We really enjoyed this peaceful quiet location with it's beautiful mountain views. The home is just as nice as the photos show. I would highly recommend this location for groups of 7-10 for a great getaway.
Chad, our host was fantastic. Very accessible and very helpful. The cabin is so beautiful and perfect. I love how it's not on a busy road, yet easy to get to. The fall foliage was incredible. I HIGHLY recommend this place:) Thank you Chad!
Cabin was excellent. Host was extremely helpful and friendly! The view could not be beat! We will be back and are already thinking about our next trip!
This was our second time to stay here. Cabin was very clean both times as well the hot tub. Chad is very quick to respond to any questions we had and itinerary. The view from the deck is outstanding for morning coffee or quiet sunsets. We really appreciate the effort taken to make sure our stay is satisfactory and enjoyable. Thanks...

Everything was of the highest quality
We stayed here with 2 other families (6 adults and 5 young children - oldest 3.5) and had a wonderful time!! The owner is very prompt with any questions. The home is beautiful and clean. If you want to be in a remote area for some great R&R then this is the place for you.
What a beauty this place packs. Such a relaxing time enjoying the sun rise and sun sets. Especially soaking in the spacious hot tub after a long day in the trails. We explored the local trails then ventured off down the road to Broken Bow. Another day off to Mena. We had such a grand time with life long friends.

Simply perfect!
My family and I (4 children, 2 adults) just got back from a wonderful week long stay at Kiamichi Mountain Villa. The villa exceeded all of my expectations! Every amenity you could want right on the property (did I mention we stayed for a WEEK!?), and just a short drive to boating adventures, horse back riding, and great restaurants! Sad to leave, but excited to go back!

Rainy vacation
It rained everyday we were on vacation but inspite of that-we had an amazing time. The view is breathtaking and incredible to experience a rain storm-fog...lots of windows-huge kitchen -livingroom combined so you didn't feel closed in. We made so many fun memories-playing cards -watching old movies and just hanging out. Also appreciated the quick feedback whenever we had questions.

Great Weekend!
The Kiamichi Mountain Villa was a great weekend getaway for a group of 6 of us to get out of Dallas to celebrate one of our closest friends getting married. The views are immaculate from the porch, and although it was quite hot in August, there was a nice breeze at night. The house is clean, and exceeded all of our expectations. I don't think anyone will have a problem with the cabin itself. We will definitely be coming back to do some fishing when it is a little cooler outside. Make sure when hiking to take plenty of water, as you can get dehydrated very easily hiking in the heat during summertime. Absolutely great place, and I would recommend for any occasion.

Beautiful property!
My family and I loved this cabin in the mountains! It was the perfect size for 8 adults and two kiddos. The kids loved the giant bean bag chair, tree house and see saw....the adults did too! The cabin provided everything you needed. The layout in the back bedrooms/bathroom connection was kind of strange. It would have been the perfect cabin if there was a door added to the hallway to allow easier access without needing to go through another bedroom. That was the only family complaint. Oh...and more lights outside! It gets dark and a bit creepy at night. All in all, it was a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much for offering the third night for free! That was an added bonus.

Beautiful and Restorative Abode
I've been to a lot of cabins over the years, and I would rate this cabin as #1. The detail and thought put into this cabin is unbelievable. I felt relaxed as soon as we pulled in and I left restored in order to return back to reality.
My favorite part of staying at this cabin was the view. The porches and windows face the west. I spent my mornings with coffee in hand overlooking the hills. In the evening, we sat in our chairs and watched the sunset. At night, we roasted marshmallows and did some star gazing. The view is amazing!!!!!!!
My only complaint about the area (not the cabin) is that there isn't a lot of good information about the surrounding hikes. We were there for only 4 days, and it was hard to find well marked trails. We would suggest doing a lot of research before you come to the cabin if you are going to hike. We ended up finding some nice hiking in Beaver's Bend and were successful with fishing there as well.
I highly recommend this cabin and I hope to return for a longer stay.

Kristie, Thank you for the wonderful review. We put a lot of love into the cabin and a lot of thought into what we thought others would enjoy and we are glad it shows.
There is information about the surrounding hiking on our website and in the book on the coffee table. Sometimes guests will pull a page out and don't put it back, ill have to be sure and check the information is still there.
Thanks again!
This property will not disappoint you, we were overwhelmed by all the choices on vrbo, we chose this one and do not regret it at all. You are quite literally on a mountain side, with rolling mountains as far as you can see. The cabin it's self is beautiful, everything worked. Few things worth mentioning, the hot tub can't go over 100°, the back bedroom setup. The back bedroom has to be walked through to get to the very last bedroom. Unless you wanna walk through the bathroom, but to do that, you still have to go through another bedroom lol, and the road to cabin, very beautiful, but also have a very steep incline, it's literally on the edge of the mountain, a small car may have difficulty going up it. Overall, not a huge deal. The property owners are extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. We found deer tracks and big cat tracks the size of my hand behind the cabin, which was pretty exciting. There are hiking trails at the beginning of the road to cabin, and lastly the bean bag chair, everyone loved it, it's a HUGE chair, I recommend to anyone, try this cabin. It will not disappoint.
Loved the view and the hot tub! There was so many fun lizards and moths to see and the sunrise and sunsets over the mountains was spectacular!

About the host
Hosted by Chad Arnouville
Chad and Jennifer Arnouville were born and raised in Louisiana and met while attending college. They were married in Fort Worth, Texas in 2005, where they moved so Jennifer could attend medical school and begin their careers.
They still reside in Fort Worth today with their two children, Claire and Isaac, and the family dog, Ollie.
The Arnouvilles purchased KMV in 2014 as a weekend retreat from a busy life in the city.
Why they chose this property
We searched high and low, across several states for the perfect retreat. Oklahoma was not initially on our radar, but, after two failed attempts to purchase other vacation properties in Texas and Arkansas, we decided to expand our search.
We had always heard great things about Broken Bow and the southeastern part of Oklahoma, but had never visited the area. We viewed many cabins in the immediate area of Broken Bow Lake that were fully furnished and ready to rent, but fell in love with the seclusion and natural beauty of Bouncer Mountain and Kiamichi Mountain Villa.
We wanted seclusion in a beautiful place that we could really call our own. After purchasing, we spent the better part of six months revitalizing and furnishing the cabin to create a great place to retreat to.
What makes this property unique
The moment you drive up to the cabin the views will get the best of you. The cabin has a firepit with benches perched right on top of the mountain. Or, you can choose to enjoy the views from one of the 2 private decks. The front deck has a small firepit, perfect for roasting marshmallows and watching the sunset. The rear deck has an 8 person hot tub that is perfect for those late evenings and winter months. Sit and enjoy your favorite beverage underneath the covered deck and surrounding twinkle lights.
