Beautiful property! We stayed in October when the leaves were turning. The outside spaces are perfect for gathering and soaking in the beauty by the river. The indoor spaces have great light, it was a good size for our family.

This house is perfectly located on the Arkansas River, with stone steps down to the river walk; and it is within easy walking distance to downtown Salida. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and appliances, with plenty of counter space. Beds were comfortable, with the minor exception of the couch bed in the living room—but that would’ve probably been better if we had realized it was an “air/coil mattress” which needs to be inflated a bit (this wasn’t readily apparent).The hot tub on the lower deck, overlooking the Arkansas, was so convenient and comfortable that we skipped our planned trip to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs.Overall, this was a great place to stay.

This property was excellent for my family. The grandkids loved the playground only 2 blocks away, the Aquatic Center was a big hit. Lots of good restaurants with takeout option. The Sand Dunes are a must see and the kiddos loved the Gator Farm.

Family Vacation in the Mountains

Perfect Getaway

This place was perfect. Loved the big kitchen, so well appointed with anything you could need. The big dining table was perfect to have a meal and do a puzzle. The views were amazing. Absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back!

Downriver House

The home is very nice and the location is great. A few steps down and you’re on the River walk and only a couple blocks to downtown Salida.
