Great stay with 4 adults. Location is great. House is nice with a terrace. Bathrooms slightly small if you are a bigger person. Highly recommended otherwise.
The place was clean and comfortable. The owners were very kind and willing to let us have an after hours check-in. They quickly answered any questions we had. The bus stop was close and it was only a couple blocks to walk to businesses. I would stay here again.
We had a great stay in Lisbon. It was nice to be out the super touristy area but close enough to walk or take public transit to everything we wanted to do. The cafe on the corner, Copelia, was the best part of our Lisbon stay. The apartment was comfortable, clean and it was nice to have air-conditioning in the summer months.
First time in Lisbon. Place is as advertised and more. Well stocked and clean. Location is good for the price an easy transit away from the busy main city center. Nice and quiet in the evening.
Definitely recommend it for families or a friend getaway.
We loved this place, it’s well appointed, was clean and tidy, had lots of amenities. The only drawback was there is only 1 air conditioning unit in the apartment which doesn't reach the bedrooms very well since it’s located in the living room. I would recommend this place.
We loved this apartment. It is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Maria was a gracious hostess who gave us a great welcome to Lisbon and was very accommodating. The apartment is in a very central location. Yes, two of the bathrooms are very small but we had no problem with them. Four of us stayed very comfortably here and we hosted 8 people for dinner.
Our property manager was very attentive to our needs. She promptly answered our questions and even arranged a van to the train station for us. The apartment was spacious for 5 adults and very clean. We were about a 20 minute walk from the waterfront with numerous outdoor cafes including a beer museum.
The apartment was immaculate and perfectly furnished. A nice selection of spices, oils and basic ingredients. The location was excellent for exploring interesting historical sites and parks. Across the street was a cafe with delicious croissants and other baked goods and delicious coffee. Two doors down was a great little grocery store with everything we needed, friendly owners, and the best oranges I’ve ever eaten. Loved this place and highly recommend it! Carolyn
The apartment was clean and well stocked especially the kitchen. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms could do with updating - particularly one of the showers. The balcony is inward facing so doesn't have a view. It's a bit noisy as it's near a police department but is near a metro station, Rossio square and a short walk to Alfama restaurants.
The location was great - close to nice little neighborhood market, good restaurants, Moniz metro stop, and Alfama District. Area was extremely quite, which was great for a good night's sleep.
Apartment was a four out of five - beautifully re-done and with A/C in the livingroom/kitchen area. But...my husband wished there was more storage place; the outdoor seating area doesn't exactly look like the picture, and the apartment overlooks an overgrown courtyard that needs a good clean-up.

Lisbon - central location
We enjoyed our stay. The neighbourhood was a bit dirty. Handy market store next door. Inconsistent hot water for showers. Three doors to choose from for washrooms/showers. There is only air conditioning in the living room atea and none in the 3 bedrooms. The pictures need updating as not showing the one bedroom by the living room. The balcony was a decent size.
Our stay was delightful. The apartment was comfortable for the three of us. The hostess prepared a wonderful book containing information about the apartment and tour guidance we used each day. The very next door to the apartment contains a well stocked small grocery that served as a “pantry”. If we needed any item of food, wine, or paper goods I simply went there as it is open 0800-2400 daily. The presence of a dishwasher and washing machine made our domestic chores fast and convenient. Most important of all was the cheerful nature of our hostess. Susanna’s place is definitely at the top of our list. (Did I mention a bus #760 comes by every 20 minutes to take you down the hill to the subway entrance, trolley stop, as well as other buses?)

A great space. Spacious, clean and equipped with plenty. We didn't need it too much, but worth noting that A/C is only in the main living/kitchen/convertible bedroom. The apt is in great location, just past the busier areas so it is pretty quiet but just a block and a half away to the more populated spots. The walk-up is not too bad, but because its its only a floor up, you do get some street noise if you leave windows open (would only be an issue if you wanted cooler air while sleeping) The patio is a great feature and one really does feel at home in the space. You might here some noise from the upstairs unit but nothing too obtrusive. Having a little market next door was also super convenient. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay again!
The red door opened to our apt in Lisbon. We welcomed the sight of it after a long day walking up and down and up and down!!
Though it was on the 2nd floor, those steps weren’t much compared to the city of Lisbon. We welcomed a place to sit and relax together with our friend and yet have the privacy of our own bedrooms. The washing machine was extremely welcomed and let us not take so many clothes with. While the second shower is very small, we just shared the larger shower between us and then could each otherwise have our own bathrooms. The air conditioner in main sections was lovely, and to cool off the bedrooms we opened the windows in the evening and then could shut if needed to sleep. The shutters kept noise down and light out.
I really appreciated that we were shown where everything was, not in a hurried manner and there was a book left with instructions on everything. There also were some supplies for the dishwasher, washing machine, and other items in the pantry as well.
Coffee shop a couple doors away and stores for food close by, if just milk or so, nearly next door. Close to tram 28 to catch a ride early one morning without long lines.
Oh yes, nice hot, hot water for showers!

Needs some TLC
The apartment is considerably older and more worn than the pictures show. The hallway into the building had piles of dirt/dust and the plaster was coming off the wall. Inside the apartment, it really needs a deep clean and updating. The appliances were dusty and dirty. The toilet in one of the bathrooms had a block of wood under it to help support it. When we sat on it, it felt like it was going to separate from the wall. There were cracks in the wall on either side of it. I let host know and was told it was fine. Second shower is so small that only a child could get in and then move to take a shower. We didn't even use it. There were no coffee pods for coffee maker and through trial and error found out it takes specific pods sold at a store about 5 minutes walk away. It's a short walk to get to downtown Lisbon but not much in immediate area of apartment. Host was responsive to messages and there is a nice binder with information about apartment and things to do in area. Would definitely consider these issues before booking.

Family of 6 stayed at this property for 1 week. Overall our experience was awesome. We loved that it was far enough from the crowds but close enough to walk to the city center without any issue. Communication to get in the property was great, the notebook with suggestions was great! I would highly recommend trying some of the dining suggestions in the notebook. Like most reviewers have noted there are 2 showers and 2 bathrooms. The second shower is very small and probably best suited for children and smaller people (even though I did take 2 showers in it and I'm 6' 2" tall). Technically it is a 2 bedroom, but there are 2 extra sleeping sofas. One in the living room and another adjacent to the living room. The one that is adjacent can be corded off with a sliding door which technically makes it a third bedroom. Having 2 bathrooms are a plus, but one of the bathroom doors does not close correctly (not an issue for us but might be for you). The area is quieter than the city center (but it is still a big city so expect big city noises). Across the street there is a local eatery (Copelia) which is always busy with locals and was a god send for our family! (we ate breakfast there 3 times! and lunch once!). There is a washing machine and drying racks in the property, there is also a laundry mat downstairs if you need to dry your clothes and do not want to wait for mother nature. Loved Lisbon! and the propery met the needs of a family of 6 comfortably!
