About this property
Beautiful coastal Maine home
Our home was built in 2001 with a stunning open-concept first floor that features beautiful hardwood floors. Natural light streams in through the large windows. With ample outdoor space for yard games, reading in the sun, or taking in a beautiful sunset, you will fall in love with this quintessential Maine waterfront home.
The first floor boasts a full kitchen with two seating options - bar seats at the counter (soapstone countertops), as well as a dining table. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, dishwasher, and cabinets fully stocked with dishware, silverware, and pots and pans. There is a walk-in pantry with a microwave and coffee maker. Help yourself to any of the kitchen staples you may have forgotten. We usually keep handy items such as cereal, peanut butter, tuna fish, condiments, etc.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a casual sitting area with a plush couch for lounging, reading, or napping, as well as two sitting chairs for casual conversation. Cozy up to the wood stove on chilly coastal nights! There is firewood in the garage. There is also a reading/TV room on the first floor with a television, daybed, and sitting/reading chairs. Feel free to log in to your streaming accounts and enjoy your favorite shows as you relax and unwind. The first floor also features a laundry room with washer and dryer, as well as a full bathroom. Luxuriate in the spa-like rainfall shower!
The second floor has three bedrooms, all with ceiling fans and walk-in closets. The first bedroom has a full-size bed and faces the driveway. The second bedroom has two twin beds, great for kids, and faces the side of the house (two inflatable air mattresses are available in the closet of this bedroom as well). The master bedroom faces the water, with large windows, a queen bed, and dresser. Peruse the multitude of books and find a great title to relax with!
In the yard there are plenty of options for outdoor seating, relaxing, and socializing with family or friends. Sip your coffee on the front porch and enjoy the warm morning rays. Check out the wrap-around porch that overlooks the backyard and water, or have an afternoon cocktail on the back porch as the sun descends over the cove. There are also Adirondack chairs closer to the water if you really want to get away and enjoy some peaceful time with a book (or for a nap!).
Additional amenities include a garage which houses wood for the stove, trash receptacles, and a gas or charcoal grill for outdoor cooking! This picturesque home was featured in "Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors" magazine and is truly an oceanfront gem on the coast of Maine.
