscht), die Duschkabine ist nicht richtig zugegangen (daher auch undicht) und war super klein. An der Wand im Bad war Schimmel im Eck zu sehen. - Ausstattung Couch: über die Couch sind Tücher gespannt damit man den eigentlichen Zustand der Couch nicht sofort sieht. Die Sitzflächen hängen nach unten und man kann dort eigentlich gar nicht richtig sitzen. - Falscher Eindruck durch die Bilder des Inserates: es gibt keinen eigenen Pool

Posizione ottima sia per recarsi al mare, sia per arrivare a piedi ad Acitrezza dove si trova di tutto: dal supermercato ai negozi di ogni genere ai bar e ai ristoranti. Molto piacevole l’appartamento con la grande vetrata vista mare e il giardino dove si può comodamente fare colazione pranzo e cena. Proprietari molto ospitali e disponibili! Ci tornerei!

Lovely property, very well situated and the owners were extrememly helpful and kind.

Property was ideally situated in Aci Castello with great road access to various sites on the east side of Sicily. Catania was only 15 minutes drive away. The property was clean, with great facilities and the owners were delightful and very helpful. Aci Castello and Aci Terza have great restaurants whic are no more than 5/10 minutes walk from the property. I would highly recommend this property.

Compact maar fijn appartement

Mooi en eenvoudig appartement. Wij waren met vijf personen en dat is max. Door slimme indeling met schuifdeuren kan de tweepersoons slaapkamer visueel bij de zitkamer en keuken worden getrokken. Door glazen gevel ruim en licht gevoel. Eigenaar woont er boven. Met handen en voeten en half Engels valt goed te communiceren. Erg behulpzaam. Fijn terras met voldoende zon en schaduw. Op loopafstand van aci trezza en aci castello. Snel in Catania En ongeveer een uur van Taormina omdat het aan een doorgaande weg ligt.

Ferienwohnung Fam. Orazia Blanco

Die Wohnung entspricht in vollem Umfang der Beschreibung. Besonders schön ist der Garten und die Terrasse. Vermieter sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück vorhanden und durch ein stabiles Tor abgesichert. Der Ort und das Meer sind innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr gute Fischrestaurants und Bars mit herrlicher Aussicht auf die Cyclopenfelsen. Das einzig Störende war eine Baustelle nebenan.

Location à retenir

L'appartement est propre et bien agencé. La climatisation est efficace, et la terrasse très agréable. Bien situé pour visiter la Sicile de Taormine à Syracuse. De plus Orazio et sa femme sont très accueillants.

Heerlijk verblijf met de gastvrije Oratio

Wij hebben een fijne week gehad in het appartement onder het huis van Oratio in Aci Castello. Een mooi appartement met een heerlijk terras omgeven door prachtige beplanting. Het appartement biedt alle comfort die je nodig hebt om je verblijf aangenam te maken. Het huis ligt op loopafstand van een leuke kleine haven met daaromheen allerlei leuke restaurants. Verder is het een goed uitgangspunt om leuke trips te maken naar bijv. Catania en Syracuse

Orazio and his entire family are very kind and hospitable. They made us feel very welcome, but respected our privacy. The appartment was nice and clean. The terrace ia a picture. The surroundings are very suitable for people who love the sun and sea, but there also is a lot to do and see. For the latter a car is advisible. I would have given 4,5 star out of 5, but there doesn't seem to be that possibility. We enjoyed our stay very much, thanks Orazio

Abbiamo soggiornato nel loft di Aci Trezza per le feste di fine Anno. L'appartamento è accogliente, luminosissimo e arredato con gusto. Un giardino attrezzato e discreto lo impreziosisce ancora di più. I proprietari sono stati cortesi e disponibili provvedendo a tutte le necessità della casa affinchè la nostra vacanza procedesse nel migliore dei modi. Appartamento decisamente consigliato: se il soggiorno è stato così piacevole in inverno immagino quanto lo possa essere durante la lunga estate siciliana visto che si trova letteralmente a due passi dal mare e dal centro di Aci Trezza.

Emplacement idéal!

Appartement idéal pour visiter la côte est de la Sicile, les propriétaires ont été très à l'écoute et serviables, nous ont conseillés sur les visites à faire et les restos. L'appart se trouve tout près de la mer (accès direct à pied après avoir traversé la rue principale) et à 10mn à pied d'Aci Trezza et d'aci Castello par le front de mer qui est magnifique avec d'un côté les îles du cyclope et de l'autre le château normand d'Aci Castello. Beau souvenir d'une baignade dans la mer Ionienne un 24 octobre!

Lovely apartment in lovely location

We have just returned from a wonderful week in this apartment and hope very much to return next year. It is just as pictured, tastefully furnished and very clean, and the patio garden surrounded by tropical plants is lovely. The owners are very jolly, welcoming and helpful, while respecting their guests' privacy (they live upstairs in what is a 2 storey villa). The location in the edge of Acitrezza is very good - it only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the nearest beach, 10 minutes to the centre of Acitrezza and about 25 minutes to Acicastello. There is a choice of many good restaurants and bars in Acitrezza and and a number of beach clubs nearby, plus various points where you can access the sea for free. Everywhere there are beautiful views and the sea is the best I've ever swum in. You don't need a car unless you are planning to tour a lot - we got a taxi there from Catania airport (E50) only because we were arriving quite late, but got the bus back which was absolutely fine for a total of E5 each. Highly recommended!
