Bare Hugs is away from it all, tucked away in the stately trees of Bluff Mountain, yet close to everything. The cabin is ten minutes from Pigeon Forge and Wears Valley!
We are 2.2 miles / ten minutes away from The Trillium wedding venue

Beautiful decor will make your stay delightful and romantic, a far cry from impersonal rentals. We have made Bare Hugs a hideaway haven for the two of you with a private hot tub in back, a large King bed inside, and a cozy swing in front. A fenced backyard and lots of room in the front is tailor made for your beloved pets to freely explore the land with you, so bring up to two with you! Bare Hugs is fully welcoming to you, your significant other and your pet.

Cable and free Wifi is included in your stay; enjoy the hot tub for two and a quiet porch to while away the time after a busy day in the park or exploring all Pigeon Forge has to offer.

The bedroom has a King bed and a pull out couch is available in the living area so you can bring the kids. A stone fireplace with wood provided will keep you warm all winter or just provide that extra bit of romance in the evenings.

Great cabin

This cabin was perfect for our visit. It is in a great location, with easy access to all of the area attractions, yet secluded enough to relax outdoors and enjoy the natural beauty. Evererything is well maintained, and spotless upon our arrival.

We didn’t use the hot tub. The cabin was pet friendly. The fenced yard was nice but I do have tint dogs do the opening was wide enough for them to get through. We used fire wood to block the opening. The cabin was clean but there wasn’t a swifter or mop and with pets I fee you do need a mop available.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bare Hugs Cabin! We loved it so much that it was difficult leaving! The cabin is very peaceful, cozy, and put together so well! Duke and Linda were wonderful hosts! For our next vacation to the Smoky Mountains, we will definitely look to book again!

Amazing cabin

The owners were awesome, this is probably the best cabin we've been too. The furniture was comfortable, the bed was nice. The hot tub was amazing. Our weekend was cold but the cabin was very cozy. We'll definitely be back.

Adorable Cabin

We spent Labor Day weekend at this charming cabin and loved it! The attention to detail was exceptional, and the little extras for our dog were much appreciated. The furniture and bed were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the hot tub was a highlight. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this cabin. It’s conveniently close to local attractions, but make sure to follow the host's directions, as GPS can be misleading.

The cabin is exactly as described. Perfect getaway for two and extra bonus of being pet friendly let us bring our dog. The area is beautiful and the cabin is clean and well stocked with anything you could need. The owners were great with communications. Would highly recommend and definitely would return.

Bare Hugs in the Smoky Mountains

Our stay at Bare Hugs was wonderful. Check in process was easy, the cabin was sparkling clean with a fully stocked kitchen, high quality linens, a very comfortable bed and located in a picturesque and peaceful location. Plenty of privacy for a quiet, relaxing getaway, but also close to all the activities and attractions in the Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Just What We Were Looking For

This is a perfect cabin for a couple. It is well equipped, well kept and in a good area. We’ve always enjoyed the Wears area. If you have a pet, it is pet friendly with a nice dog run in the back yard. We did not have our pet with us but having this area we’d consider it next time. Duke was responsive to all our questions. Great hosts. Glad we found this cabin!

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

From the moment we walked into Duke and Linda’s cabin we felt at home. This cozy little cabin is clean, very tastefully decorated, every attention to detail taken into account. Nothing was lacking, paper products, abundance of towels and wash clothes, cooking items (though we only made coffee lol), everything you would need or want is provided. The front porch was our favorite coffee spot and our weekend in this cozy cabin in the woods was perfect. Duke and Linda were always a text or message away making sure we had all we needed. My only suggestion to future guests will be to get there at daylight the first day lol (we got there at 8:30 pm) and listen to Duke’s directions for getting to the cabin, gps will be wrong, we tested the gps our 2nd day there to see and Duke was right, it’ll get you lost.

Perfect Pet Friendly Mountain Cabin

This cabin was superb. I’d never been to the Smoky Mountains region and this cabin was the first stop on that experience and it completely set the tone for our entire trip. It’s very close to Pigeon Forge (15 min drive tops and we had snow and it was still a short drive). Duke gave us additional directions to avoid any rough snowy roads for our arrival trip which was super thoughtful and helpful. He checked in on us during the stay to make sure we didn’t need anything or had any questions. He was accessible the entire duration of the stay. The cabin is well equipped for all cooking. We used everything available from the coffee maker to the back deck grill. We made all of our meals at this cabin and didn’t feel that we were lacking anything. The decor is cozy and thoughtfully detailed in every aspect. We enjoyed the fireplace almost every night and never ran out of dry wood. The hot tub is wonderful, we utilized it several times a day. Fast WiFi allowed me to work when needed. Our dogs also enjoyed the gated front deck and the fenced back yard for potty breaks and romps. The cabin supplied multiple dog dishes for meals and water and ever dog toys and snacks which was helpful when we first arrived and hadn’t unpacked. There’s a ton of stores and shops for food just down a couple scenic mountain roads. The cabin is private, while there are neighboring cabins, we never heard any other guests. We highly recommend this cabin, and have booked our next trip!

10/10 Amazing, cozy cabin close enough to the main drag and yet secluded enough to decompress in the evenings. Cabin is well stocked with all the amenities you'd need for cooking. Everything is clean and lovely autumnal decorations. Amazing accommodations for our puppers. Duke & Linda were gracious, kind and welcoming hosts and we woukd consider ourselves lucky to rent from them again!!

Beautiful cabin

The owners out did themselves on making this cabin so welcoming. It was very clean and the decor made it feel like a home and not just a rental. I really like how they have it pet friendly having the safety gates on the deck. Our fur baby Maxx also enjoyed the stay. They supplied everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. We were there 7 days for a long awaited vacation that helped us relax from our busy lives. Will definitely be going back.

This cabin has a wonderful, central location and charm. I loved the backyard where couples can bring their pet along on vacation and not have to worry about them and I loved the spacious front yard that creates privacy and a welcoming outdoor haven for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life.
