About this property

The Dairy Trullo On Top Of A Hill, In The Heart Of A Village

We recently found out from a woman born in this Masseria in the 1930’s that this trullo was used to make and smoke cheese hence its name. This building has been transformed from the original dairy of this ancient masseria into a small studio holiday home.This is the smallest and most basic of the holiday homes we offer for a couple to enjoy a rural experience.
Under the traditional trullo roof there is a double bed.
In the same room in an alcove there is a table and chairs, on one side there is a sink, on the other side there is a 2 ring hob, an electric oven and grill.
Through the door there is a private toilet with bidet and walk in shower.
Just outside on the terrace there are some garden furniture, a small table, 2 chairs, deck chairs and umbrella.

Magical little place in a magical area

The trullo was beautiful, clean, comfortable, well equipped, well located to explore the area from a remote and quiet base (as long as you have a car). Great communication and responsiveness from the host.

Quaint peaceful stone cottage awaits!

Found this wonderful place to stay after reviewing several Trulli in the area. I wanted to be in a quiet area away from the tourist crowds, this was the perfect spot. This location will require you to have GPS to get around as the streets are not easily labeled. Perfect retreat for a week stay either solo or couple. Wonderful host, very accommodating!

Excellent Trullo ,rural ,Ianella ideal as close enough to several cities for site seeing .San Marco close by for basic shopping . Ivette our host spoke fluent and very polite and friendly We will return with friends when possible

Lovey Trullo outside Locorotondo

Everything was lovely. Peaceful and quiet, clean and spacious. Lovely to stay in an authentic Trullo. Ivette was a gracious host and very accommodating. Beware that is is a little isolated but there’s a mini market nearby where you can buy supplies. LOCOROTONDO nearby is a gem.

Trullo in the countryside

Communication was great from booking until the morning we left (stayed 3 nights). Certainly quaint and quiet as the Trullo is not in a city/town however a 20 minute drive to Locorotondo, Alberobello and Fasano. Recommend La Neviera for dinner (two very nice meals there). Ivette the host was amazing! Quick to respond and kept open communication during our stay. The Trullo was exactly as described and we enjoyed the quaintness, the quiet and the adventure in a 600 year old structure

Trulli Delightful

A Trulli unique experience. Problem with remoteness and finding the property, but apart from that the location added to an authentic experience and the beauty of the countryside and the solitude and remoteness added to the experience. Trulli was very small but had everything one would expect. Yvette (the Hostess) was amazing in all her efforts to accommodate us and make our stay even more memorable,

True Trulli

The Trulli was just as the picture shows. Very quaint and very nice surroundings. Not sure if was the time of year but there were lots of mosquitoes so sitting out in the evening was not an option. With AC you need to leave the two windows open to get a breeze but it was not great with all the dogs barking at night. The host was great and the experience of sleeping in a Trulli was so good.

Séjour dans les pouilles

Très joli Trullo situé au sommet d’une colline. Lieu calme et reposant qui permet aussi de partir visiter les villages alentours. Très belle région. La mer n’est pas très loin et découvrir l’arrière pays et ses trulli est un vrai plaisir. Pour ne rien gâter les gens sont gentils et la nourriture très bonne. Notre hôtesse Ivette est très à l’écoute et attentive. Merci de son accueil.

Una permanenza molto gradevole

Il trullo è molto carino, pulito, calmo e pratico. Peccato che non abbiamo incontrato Ivette, chi è un padrone molto accomodante. La communicazione era chiara e fluida. Arrivare al trullo è stato facilissimo. Abbiamo anche goduto della campagna intorno e dei gatti che ci vivono :) Raccomandiamo senza esitazione!

Relax nel cuore della Valle d’Itria

Location molto gradevole e tranquilla posizionata nel cuore della valle d’Itria tra olivi e terre rosse ci ha regalato un’esperienza unica e affascinante. Da qui è possibile raggiungere le località principali agevolmente in alcune decine di minuti. Consigliatissimo!!!

Perfect getaway into the quiet and beautiful. Cozy trullo, spacious garden with a view, olive trees everywhere, and hardly anyone around... Heavenly for getting the most of the nature. The nearby towns are charming, the beaches are withing short driving distance. Ivette has been an easy-going, very accommodating host. Definitely a place to come back to!

Peaceful, pretty trullo

We had a wonderful stay in this little trullo, just right for two. We enjoyed the barbecue and alfresco eating. The location of the trullo is perfect with the village of San Marco just 2 km away. There is a brilliant little shop there that sold everything we needed and a very nice cafe and bar. Locorotundo is a beautiful hilltop town with lots of restaurants and the coast is close with its plethora of beaches from which to choose. Ivette gave us lots of information but would point out that it took us a while to find the wi-fi code as the numbers in the book were incorrect! A very relaxing and enjoyable stay in this part of Italy.
