L'arthour

We had a lovely holiday, the children enjoyed seeing the cows in the field, and watching the milking. Very peaceful location. Nicole and Jacques were very welcoming. Beds a little bit soft for our liking, and quite a few flies, which is a part of farm life, that we hadn't really thought about. Many thanks

We hebben twee heerlijke weken gehad! De gite is van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaren erg vriendelijk en gastvrij en de kinderen hebben genoten van de dieren en het trekker rijden. De omgeving is prachtig en er is veel te doen. Kortom een aanrader!!

Parfait accueil

Accueil très sympathique des propriétaires. Apéritif offert dans leur maison, riz au lait maison et lait frais tous les matins, nous nous sommes régalés ! Maison bien placée pour profiter de la Normandie (plages du débarquement, Mont St Michel, St Malo…) Cependant, la maison a subi un dégât des eaux qui laisse une odeur d’humidité permanent qui n’est pas très agréable. Une des 4 chambres est vraiment petite, sans store occultant (aucun volets nul part), ce qui est un peu gênant. La découverte du monde de la ferme était très intéressante et Ulysse, la chienne adorable !

A pleasant stay on the farm! /Un séjour agréable à la ferme!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gîte et Nicole et Jacques nous ont très bien accueillis: lait frais chaque matin, visite de la ferme, recommandations de visites dans la région. Merci aussi pour le riz au lait et la crème à la vanille! We had an excellent stay in the cottage and Nicole and Jacques made us feel very welcome: fresh milk every morning, a visit to the dairy farm, recommendations for visits in the area. Many thanks also for the rice pudding and vanilla cream dessert!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine au gîte de l'Arthour. Jacques et Nicole sont des hôtes accueillants, tres gentils et sympathiques qui nous ont fait découvrir avec passion leur ferme et leur métier. Les enfants ont apprécié de pouvoir aller voir les veaux et Vaillant, le cheval, à leur guise. Ils ont également pu découvrir et assister à la traite des vaches sans oublié le fameux tour en tracteur. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de notre séjour !

Super séjour au calme

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au vert. L accueil et les attentions des hôtes étaient fort appréciables. Nous nous sommes sentis très à l'aise et chouchoutés. Geweldig huis naast een boerderij. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De eigenaren zijn fantastisch, ook voor de kinderen. Als we weer naar Normandie gaan, gaan we zeker dit huis weer huren.

Séjour en famille

Maison idéale pour un séjour avec enfants. Accueil très cordial. Un riz au lait maison délicieux nous attendait. Les enfants ont pu assister à la traite des vaches, voir les veaux, faire un tour de tracteur... La plage est à 20 min. Prévoir tout de même dans les bagages : sel, poivre, torchons, liquide vaisselle...les petits essentiels. Les draps de lits sont à 10€ par lit. La maison a 4 grandes chambres très propres, la salle de bain est très pratique avec sa baignoire et sa douche. Nous conseillons cette maison de campagne pour un séjour au calme. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Nous avons passé 4 jours très agréables chez les Turgis. L'endroit est superbe et calme, et notre fille a beaucoup apprécié de pouvoir participer à la traite des vaches, caresser les veaux, faire des câlins à Gamma la chienne (adorable !) et surtout faire des promenades avec le cheval Vaillant aux alentours de la ferme ! Les Turgis sont discrets et chaleureux et savent faire partager l'amour de leur métier. Bref, nous reviendrons dès que possible !

Magnifique séjour à la campagne

Magnifique ferme au calme. Accueil plus qu’attentioné de la part de Nicole et Jacques qui ont partagé leur enthousiasme et leur amour de leur métier avec nous et nos enfants (14 et 9 ans) qui ont pu traire les vaches, nourrir les veaux et conduire le tracteur! Magnifique ballade au bord d’un ruisseau dans les alentours, châteaux etc...Sur les excellents conseils de nos hôtes, nous avons découverts de belles plages ou le jardin Christian Dior à Grandville. Le gite est bien aménagé, en particulier les chambres et la salle de bain sont très confortables. Nous avons apprécié la terrasse et la table de Ping Pong. Micro bémol: la cuisine pourrait être rafraîchie et l’éclairage amélioré. Séjour plus que recommandé!!!

Charming farm stay deep in France’s gorgeous countryside

We spent a week on The Turgis dairy farm with me, my husband, Mom and 3 kids ages 3,6 &8. They were gracious hosts that showed us around the milking operation, their beautiful farm and even brought us fresh milk daily! We used this as a respite between visiting the D-Day beaches, Mont St. Michel and the surrounding area. It was quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. Make sure to note they don’t include sheets, but can rent them for the stay per night. We also had to pay a $250 cash deposit, but received it back at checkout. If you are looking for a calm farm stay, this is your place. 10 minute drive from a town with amenities. It’s just adorable and would stay again. They welcomed us and worked through our google translator and we got to know all the surrounding interesting sites and specifics. Thank you!!!

Super semaine de vacances

Nous avons passé la semaine du jour de l’an avec 3 enfants. Semaine agréable et enrichissante. Les enfants se sont éclatés. Monsieur et Madame TURGIS sont très accueillants et disponibles. Ils ont fait découvrir leur activité aux enfants (vêlage, traîte des vaches...). Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Attention à un point : pas d’accès internet dans le gîte (mais on s’en passe sans problème)

Authentic farm experience

Authentic farm experience- this is a wonderful place to say. The host Jaque and Nicole we sweet and helpful. They run a dairy farm on the property. Comfortable beds, we build a fire in the farm house kitchen. Very special, not for the average traveler.
