Built in 2014, home is surrounded by mountains, minutes from town and steps away from the golf course, this gorgeous luxury home sits lakeside amid the breathtaking Elk Mountains in Crested Butte, CO. This is a 3000SF home with four bedrooms and 3.5 baths. A stunning open gourmet kitchen, large gathering room and master bathroom with steam shower, large tub and a dual sink vanity are to die for.

After a busy day of adventures in Crested Butte you can come home and enjoy the outdoor hot tub nestled near the lake just steps from the backdoor with expansive views of the surrounding mountains. Afterwards relax fireside in the Great room with vaulted ceilings, Douglas fir beams, reclaimed hardwood floors, and in-floor radiant heating. Equipped with a large screen ROKU streaming TV, internet video services using the wireless network or your Bluetooth compatible devices, and Sonos music system. There is also a cozy reading nook upstairs. WiFi is available throughout the house.

The large, bright kitchen has all the modern amenities a top chef requires with a gas cook top, large oven with convection capability, as well as a microwave oven. Surrounded by windows, you can enjoy spectacular views of your mountain paradise while cooking. A custom granite eat-in counter-top adjoins the dining room with seating for eight. The open concept floor plan makes entertaining a snap in the adjoining great room. High end finishes abound with travertine tile, custom refinished barn wood flooring and wainscoting, massive exposed wood beams, radiant floor heating with fresh air exchanger and Edison lighting.

The first floor Master Suite has a luxurious king size memory foam bed with spacious storage and another HDTV. The master bathroom has a large tub, large steam shower and dual sink vanity. The upstairs has one junior master suite with a queen bed and private bathroom. The second upstairs bedroom also has a queen bed and it shares a large dual sink vanity full bathroom with the third upstairs bedroom, appointed with a set of twin beds. Upstairs bedrooms have spacious closets and blackout window treatments in case you want to sleep in. There is an abundance of storage space throughout and a massive laundry/utility room located on the second floor with views of the Butte.

We fell in love with this home and Crested Butte on our first visit. We hope you feel like you have just moved into your own vacation home...and that you will want to return often. There are amazing sites and activities year round and you will love your new neighbors. This is such a welcoming community!

My family has stayed at a lot of VRBO properties - this one is the best. Awesome location just a few minutes to town by car, beautiful view, nice furniture, very comfortable beds and linens, and a SERIOUSLY stocked kitchen. This owners must use this house a lot because it has everything anyone could need.

This property is perfect for friends and family groups. It has a large, fully equipped kitchen, large living area, and a beautiful outside sitting area with a view of Crested Butte. We utilized every square inch, including the hot tub! The beds are all comfortable, and with the windows open, you will be perfectly comfortable in the summer. I love this location - it's quiet and still near enough to town to be convenient. If you have bikes, you can access the trail to town, and not even bother to park. This property seems to be highly sought after, so book ahead!

Incredible Stay in December 2024

Couldn’t have imagined a better experience. House is beautiful and honestly looks even better than in the pictures! We were there in the heart of Winter and got 2 full days of snow! House was easy to find and incredibly well maintained. The host was incredibly responsive and the property manager was there each day it was necessary to shovel snow out of the driveway. The hot tub was also incredible!! We absolutely enjoyed our experience and made some great memories there. Family plans on headed back to stay at that house. Very close to town. Anyone who books will have the best time and have no regrets whatsoever!

This is the best vacation rental we have ever had, and we would love to come again. We all were amazed that someone would allow strangers to enjoy such a beautiful home. Everything was perfect, and here are only a few of the aspects that we enjoyed - a quiet location with a spectacular view within minutes of town. A spacious and thoughtfully decorated home. Great common areas both inside and out where we hung out and laughed and told stories, a kitchen with every possible pan and plenty of coffee cups and wine glasses. Debbie was super responsive. We loved browsing through the books on Crested Butte and cooking.

Amazing!!

Our stay was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 (3 kids ages 3, 6 and 8). The layout of the house worked wonderful and we had more than enough room to spread out and enjoy. We loved the back patio that overlooked the lake and had a great view of the mountains. Our kids enjoyed the neighborhood and scootered around and enjoyed the cute playground. They also went fishing in the lake and walked around the path in the evenings. The location was great too and close to town and the mountain. It was the perfect trip and we will definitely be coming back to this house again!! Highly recommend. It’s better than we ever expected and was also very well stocked with everything you can imagine! The kitchen had plenty of everything and it was all well labeled and organized. Such a great home and very well done & comfortable!!

Crested Butte is lovely

The house is perfect for a large family. We appreciate having a master bedroom that is sound proof (almost) from the 4-7 year olds. Since we are bike riders the 3 miles into town via bike path is a perfect adventure. The property has added a outdoor table umbrella which allows one to use the west-facing patio in the evenings. Recycling has finally come to the area. The house needs to add this to their venue. We have returned for our third year.

We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed every second at this beautiful, well-appointed mountain home. The owner has thought of every last detail for a comfortable, relaxing and easy stay (loved the digital guide, very handy). The kitchen is perfectly laid out and very well-stocked. We did not want for anything - it was all there and more! Gorgeous alpine gardens surround the property which overlooks a pond and offers long mountain views. We loved our morning walks around the pond with the grandkids and the private backyard hot tub was a hit for all ages. Pickleball courts and a playground down the street were an added bonus. Bring bikes if you can, as the ride into town is short and direct. Thank you Debbie -- we hope to be back next summer!

Everything you need to enjoy CB!

My family and I had an amazing week in CB at this gorgeous home! We enjoyed evenings cooking and eating together at the table (kitchen had everything we needed)! Our kids loved the hot tub and jumping in on the cooler evenings. They also went fishing right there at the lake and would run over to the swings just down the road almost every morning! While many of our longer hikes required a drive into the mountains (the Maroon Bells hike off Schofield pass was AMAZING), there are also excellent trails in walking distance from the house. We enjoyed Bruck Creek down the road. We also rented bikes for a few days and our kids loved riding into town and exploring the pump track by the school and grabbing lunch and ice cream downtown. Just a short bike ride into town. Lastly, the steam shower was such a treat! We highly recommend this wonderful property to any family or group and hope to be back soon!

Beautiful Home in Perfect location

We had such a wonderful time. The home is beautiful and comfortable. The house is equipped with everything you need. It is situated in a lovely neighborhood and backs up to a small lake. The location is perfect for relaxing and quiet but also a short 2 mile drive to the town of Crested Butte. We were there with our adult children to celebrate the holiday weekend. Everyone loved it. We enjoyed lots of family time on the beautiful patio surrounded by the mountains of Crested Butte. Idyllic vacation!

Beautiful home and property. Prettier than the pictures. Tasteful decorations throughout. Extremely clean. Amazing Mountain Views. Home well stocked. Hot tub and steam shower were wonderful. 60 inches of snow in a week. Close to town and ski resort. Hope to return in the summer.

We fell in love with Crested Butte on our first visit! The community is so friendly and welcoming. There are so many activities to do all year round. With each changing season the beauty of nature changes as do the outdoor activities. We wanted to secure a part of this for our retirement years and decided to buy a piece of it so that when we reach that time in our lives we can enjoy Crested Butte full time. We hope you enjoy it too and want to return often.

When we walked in this home and saw the lake in the back with the reflection of the mountains and the surrounding views this home afforded us, we knew we had to have it!
