The property was absolutely beautiful!! The location is serene and private. The infinity pool was amazing. But, what made it special was Sebastian! He took us grocery shopping, gave us great recommendations for places to eat and what to visit. Sebastian made our stay very special! We give it a 10 rating!

Exceptional outside Porto

Exceptional property, location, and host. The property was both beautiful and practical. The location for us was a perfect balance, close enough to Porto to be able to pop in and out but just far enough away to feel a slower pace and connect with the lifestyle. It provided easy access to Porto but also an excellent home base to explore the different areas of the north, including the Duro Valley. And I cannot say enough about the host, Sebatião. His warmth and generosity really made the stay beyond great. He shared so much local knowledge we felt like we had an insider key to experience the best of each day. We are already planning a way to get back to this exceptional place!

We loved the villa. The pool is cool and clean to swim in with no chlorine. The outside space is incredibly comfortable with plenty of shade, aromas of lavender and breathtaking views of the Duoro and woodland.The villa was perfectly comfortable for the family including 3 teenage boys. We would definitely return. We visited Porto, the vineyards in Duoro valley, local river beaches, Atlantic beaches, a water park, the national park plus other wonderful destinations.Sebastiao lives on the enormous site and is incredibly attentive to any issue and very willing to help or assist in any way. It really was a fabulous family holiday.

A wonderful welcome

The pictures show less than reality. Don’t doubt about this property cause it’s just perfect! And what about the host. In more than 30 rentals on those kind of websites, I’ve never seen an host that dedicated to his guests. Would go back again!

Had a family holiday here July 2017, great property, well equipped (although need to buy own cleaning equipment/washing up liquid etc.). Beautiful location by River Douro with great views morning and night over the valley below. Very easy to get to Porto although car required to get to most places as off fairly major road. Beaches about 20-30 minute drive away. Host Sebastion very enthusiastic and very happy to help whenever needed! He has great knowledge of local area and was eager to share local information. Natural pool gorgeous, although beware if taking young children as steep edges. Only niggles were the gate to the property, which is immediately off the main road and VERY slow to open. We just about got the hang of it after 1 week! Also, beware if you like privacy as all the doors to the en-suite bathrooms have glass doors! Overall great villa, comfortably slept 6 adults, good size rooms with en-suites and great location. Would recommend.
