About this property

Gorgeous light annex 1 minute from the beach, v near Goodwood. Come to the sea.

The Shack is a lovely light and cosy annex . It is attached to our house but has it own private decking area for barbecues and outdoor chilling. It has one double bedroom and a sofa bed in the kitchen diner so can sleep 4 if need be but it is a bit of a squeeze with four in it. It is situated 1 minute's walk from the beach and a five minute walk from East Wittering village. The beach is lovely and uncrowded and, although it's a pebble beach, there is a lot of sand at low tide. West Wittering Beach is a 5 minute drive away or a 20/30 minute walk. It's great for all watersports. There are loads of great cafe's, restaurants and shops in East Wittering and plenty to do in the local area. There is a bus stop at the end of the road that can take you to West Wittering or Chichester. Goodwood and Chichester are both nearby.

Peaceful break from London

Great location. Short walk to beach and shops. Relaxing private outdoor space with room for dog to roam the front garden safely.

Great weekend getaway

Lovely place in great location for beach, cafes, pubs, walks. Everything needed for a weekend break away thank you. Good communication with host. Bottle of fizz and chocs on arrival was a lovely touch. Would recommend.

Fab little place for a getaway weekend

We had such a relaxing weekend in this cosy property it was hard to leave! It has been just perfect for ourselves and our cockerpoo, Freddie. We haven’t bothered to use the car at all. Fabulous walks on the beach - with hot chocolate at Billie’s - have been the order of the day. Chilling out with a book and a glass of wine in the evening has been just wonderful. The weather threw everything at us in terms of rain and wind but that just made it all the more enjoyable to have our cosy bolt hole !! Totally recommend this place for a little winter break - so peaceful and so close to the sea - what’s not to love.

Great place to stay

Stayed in this small house with a friend. Has every amenity you could wish for. Hosts are very friendly. Quick walk to East Wittering beach. Found a wonderful bakery nearby. Lovely comfortable stay. Could not for the life of us work out how to use the television for normal programming, but who wants to watch TV while at the beach anyway.

Fantastic location

We had a lovely weekend. The property is well equipped and in a great location a few minutes walk to the beach. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend it.

Why they chose this property

It's a really lovely property with a lovely feel. It's perfect if you want a break consisting of surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, walking on the beach or just chilling. Walking distance (5 mins) to shops, delicious restaurants and transport. Two minute walk to the sea. It's on a very quiet road and gets the sun all day on a sunny day.

What makes this property unique

Your very own self contained pad by the sea with a lovely outside decking area. Not many of these around. We also accept dogs.
