The Best

Over the years we have stayed in over 28 different places. Vila Serpa is by far the best we have experienced. Attention to detail is what stands out and the Serpa family are all wonderfully friendly and helpful. Beds are so comfortable, many different places to meet up and enjoy a drink. We spent almost the whole month outside and our grandchildren loved the pool. We couldn’t recommend any place else higher. You will love your time here.

Superb Gale Villa

!. Bedroom/Accommodation ideal for multi age family from Grandparents to Toddler 2. Hosts Tila and Fernando very welcoming with food and wine and local guided tour. Fernando check visits during stay appreciated. 3. Gated access to pool excellent safety feature. 4. Young childrens play area greatly enjoyed. 5. Hosts son Diogo very helpful by Whats App with Taxi arrangements and local restaurant recommendations 6.No need for car as supermarket/Beach/Restaurants within walking distance.

Excellent villa & location

Family of 8, age ranges 19 through to 78, very good sized villa in a very pleasant part of the Algarve, villa situated in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance to beach, bars, good restaurants and a well stocked supermarket with excellent bakery and fresh meat and fish. Bedrooms all of a good size and importantly comfy beds and good showers with hot water and good water pressure, kitchen had all you needed to cook and eat in with a large fridge / freezer in the utility room. Outside space was excellent, with good frontage behind a secure gate, separate play area for small children, good sized pool and plenty of comfy sun beds, two nice seating areas and a table / chairs that sits 8 adults comfortably, plus a good charcoal BBQ, outside toilet and shower. I can’t comment on large interior lounge / dinner as not used due to the excellent weather we had. Highly recommended villa and area, car not needed but recommended to help explore this lovely part of the Algarve. Diogo, the owners son, was an excellent host, there to greet us with a parcel of food, came to see us off and always on hand for any questions on recommendations re. restaurants, golf, wine tasting etc.

Nous avons été accueillis par des gens chaleureux, toujours prêts à rendre service. La maison est spacieuse, chaque chambre est équipée d'une salle de bain. Rien ne manque. La maison est proche de toute commodité, juste a côté de la plage.

Fabulous family holiday

From the moment we arrived (late in the evening due to a delayed flight) both Fernando and Tila were fantastic hosts. They provided pizza, wine and essentials on arrival, which was a great gesture. Fernando even took me on a quick tour of the local area to show me the supermarket, beach and restaurants. The property is exceptional and did not disappoint. It really met all of our needs as a three-generation family, and we all had the most brilliant holiday. The pool is great. Fernando and Tila were on hand throughout our stay to answer any questions we had, and also to help us arrange taxis when we looked to travel into the Old Town and to Algarve shopping. They could not have been more helpful. The property is in a great spot, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Whilst it was perfect for us the area might be a little quiet for families with teenagers, however Albufeira is not that far away if a busier nightlife was required. In all we would highly recommend the property, and hope to return one day. If all property hosts had the same attention to detail and interaction with their guests, then booking properties would be so much easier and stress free. Definitely a five-star experience.

Lovely Villa close to everything you need.

We've been back about a week now and are all missing Raid Serpa. This really was a great base for our Portuguese holiday. The four of us stayed with a family of 3 and another couple. There was loads of room for everyone with the generous sized beds and bathrooms. Although there is plenty of indoor dining space we ate outdoors every night as it's such a nice place to sit and relax. The traditional low cushion area under the shade sail was a firm favourite. The pool was in use every day and with the cover was always a pleasant temperature (May half term). Galé beach is so clean and swimming in the waves was much enjoyed. We used wetsuits so we could stay in longer but it was warm enough not to need them. for something quiter there are numerous seculded bays easily reachable.ifnyiur prepared for a short walk. Other highlights were a kayak tour of the caves (including going into some amazing tunnels) and the castle at Silves. All in all a very relaxing holiday in a lovely Villa with friendly, helpful hosts who want to go the extra miles.

Wonderful house and lovely hosts

Riad Serpa is situated quite close to the beach and in walking distance to a large supermarket. The house itself is charming with a cosy inner courtyard with dinner table, lounge furniture and a pool with sunbeds. All rooms are decorated in moroccan style full of colours and light and each bedroom has is own bathroom. The kitchen is well functioning, you can actually cook a dinner here. The owners are very helpful and hospitable. When we arrived we were shown the house and the husband then drove us around the neighbourhood to point out the beaches, supermarkets and best restaurants. The day after he came around with a large box of freshly picked oranges - verden nice. We had a wonderful stay - it felt like hotel.

Grandes Férias

Em primeiro lugar devo referir a simpatia dos anfitriões Sra. Otilia e Sr. Fernando que nos receberam de forma acolhedora, nos orientaram para os melhores locais da zona mostrando sempre grande disponibilidade. Casa com todas as comodidades para uma excelente estadia. Situada numa zona calma, apenas 15min a pé da Praia da Galé. Todos os quartos com WC privativo, sala ampla, cozinha bem equipada, área de lazer segura para crianças, onde se inclui a excelente piscina que fez as delicias de miúdos e graúdos. Recomendo vivamente a Villa Riad Serpa.

Geräumiges familienfreundliches Haus

Wir sind mit 2 Familien angereist und waren begeistert! 4 voll ausgestatte Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad und vielen Details, die den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht haben. Der Pool war genial und der nächste Strand ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Es gab viele Details für Familien mit kleinen und grossen Kindern. Das Haus wurde erst dieses Jahr renoviert und ist wie neu! Der Besitzer war so nett und hat uns gezeigt, wo man am günstigsten im Supermarkt einkauft, wo die Einheimischen ihren Fisch kaufen, wo die besten Strände sind, worauf man bei den Restaurants achten muss und wo die besten sind, etc. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Riad Serpa é 5 estrelas

Desta vez ficamos na casa Riad Serpa e tal como as outras, é excelente: Grandes áreas, muito bem equipada e limpa. A decoração é "linha" marroquina com muito bom gosto e muito funcional. O quarto em anexo é perfeito (foi logo a minha escolha para dormir) com um ambiente muito característico. Existe zona para as crianças brincarem, barbecue todo equipado e uma piscina muito boa e cuidada. Em suma, trata-se de o local ideal para umas férias relaxantes e sem preocupações. Os pormenores e o cuidado para com os hospedes são "imagem de marca" da Otília e do Fernando, anfitriões a quem enviamos um grande beijo/abraço e agradecemos. Até breve, Nuno Pereira

Excelente Semana Férias

Excelente é a palavra para descrever a semana que passamos nesta maravilhosa vivenda. Uma casa extremamente bem decorada, com muito bom gosto e com um tema marroquino que é comum em toda a casa. Uma casa com todas as comodidades e mais algumas e com uma limpeza sem mácula, fizeram desta estadia uma semana bem passada e descansada. Com área de piscina e de churrasqueira em óptimo plano e sem falta de espaço. Com certeza, será para repetir se tivermos oportunidade. Uma palavra para os maravilhosos anfitriões que tivemos, sempre atenciosos, simpáticos e que fizeram de tudo para que não nos faltasse nada. Recomendo a estadia nesta vivenda. Beautiful and charming villa.

Unfortunately myself and my extended family have just returned home after staying at this beautiful, homely villa and were privileged to be the first visitors to stay in the villa. We were absolutely in love with the house and could not fault one thing. It was very well equipted and had everything a family could need when away from home. The pool and barbeque area was lovely also. The beach is just a short 5 minute stroll away and is also very beautiful. The owners Tila and Fernando were always available if needed and could not have been more helpful, lovely people. I would definitely return to this villa and would have no problem recommending it to anybody else.
