Honeysuckle Cottage: is a really spacious place for a family or group of friends

Honeysuckle Cottage has three bedrooms upstairs – the exceptionally spacious master bedroom has a superking bed that can be divided to make twins and an en suite bathroom; the second bedroom has a king bed that can also be divided to make twins and an en suite shower room; the third bedroom has a king bed and an en suite shower room. These rooms are all light and airy with glowing wooden floors. Downstairs there is a fourth extra bedroom with a double bed and en suite shower – this bedroom uses the toilet in the utility room next door and can be rented at an extra cost of £80 per night . All bedrooms are provided with plenty of large, fluffy towels, soaps and hair-dryer.

The cottage has a private paved courtyard with chairs and a table for outdoor sitting or eating and a small BBQ

Delightful people - great property

Everyone we have interacted with at this property has been warm, welcoming, professional and unobtrusive. We’ve enjoyed a two night quiet stay doing very little – but, that was exactly what we wanted. The cottage has worked well for us - it is nicely presented and really, quite large. The seating area outside is a real sun trap and a place where we feel we can safely let our little dog run free. We had evening meals delivered to the property and a special thanks must go to the chefs. The meals were deliciously home made, tasty and generously portioned!

Weekend in Brecon

Our group of 6 adults and a dog had a very comfortable stay in Honeysuckle Cottage. It is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equiped and the lounge/dining area was ideal for a group. It was a treat to have ensuite facilities in all bedrooms. There was an outside area which would have been great for al fresco drinks but sadly we did not use due to the weather. It would be nice if there was an instruction folder for info; we had difficulty in working the TV. However, there were useful leaflets for ideas of excursions. We all had an excellent weekend and would consider coming back in the future. Thank you.

Long weekend in glorious countryside

Attractive cottage in a larger complex of event venue and country house. Sensibly we had no interaction with the owners because of the coronavirus, so some of the categories above don’t apply. Very comfortable and clean. We suggest more cutlery and plates etc would be useful, plus oven gloves and smaller bowls for using the microwave. Minor suggestions. Overall a great weekend in a lovely location.

Perfect for our family get-together

Honeysuckle Cottage was perfect for our family get-together. The location is perfect to explore the Beacons and the journey to Builth Wells was remarkably easy to attend the Royal Welsh Show. All rooms in the cottage are very spacious (the master Bedroom is huge), the kitchen is well equipped and en-suite Bathrooms to every bedroom made this ideal for 3 adult couples. We would highly recommend Honeysuckle Cottage and will definitely be coming back. Thank you.

Large clean bedrooms with own facilities in a lively part of Wales. Very pleasant and open communication on forehand with owner. Vert helpfull. Pet friendly was really pet friendly: we could walk the dogs on the property and cottage was spacious enough to have them inside. All 4 of us recommend this cottage!

A lovely cottage

We really enjoyed staying here, for a Family Wedding nearby. The single track roads to get there were a bit tricky at times, but the Cottage itself was just what we wanted. Liza was really helpful and friendly too!
