Wonderful apartment near the sea and Palermo

Casa Strelitzie is the largest of the six cottages facing the baglio. It sleeps up to 6 guests across two levels.

On the ground floor, there is a spacious double-height kitchen with a fireplace, a recently renovated bathroom with a comfortable shower, a double bedroom, and a living room overlooking the baglio—which was once the old stable, where the stone feed troughs are still visible—furnished with a sofa bed.

Most of the furnishings in the house are family heirlooms and have been deliberately left in place by the owners to preserve the home’s warm, historic atmosphere.

On the upper floor, accessible via a wooden staircase, there is a double bedroom and a bathroom. Thanks to the fully functional fireplace and the heat/cool air conditioners, the house is suitable for both summer holidays and winter getaways.

The house also features a large terrace shaded by a fragrant, ancient jasmine vine intertwined with a majestic American grapevine, offering a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Castellammare and furnished with a dining table and a barbecue.

The house also opens onto a large outdoor area with a lawn surrounded by dozens of ancient “Strelitzia Reginae” plants, where you can enjoy the picturesque view, especially at sunset.
