This Villa’s modern design was inspired by the Moroccan architecture and its warm colors, it offers wonderful details with comfortable furnishings throughout. A swimming pool and a traditional Berber lounge area will be appreciated and help ensure an unforgettable visit to Gale, a premium location in Albufeira!

It is located in one of the Algarve’s most sought after locations. In just 5-min walk you can be at Praia da Gale, Pedras Amarelas, Salgados or Praia do Lourenço, which are some of the most famous yellow sand beaches in Albufeira. Additionally, in a 3-min walk you have access to 2 supermarkets to get your fresh bread for breakfast.

The Villa is rigorously cleaned and sanitised before and after your stay using professional grade/hospital grade cleaners, which is in line with the Portuguese government “Clean and Safe” 2021 cleaning rules and the new European Tourism Covid-19 Safety seal.

Each of the 4 bedrooms have their own bathroom, luxury beds, linens and towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge + freezer, microwave, oven, coffee machine and kettle. You will also have access to free Wi-Fi.

My family loved the house. My mom thought it was the nicest home in the neighborhood. We are all enjoyed the beautiful plantings and decor. Every day we noticed something new and unique. The host family was very responsive to any questions. I felt like I was staying at a private resort with access to my own concierge!! We would stay at this property again or any property hosted by this family.

Family holiday for special occasion

Having just returned from Villa Matias Gale for my wife's 40th birthday celebrations it's difficult to summarise how good our experience was. We were a group of 5 adults and 2 children of 5&7. The accommodation is exactly as listed. Very spacious for that size group with plenty of different areas for relaxing that we never felt under each others feet. Everything is finished to such a tasteful, unique and high standard. Beds were extremely comfy and all bedrooms a great size. Views from the (huge) balcony looking out at the sea on an evening as the sunset were truly amazing. Pool was absolutely brilliant. My 2 girls must have spent at least 3 hours a day in there and would have spent even longer if we hadn't been dragging them to 1 of the many amazing beaches all the time. The pool cover really does work well and even in late May the temperature was perfectly fine for me to stay in the pool for up to 2 hours sometimes. The beaches (for me) are really where this area of the Algarve excels. If long stretches of unbroken sand & sea is your thing you're well covered with a 10 minute stroll to Praia da Gale. It's the smaller beaches that we love though which are also just 5-10 minutes stroll away. Where this Villa stands head and shoulders above most places we have ever visited though is the hosts. They are simply exceptional. From 1st contact, sending the guide book through before we arrived, providing food for us as we arrived late, recommendations & 5* communication.

Lovely villa

Amazing villa, very clean and plenty of space for 8 of us. Lots of outdoor seating areas and a great pool. Kitchen had everything we needed. Hosts are lovely and very helpful. Beaches are only 10-15 mins walk away.

FANTASTIC HOUSE

Myself and my family had a beautiful week at this absolutely beautiful house. We arrived in the evening and received a very warm welcome from the owners, Fernando and Tila. They greeted us with with food, drinks and snacks which was great after a journey. The house is really stunning. It is exceptionally clean, comfortable, well equipped, maintained, spacious and in a lovely area. Great pool and plenty of outside areas to relax at any time of the day or evening . Near beaches, restaurants and supermarkets, all easy walks. Communication at all times was excellent. Tila and Fernando are so attentive to make sure your stay is perfect. Overall, this house and hosts are at another level from any other we have rented over the last 25 years. We highly recommend staying here and hope to make a return visit.
